Kiara's Pov
"Jamie! Come on! It's been two months. I think I'm healed enough to do things for myself." I complained as he lifted me out of the car. "I know. I just like doing this. It's fun since you can't do anything about it." He said laughing. I bit his shoulder and he let me down. I looked at him and saw that he was wearing another stylish outfit. "You're keeping that style aren't you?" I asked him as he took my hand. He looked down and shrugged. "I kind of like it. Plus, we look right together if I wear stuff like this." He said swinging our arms back and forth. I stopped walking towards the school and turned to him. "You don't have to do that. I don't care what you wear. I don't care if we look odd to other people. I'll love you even if you decided to go back to wearing giant shorts, wheelies, and tube socks like you did in middle school." I said looking into his eyes. He smiled and bent down to kiss me. "I know. I just said I like dressing like this Ki. You make guys jealous of me when you walk down the hall, I need to give the girls some eye candy too." He said pulling away and smirking. I my teeth and punched him in the arm. "Kidding Ki! Sheesh." He said holding his arm. I rolled my eyes and walked ahead of him. He grabbed me by the waist and kissed my cheek. "Ew, stop. Not in front of everyone!" I whispered loudly as I tried to pull away. He let me go and grabbed my hand again. "They already know we're together. No need to act ashamed. The geeky Asian turned male model tuned jerk turned geeky Asian male model with hot girlfriend and the Black best friend who helped geeky nerd get the girl of his dreams turned into left out and rudely ignored beauty turned into prank calling Heaven girl turned into Black best friend who almost died but woke up and confessed her undying love for her best friend who felt the same way and is now dating him. Nope. Nothing to be ashamed or weirded out about." He said laughing. I smiled at the oddness of it all. We walked into class and took our seats. He walked me to class like he always did, except we held hands. After school was over, we walked to his car. "What should we do today? It's Friday and we don't have plans this weekend." He said pulling out of the school's parking lot. "Well, my parents are gonna be gone all this week and next. You can come chill at my place. We'll do what we usually do, minus the planing on getting Jess to notice you." I said adjusting the radio. "Yeah, we can still do that. I think I saw her look my way today. She wants me." He said holding in a laugh. "You're so lucky you're driving and I don't want to die again, or you'd be in so much pain James Kyung Choi." I said squinting my eyes. His smile dropped and he looked over at me. "Don't joke about that Ki. I almost lost you. I never want to go through that or hear about it ever again." He said grabbing my hand and intertwining our fingers. "I have to drop you off, but I'll be back in a few hours." He said pulling into my driveway. I looked at him and nodded. I wasn't gonna make him tell me what he was doing. I've known him long enough to know that if he doesn't out right tell you what he's doing then nothing is gonna make him tell you. I walked into my house and decided to order an extra large pizza and some hot wings. I took a quick shower and changed into some comfortable clothes. I grabbed both of our blankets and walked into the living room. I picked out a scary movie for us to watch when he got back. I heard a knock at the door and saw it was the pizza man. I paid him and set the stuff up on the table. an hour later I heard a knock at the door and saw it was Jamie. "Why'd you change your clothes?" he said coming inside. "Well, you wanted to do what we always do on the weekends. This is my weekend wear." I said tilting my head. He laughed at me and walked back over to the door walking out. "What the hell?" I said to myself. He walked back in with his regular bag and smiled. "I thought things were gonna change when we started dating. I was a little iffy about bringing my stuff." He said smiling. I shook my head and pushed him towards my bedroom door. "Go do what you have to do, this pizza is getting colder and cold hot wings taste weird." I said as I shut the door in his face. He came out 15 minutes later wearing his old nerdy comfort clothes. I smiled and hugged him. "I've missed this Jamie, but my J is perfect as well." He rolled his eyes and grabbed a slice of pizza and played the movie. We got comfortable and watched the movie until I felt him rubbing my arm. "What are you doing Choi?" I asked hiding a smile. "Huh? Oh, nothing. I was just rubbing your arm. Promise." He said still looking at the television. I looked up at him and bit my lips. I climbed on top of him and kissed him deeply. I felt his hands cling onto my hips and pull me down further on his lap. I broke the kiss for air and laughed. "What?" He asked kissing my neck and biting my ear. "N-nothing. I just never thought I'd be making out with my best friend." I said pulling at his hair and at his bottom lip. He stopped me and backed up. I gave him a confused look and was about to protest before he shook his head. "Wait, do you think we should? I mean, do you think it's the right time?" He asked me, looking deep into my eyes and caressing my face. I nodded and we began kissing again. He pulled my shirt over my head and put a trail of kisses down my chest. I gasped when he unbuckled my bra and grabbed one of my in his mouth in one quick move. He picked me up and wrapped my legs around his waist and walked into my room while still kissing my s. He kicked the door shut and sat down on the bed. "Off. Take this off." I grunted and pulled at his shirt. He pulled it off and my jaws dropped. "When did this happen?" I asked as I took in his body. He had been working out. He wasn't skinny like I was used to, now he had a whole Minho thing going on with his body. "Unf baby." I said as I rubbed my hands up and down his chest. He grabbed my hands and pulled me to him. "My cousins in Korea go to the gym a lot. It was either watch KDramas on TV all day or go with them. You see which I chose. You need to stay off tumblr. You speak in codes now." He said biting my lips. I rolled my eyes and pulled down his pants. I stopped midway and took a deep breath. This is it. No turning back. As soon as his pants hit the floor, the line between best friends has been crossed. Things will never be the same after this. "Ki, you're thinking out loud again. Are you sure you want to do this? We can wait, or we can never do this. Either way, I just want to make sure you don't have any regrets." He said looking into my eyes and holding his pants where they were. My heart began to beat faster as he looked at me. I couldn't believe that he's mine. I pulled his pants down rest of the way and yanked his boxers down as well. "Damn." I whispered. I looked up at him and frowned. "What? What's wrong?" He asked looking down at me. I squinted my eyes and hit him. "OW KIARA! What the hell was that for?" He said frowning. "This! Why didn't I know that you were carrying a freaking python in your boxer shorts! You have to warn a person about these things." I said looking at it. He pushed me back and pulled down my shorts and underwear in one go. He his way up my body and positioned himself between my legs. He rubbed my legs and spread them a little wider. "I'll be gentle. Don't worry baby." He said as he leaned forward to kiss me. I giggled and grabbed his arms for support. "Ready?" He asked me smiling. I nodded and felt him push inside of me. It was painful but I held my discomfort in. "Relax, it'll feel good soon. I promise. If it doesn't, I'll give you my Mario kart snuggie" He said try to make me feel better. I laughed, which caused both of us to hiss. I did as he asked and he slowly eased in some more. Before I knew it, he was all the way in. "I'm gonna go slow, ok?" He said rocking slowly back and forth. I winced in pain and held onto his arms even tighter. He did a quick and I moaned. Whatever he did felt good. The pain started to go away and all I could feel was pleasure. "J-j-j..mmm" I said as he rocked harder. He sat up and pulled my closer and laid his head on mine. "Damn. This. Was. Worth. The...Wait." He said pumping harder. Instead of replying, I began clawing at his back and breathing hard. "Jamie. Oh God, don't stop. Please don't stop." I begged in his ear. He grunted and sat up. He put both of my legs over his shoulders and went deeper. I tried to hold on to him but couldn't so I griped my chest. "Dammit. You feel good baby. Say it. I want to hear you say it." He whispered in a rough voice. I got even more as I looked at him with sweat dripping down his face and his hair a mess. "Mmm...Op...Oppa!" I screamed as he pulled me towards him and stood up. He made me lean across the dresser and spread my legs. He plunged back inside me and pulled my hair. "D...amen. Damn. Damn. I'm gonna..uh!" I gasped as I has my first . He came soon after me. I dropped to the floor and took deep breaths. "Ki, what are you doing?" He said as he lifted me up and laid me on the bed. He pulled the sheets back and got underneath with me by his side. I shuddered as I felt his hand on my thigh. "You ok?" He asked me softly. I nodded and giggled. "I love you Jamie." I said as I laid on his chest. "I love you too Ki." He said as he wrapped his arms around me. "Promise?" I asked holding out my pinky. He looked at it and laughed. "Promise." He said, latching his onto mine and kissing my forehead.
Flashback
"Jamie? What if you and Jess don't work out? Then what?" a 12 year old Kiara asked her best friend. He sat silently for a moment before replying. "I guess I'll just date you. You're the next best thing Ki-ki." He said giving her a hug. She shrugged him off and glared. "I'm not gonna be someone's back up plan Jamie. That's how it is in the movies. The girl best friend always waits for the guy best friend to notice her, and when he does, it's too late. She's either dead or moved away and he's either with the girl or walks away with someone else" She said angrily. He shook his head and smiled. "Not us Ki. If I don't get with Jessica, then it's gonna be me and you for life. You're no one's second choice. I just don't want to ruin our friendship and you beat me up" He said holding her hand. "Promise?" She said holding out her pinky. "Promise" He said, and latched his onto hers.
