“Take a seat beside Sehun” Mr Kim pointed to the empty seat next to mine. Luhan nodded politely and shyly put his bag down. I felt a wave of heat gush up to my cheeks as I waved at him.

“Hi Luhan, remember me?”

“W-Who are you?” What? He doesn't know me? It's not so surprising, it's been 10 years, people change.

“M-Me? I'm-”

“HEY!! STOP TALKING AT THE BACK YOU TWO!!!” Mr Kim threw a marker at me, irritated by the noise. Damn, that hurt... Stupid teacher... Without a care in the world, I continued my daily routine and drifted off to sleep, hiding my head behind the books.

After School

“YAH!! OH SEHUN!! School's over, let's go” I felt a hand land across my face. Idiot Jongin... I rubbed my cheeks, easing the pain as I opened my eyes.

“Damn you guys” I threw a book at his eye, in retaliation. Kyungsoo dragged the both of us out, stopping us from continuing the fight.

“Hey, isn't that Luhan?” Jongin asked, pushing me towards the boy.

“Oh, h-hi” He jumped in shock, greeting me while doing a 90-degree bow.

“Hi Luhan, erm... You really don't recognise me?”

“I do, you're my seatmate from Maths class right? What's your name?” He really didn't know, did he?

“I-I'm Thehun” I replied, letting my lisp out on purpose.

“Nice to meet you” He flashed me his million-dollar smile, stretching out his hand.

“Uhh, thame here” I returned his handshake. “I have to go now, Jongin and Kyungthoo are waiting”

“See you tomorrow” He waved me goodbye, walking out of my sight. How could he not know? The person I have been waiting for my whole life, forgetting me. I sighed, feeling my heart sink. I looked down at the ring, trying to regain composure while catching up with the other two.

“So? How did it go?” Kyungsoo slung his arm over my neck, expecting a positive answer.

“H-He didn't recognise me, but at least I have you guys, right?” I faked a smile, holding back my tears of 10 years. Jongin patted my back, comforting me as we walked back home.

How could he forget me? I was his best friend for 3 years! Even if I look different, he should at least remember my name or lisp... These thoughts flooded my mind, making me more weary by the day.

“Woah, what's happening here?” Jongin questioned. As I stopped in my steps, I looked up, seeing a bunch of movers carrying furniture into the house next to ours.

“Seems like we're having a new neighbour” Kyungsoo answered, turning the door knob as we entered our apartment. I tugged onto Kyungsoo's elbow, making him turn around.

“You guys go ahead, I'll just go downstairs for some bubble tea, you want anything?”

“I-” However, before Jongin could finish his sentence, Kyungsoo pulled him in, shaking his head as he shut the door behind him. “Take as long as you need”

Frankly, I knew the two were together but they just didn't admit it. If you see all their interactions, you might even think they were a loving couple but they couldn't be together because of Kyungsoo's older brother, Joonmyun. The only thing he couldn't stand was his younger brother being taken away from him, especially if that person was an idiot like Jongin.

“One chocolate Bubble Tea please” I put down some money on the counter, placing the cup on a table.

“Mind if I sit here?”

I directed my gaze to the figure in front of me, Luhan...

“S-Sure you can”

“Wow, your lisp is gone” He chuckled under his breath, sipping on his tea.

“What flavour is that?”

“Taro, it's really nice. Wanna try?” He pushed his straw into my face. W-What? I felt my cheeks turn hot pink. He grinned, widening his eyes as he pouted.

“Please?” I shrugged, gulping down a huge amount of Taro Bubble Tea.

“It's kinda nice, but I prefer chocolate” I crossed my arms, taking out my ear phones. Luhan then stood up, swallowing almost half of my bubble tea.

“O-Oh?” I jerked back in surprise as my heart pounded out of my chest. Isn't that an indirect kiss?
