It was a beautiful Friday morning and Aiden was jumping around the house, why?

Because today was the last day of school, meaning it was the beginning of summer after lunch.

“Kevin come on!! It’s the last day of school!!” the teen yells from the kitchen, dressed and ready to go

“Keeeevvvviiiii-”

“Aiden please be quiet!” Kevin hisses coming into the kitchen, “Ready to go?”

“No I’m not” Aiden says sarcastically “I’m going back to bed”

“Well then, no choice”

“What are yo-” Aiden was cut off when he felt a shoulder dig into his stomach “KEVIN!!!”

After ten minutes of struggling upon their older brother’s shoulder Aiden stopped and sighed “This looks off…”

“Not really” Aiden rolls his eyes. Soon he was placed on the ground, the teen stands back up and fixes his shirt “Hey watch the shoes! They are brand new” he says flipping his bangs out of his eyes.

“I am still surprised…” Kevin mutters and walks off

Aiden stood there dumbfound before figuring out what the other said and runs after him “Yah!”

Chemistry class was fun for the twins, Sungmin, and Zander; they were chatting together

“Alright class, please clean up your messes and I shall see you next semester” the teacher smiled and bowed to the students.

The four teens walked out and headed to their other classes “Aiden!” Henry yells tackling the teen “We will hang out during summer break right??”

“O-Of course Henli, y-your crushing my organs…” the mocha lets him go and helps him stand.

Henry, A.J, and Aiden stayed in their own circle during the second class; chatting

“So have you thought of a career yet Aiden?” A.J asks

“Well…either a singer, or a medical assistant; they are both interesting”

“Wow…” Henry whispers “I think you’d be best at both”

“Yeah, you seem like the type of person” A.J says with a smile

“What about you guys?”

“Singer” they say smiling brightly

“That’s cool” Aiden says “Honestly it is, if you make it you better not forget me!”

“We won’t”

“Who’d forget about you?” Henry asks “I will never ever forget you Aiden!”

“I’m glad” Aiden says with a small smile.

At lunch everyone sat at the table, chatting happily; Aiden smiles slightly and looks around the café, eyes stopping at a specific table

“Aiden?” Hae whispers, following the Youngers gaze he stared as well; luckily they weren’t noticed by the other party

“Are you thinking about what I said last time?” Aiden looked at the other, bowing head slightly hiding a faint blush

“No, I just remembered something…” he whispers, telling the truth, “Something that might haunt me for a while…”

“Huh?”

“Ah…n-nothing, eat fishy” Aiden says stuffing some rice in the boys mouth, the other doesn’t ask any further, and happily eats the rice

Aiden bites his lip slightly, looking up at the table again; looking at Dongho, Eli, and then at Joon

“I won’t let you hurt them…” he whispers.

“Hey are you listening Aiden?”

“What?”

“Aish, I asked if karaoke was good for today”

“Yeah, sounds fun”

“Awesome~! Let’s go!”

“Now??” Aiden questions, being pulled by the arm

“Yes now, before the place is packed”

Little did they know; that there were two certain males were watching them leave.

“Hae hyung…”

“Hmm?”

“What would you do to protect the ones you love?” the fish boys sits there for a while, thinking over the teens words

“Not sure, but to be honest; I’d do anything for the ones I love…even lie…” Aiden looks at Hae

“Hyung…is there someone you are protecting…?”

“Y…Yeah…” the younger smiles softly

“I won’t push any further; you can tell me whenever you want”

“After this, do you want to hang out?”

“Sure” the teen hooks his arm with the fish “Now come on, let’s go before everyone ditches us”

“Ne~” Hae smiles and skips with Aiden into the room they rented and sat with Kevin.

“Summer vacation begins, now!” Eli shouts as he and Kevin walk into the Woo’s house,

“So tell me Eli, what are you planning to do with my brother?” Aiden asks, watching the elder

“Take him on as many dates as possible”

“Cool”

“I’ll be right back Eli”

“So what are you doing this summer shorty?” Eli asks

“Nothing…until someone asks to hang out; nothing.”

“Why not hang out with Dongho?”

“Ha, and I repeat; HA. As if he would want to hang out with me…” Aiden says tossing his backpack

“Aww come on, he’s got nothing to do over the summer”

Aiden sat on the couch silently, making Eli whine softly and sit next to the teen

“Listen…Joon has gone off to wherever so we all are free of him; it’s safe to hang out”

“That’s not the problem…”

“What is it then?”

“I…think he hates me, okay?? Ever since I came started going to your school I feel hatful aura from him…”

“Truth is, he is always like that…towards everyone…but you should give him a chance Aid. He’s a nice kid”

The latter sits in silence for a bit longer before finally speaking, “Alright fine…I’ll try”

“Cool, because I told him you’d meet him in a little while”

“What?!” Aiden shouts, “Are you out of your mind!?”

“Yes and no” Eli said with a smirk, “Now hurry up and get dress, go!”

Aiden sighs and gets up and goes to get dress properly; Kevin comes down and looked at his boyfriend’s not-so-innocent smile “What did you do?”

“I’m trying to get Dongho and Aiden to hang out, so that way he isn’t on the couch all day long”

“How sweet of you Ellison”

“Yeah” Eli nods

“So we wait for Aid-”

“I’m ready…” the teen says cutting off the elder

“Sweet! Let’s go!” Eli says running out the door

“You’re boyfriend, not mine” is all Aiden said to Kevin before following them.

“So what game do you want to play?” Aiden asks, “Maybe basketball? Or air hockey?”

“I’m fine with whatever…”

The two teen stood in between the two suggested games awkwardly, once Eli and Kevin left; the tension around them became awkward.

“I guess basketball…” Dongho said, “If you’re okay with that” he continues while inserting a token; Aiden bites softly onto his lips then walks forward and joins the elder boy

“I can handle it…”

“Oh really? Is that a challenge?”

“Maybe” Aiden says, “Up for it?” he got no reply as the game started

“I’ll take that as a yes” the teen says and starts shooting.

“Dude you at basketball”

“No I don’t! I-I just haven’t played in a long time…”

“You shot the basketball backwards on the first shot”

Aiden felt his face get hot

“Plus the score is seventy-six to fourteen…”

“Shut up…”

“Will a snack make you feel better?”

“You’re offering to buy me a snack?”

“Well...yeah, I guess” 

“Just one more game, then we can okay?”

“Okay, what one?”

“These” Aiden walks over to the cycle race games, “I’ll race you”

“You’re on!” the elder says straddling the other cycle and the game began.

Two laps later…

“You’re losing Dongho”

“Shut up” Aiden laughs and leans towards the latter

“Better catch up, you’re in 5^th place”

“I know that” he leans away and groans in frustration, “You won…”

“Yeah, finally good at something”

“What?”

“Let’s go eat”

“You’re good at stuff”

“Not really”

“You’re awesome in baseball”

“Not really, you’re a hell lot better than me” Dongho chuckles at the compliment and pushes the younger playfully

“Open your eyes kid, your awesome” Aiden glares at the elder before the rolling of the eyes

“Alright, I’ll take your word for now”

“Hungry?” Dongho asks walking into a shop with Aiden in tow

“Ne Dongho-ah…”

“’Dongho-ah’?”

“Sorry, I should say hyung since you’re older than me”

“No, no; it’s fine” Dongho says softly, feeling his heart speed up slightly then shakes his head

“Okay then”

The two sat quietly while eating their lunch “So what are you doing this summer?” Aiden asks, breaking the silence between them

“Maybe practice a bit, sleep, go to my vocal and dance lessons”

“Really,” Aiden asks, “Training to be an idol?”

“Yeah, I’ve always wanted to be an idol, so does everyone in our school”

“I guess not me”

“Wae?”

“I want to become a medical assistant, or now a registered nurse. Being an idol is my last choice”

“Cool, maybe if anyone of us gets hurt you’ll help us out” the two laughed slightly before looking at each other

“Maybe~” Aiden softly sang

“Well…I am glad we hung out today…we should do this more often…you are a lot different than what I thought”

Aiden smiles and nods “I agree, we should hang out more this summer” Dongho smiled brightly before sipping at his drink

Maybe he isn’t as bad as I thought… thought both Dongho and Aiden; the elder watched Aiden closely through his bangs, feeling his cheeks warm in the slightest.

okay I had serious writers block over the summer, everytime I'd open my laptop I wouldn't write more than two sentances; I am sorry if this chapter isn't good. But I should be back to writing while doing school. Geez...
