Taemi isn't your normal idol. Instead of keeping her image all cutesy, she does her best to destroy it. She thinks that people shouldn't like you for what you're not, but for who you are. She looks very cute and approachable but trust me she isn't. It takes awhile to get to know her true self. For her age she's well expirenced and very mature. She's an aegyo ice princess. Taemi can argue with someone she dislikes for hours. She's good at yelling and talking back to people. Yes, she's disrespectful but not towards the elderlys. She's not the type who socialises with other people. The funniest part about Taemi is that when she doesn't win or get something, she'll literaly sit her on the floor and pout like a baby who didn't get a toy. Even though she's stubborn and hard headed she likes going with the flow. Leadership doesn't really take place in her. She's hot tempered and gets mad too quickly at times, but who doesn't ? It's hard to see her smile naturaly due to her past , but only her close unnies and dongsaengs know about it. The way she thinks is way different from the way she acts , from her cold hearted personality to her fairytale mind. Taemi always thinks before she speaks and never regrets anything. Don't get on her nerves cause , she's violent. Unlike most of the well know kpop idols , Kim Taemi is different.
History:
Taemi came from the worst family , or thats what she thinks. Her past is the reason why she's locked in a shell today. Her mom left her when she was five and her dad was abusive. She barely went home after school not wanting to face her dad. Everyday she would dance and study for hours at school. At the age of 10, her teacher reported her dad to the police and adopted Taemi herself. Now, the only thing she's aiming for is to repay her teacher / mom. Her dad was korean and her birth mom was chinese. She was born in California and speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, and English fluently. She's the only child.
She was chosen for Fly High because SM saw her Youtube videos and how she put so much effort in the videos she created. She was very passionate in things she did and SM saw that, through her videos. Her trainee life was simple, she trained for 7 months
