Ferris Wheel
Poems and Other Things.Love is like a ferris wheel,
You go in and out,
Up and down,
And it spins you all around,
Once you've been on too many times,
You don't want to go again,
There's way to many memories,
And it brings you to much pain.
Some lucky few reach the top,
And never have to come down,
But for others the ride's less smooth,
And we come crashing to the ground.
You never forget what it feels like,
To be at the very top,
Even after you've gotton off the ride,
And let it all come to a stop.
But the ferris wheel keeps turning,
Whether you choose to climb in or not,
Maybe one day you'll have regrets,
That you didn't hop in at that last stop.
But love is like a ferris wheel,
It goes in and out,
Up and down,
And it spins you all around.
When you've gone on too many times,
You don't want to go again,
There's way to many memories,
And then it brings the pain.
I think it's pretty straightforward...
