The moment that Yonghwa reached the backstage area, he just couldn’t keep that -eating smile off of his face. It had been a long time that he felt that way after performing and he damn loved it. The rest of CN Blue passed by him, patting him on the shoulder and congratulating him for a performance that the fans surely loved. He smiled back, congratulating his groupmates as well, knowing that they themselves played their best for the Incheon Music Wave.

“We did it, oppa!” A very familiar female voice reached his ears and before he knew it, Seohyun was standing before him with a huge smile on her beautiful face. “The fans loved it!”

Yonghwa knew how nervous she was about the performance, wanting to sing well for the fans of the Goguma couple, so he took her hands and squeezed them. “You did really well out there, you know. The fans love you.”

“They love you too, oppa.” She beamed. “You know, I think we should sing more in We Got Married. We can make it our bonding activity or something.”

“That’d be great.” He replied. Way beyond awesome, actually.

Seohyun blushed, noticing how sweet he really was. “I better get going, oppa. The girls are probably looking for me. I’ll see you around, okay?”

“I’ll see you around.” Despite the fact that he wanted to spend more time with her, Yonghwa dropped her hands in order to give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

                Yonghwa watched as she walked away with the smile on his face not faltering one bit. Once Seohyun had disappeared around the corner, he began walking as well to look for his other favorite brunette in the whole world. The CN Blue lead singer wasn’t really surprised when he found her in the buffet area and fortunately, she was the only one there. He could only shake his head in amusement as he watched her pile her plate with all sorts of food.

“Do you really have to eat all the time?”

Sooyoung turned her head and smiled as soon as she saw him. “You’re here!” Putting her plate on a table, she dashed over to him. “I watched the whole thing! I’m so happy for you, Jung Yonghwa! You and Seobaby did fabulous out there.”

He scratched the back of his neck shyly. “Thanks, Soo.”

The leggy brunette arched an eyebrow at her. “I’m waiting for the outburst.”

                Just at the words left , she felt his arms around her waist and he pulled her up from the ground and twirled her in the air in happiness. Though she felt a little dizzy, Sooyoung couldn’t help but laugh along with him. She could definitely feel that he was very happy and she felt happy too. Ever since she got close to him, she understood more just how deep his feelings for Seohyun were.

“Yong, put me down.” She said after a while. “I need details!”

“The fans were screaming so loudly for us!” Though he knew that she watched the performance, he still couldn’t help but pointing it out. “I really felt the spark when we held hands, Soo! Then when we got backstage, she was just as happy as I was and she even suggested that we should sing together more. She was blushing, Soo! She was blushing!”

The shikshin rolled her eyes good naturedly at him. “You sound like a girl who’s madly in love, Jung.”

“Don’t kill my mood, Choi.” He stuck his tongue out at her.

Sooyoung grinned. “I’m really, really happy for you. Looks like you and Seororo are making progress. I really think you have a chance, Yong. I really, really do.”

“Thanks a lot, Soo.” The CN Blue singer smiled genuinely. “You’ve helped me so much and I appreciate it. I wouldn’t know what to do without you.”

“You are too cheesy for my life, Jung Yonghwa!” She laughed heartily.

                Yonghwa rolled his eyes but nonetheless, he stepped closer to her and wrapped his arms around her in a hug. As far as he was concerned, Sooyoung was like a best friend to him already and he really meant it when he said that he wouldn’t know what to do without her. Despite the shock of finding herself in the arms of Jung Yonghwa, Sooyoung snapped out of her daze soon enough to hug the man back, smiling at his blissful happiness. She knew that he deserved to be happy and she was more than willing to make sure that he was.

“Yonghwa? Soo?”

Sooyoung broke the hug and she soon found herself face to face with Cho Kyuhyun. “Oppa…”

“Um…” Kyuhyun swallowed the lump the suddenly formed in his throat. “Uh… I really didn’t know you were close.”

To say that Yonghwa wasn’t fond of the older man was an understatement. Aside from the fact that he was the other half of the SeoKyu couple, he wasn’t really fond of the fact that Sooyoung was often hurting because of him. “She’s actually my best friend, hyung.”

His eyes widened at the sudden revelation. “Oh… I didn’t know that.”

“Oppa, what are you doing here?” Sooyoung asked in an instant, wanting to avoid more awkwardness between the three of them.

“Hyo told me that you went to eat alone.” He answered softly, keeping a straight face. “I wanted to keep you company but it looks like you already have one.”

Then he left.
