Eyes like Windows.

Your eyes are like windows,

I can see the rain dripping down,

Along with the pain,

They fall silently to the ground.

I want to hold you,

Tell you it'll be ok,

But it's not my place,

Not my place today.

Your eyes are like windows,

From within I can see the happiness shine,

But it wasn't me who made it glow,

Your happiness I couldn't call mine.

I want to be the one,

Laughing, standing next to you,

Looking into your eyes,

But it's not my place to.

Your eyes are like windows,

I want to say I love them for what they are,

But it's not my place to,

I'll just have to watch them from afar.

Hey,

This was a poem I just wrote thinking of someone who expresses there feelings through their eyes.

I have no place in their lives to do any of what I said above so I have to watch from afar.

Sad, isn't it?

Oh well, it'll just have to stay that way for today.

Chapter 5: wow..i love these poems. they're pretty straightforward without twisting words that are complex to decipher...yet these poems are sweet n neatly crafted n most importantly, i feel the emotions from it. i like that a lot. and it felt like if i lost ideas/inspiration to write...i could read these and find inspiration/get-away from writer's block. gah, these made me want to go back to poetry writing though mines were nowhere near good/decent...lol.
