“But when I saw Daniel smack you in the face with his glove to tag you out I knew that was a dirty play! I mean aren’t you supposed to tag at the feet?” Ken exclaimed as they sat in the food court, having some smoothies; Aiden nodded to Ken’s question, remembering that day.

“The proper tag is to block the base, when you have the ball, and tag down at the feet; anywhere higher the batter is safe” Aiden said calmly

“And then when they were yelling ‘Nose bleeder’ and ‘Take him out again’ I was pissed at them! I mean really! Then when he took you out at home and you got him out you should have seen his face!” the other yelled; smiling brightly.

Aiden chuckled and tried to visualize but couldn’t “I bet he was pissed when I got him out; it was a close game” she takes a sip

“Yeah! You’re pretty tough for a girl”

Aiden then began to choke on her smoothie; panicking, Ken stood and went to her side and rubs her back and calms her

“W-W-What?!” she choked, coughing a few more times before breathing normally, she grabs a napkin and covers , staring at Ken with slight redness in her eyes

“You’re pretty tough for a girl?” he repeated, now Aiden knows she heard right

“What?” she asked playing it off, trying, “There is no wa-”

“Oh stop, Ken-jumma knows all” he said, hugging her shoulders

“Even if I was how could you te-”

“Easy; face and hips”

“How does that even?” she sighs, giving up

“Well, your face is very feminine, hips are like a girl's; I could see with the baseball pants, even though it looked like you were trying to look male”

“Okay, you are on point”

“I know” he smiled and shook the both of them side to side. Aiden sighed and leaned back in her seat, then looked over at Ken, “I think you’re pretty cool”

“Thanks, I guess”

“Can we be best friends? Please?” he begged, doing aegyo

She couldn’t resist, she nods, pinching his cheek “Alright~” they continued to talk and mess around; looking like siblings.

Aiden was laughing at a joke Ken told noticed an unmoving figure from afar, calming down she looked up and noticed a boy with a group around him. Her face dropped and soon Ken noticed and looked “Those your friends, we should call them over” he says ready to wave them over but Aiden stops him

“No, we need to leave” she said, getting out of her seat;

“What? Why?”

“Let’s just say they aren’t as nice as you think” Aiden said grabbing his arm and starts walking opposite of Joon’s group; sadly they followed the two.

They walked into a clothing store and hid in the round clothes racks, soon she felt her phone vibrate and she looks at the message “It’s from my friend; he’s forced to be in the group; reasons I don’t really care. Anyways; he said to hide for a while, he’ll find a way to get them out of the mall…” Aiden whispered, Ken nodded and they stay quiet seeing a row of feet stop nearby

“I saw that brat, I know it” Aiden recognized it as Joon

“Are you sure? I mean we have been wrong before…I mean the only one we’ve seen him with is his twin brother; Kevin” she heard Dongho say,

“Yeah, I highly doubt the kid hangs outside with anyone!” laughter arose and Aiden shook her head

“Yeah, maybe you guys are right…let’s go…what made me think it was that punk is because they practically ran from us…we should still look; let’s check the other store, they could have escaped while we were talking; come on” they waited until another text came in saying coast is clear.

Two heads pop up from the center and caused a woman to scream in shock; they two bowed and said sorry while running out. They stop at the water fountain and soon started laughing “Omo did you see her face!”

“Ne, priceless!” we laughed for a while and started heading out

“So who is your friend?”

“Shin Dongho”

“Oh I see; team captain” he nudged her shoulder, “You like him right??”

“Yes, you better not spill anything we spoke of today”

“I won’t!” he smiled widely

“Hey, want to come over for a bit? You can meet my baby sister and brother”

“Really?? Ottokaji~~” he was over joyed;  but it ended quickly when they heard

“Woo!”

“And that’s our cue to run!” Aiden said and the two ran all the way to Aiden’s house, losing the group within minutes.

When they arrive Ken is almost out of breath, “Never…again….will….I….run….”

“It helps develop stronger and healthier lungs you know; my brother jogs daily; because he wants to become a singer”

“Cool so do I” they enter the house and Aiden stops and sees the Elvin couple

“I swear to god, I can NEVER bring friends over!” she said loud enough and made the couple pull away blushing

“Why are you back already?” Kevin asked hiding

“I made a new friend recently, and I invited him over”

“Really?” he stood up and looked at the brown haired boy, “Hello”

“Hi, I’m Lee Jaehwan, friends call me Ken; nice to meet you” the two shook hands

“I’m Woo Sunghyun, my twin and friends call me Kevin”

“And I am Kim Kyoungjae; and I got to go, Joon is calling us all to meet up….” The pigeon sighed before kissing Kevin’s head and leaves.

“Boyfriend I take it?”

“Ne, sorry about that”

“No prob, and by the way I know Aiden’s a girl”

“Can you stop that; you make it seem like it’s the biggest discovery since bread….”

“Did….Did she…?”

“No, I knew; when I watched her play baseball I noticed how she used a belt to keep her pants from falling, she has a small waist….”

“Ae Sook~” Aiden cooed leaving the two males and picks up the tiny newborn.

When five came around Ken left and said he’d see Aiden tomorrow after school; she nodded slightly and bid him goodbye before returning her attention to Ae Sook

“Ah good, you two are here” Hyung-hwa said walking in

“Ne, we have some good news” June spoke as she sat next to Aiden and gazed at Ae Sook, “we finally decided on the name for her, and we picked Amber”

“Amber” Aiden whispered, and then gave the newborn her finger and she grabs the finger and nibbles with her gums, “Hey you…my fingers are not your teething toys” Kevin laughed and looked over his sister shoulder

“Hi Amber” he spoke and made a few faces

That night the family stayed together and each group, siblings and parents, got to take care of Amber, crying or not; soon they went to bed, even Amber whom always had trouble sleeping at night.
