Kris’ POV

The members went home after our drinking session.

We were all too drunk after taking up the drinks and none of us could walk properly except for Lu Han.

Lu Han has a very low alcohol tolerance, hence, he only drinks small amount of alcohol all the time.

Since I was so drunk last night, I even forgot about my wife, Soojin.

Crap. She will probably get mad at me.

Soojin warned me beforehand that if I get drunk, she will not cook for a week.

Like I care. We have maids anyway.

I opened my eyes to see myself lying horribly in our bed.

I looked to the other side only to be greeted by nothing.

Soojin’s not around.

I knew it. She’s mad because I got drunk.

Well, I’ll just tell her that it’s normal besides it only happens rarely.

I washed up after and got ready for school.

I went down to the kitchen to look for Soojin but the maids said she left early.

The maids added that she was not in her uniform which meant she ditched school for today.

I dialed her number but after three rings, I heard a beep sound.

She rejected my call.

Was she that mad or something?

Aish. That girl never failed to agitate me.

Since Soojin skipped school, might as well I skip class.

I dialed her number again and for the second time, she rejected it.

Gah.

I can’t keep calm. Really.

Soojin’s POV

I need a break.

I need a break from everything that has been happening lately.

I am so mad right now and I can’t think properly.

After hearing Kris last night, I immediately ran to our room.

I was not supposed to care. Was I?

But I felt so bad last night. So bad that tears strolled down to my face.

Idiot. That guy is really an idiot.

I may not like Kris as my husband but I really trust him.

He was my only ‘friend’ since we were a kid and despite the fact that we always quarrel, I really do trust him.

But now? I don’t know anymore.

This is so stupid actually.

After an hour of my stupid dilemma, I received a call from Lu Han.

“Hello?” I asked nonchalantly.

“Uhm, Soojin? Can you please help me?”

His tone screamed for help and I knew it right away.

I went down to where the boys were and saw them lying anywhere.

Except for Lu Han.

Wow, he managed not to get drunk.

Clap for Lu Han.

“So hey?” He asked with an unsure look.

I just shook my head then we started helping the guys out.

Lu Han managed to carry some of the guys and after that they left.

The maids cleaned all their mess.

I was left with Kris though.

I looked at his face intently studying his face.

Nothing new.

But you know what? I wanted to punch him hard.

I asked the other helpers to bring Kris to our room.

Kris was sleeping soundly in our bed and I didn’t change his clothes.

He might get mad if I offered him help.

The room was so quiet and I couldn’t help but to feel a little insecure.

I asked him softly.

“ Why are you so stupid?”

I knew it would lead me to nothing so I just let out a heavy sigh and slept in the other room.

I can’t afford to sleep beside someone who thinks being with me is unfortunate.

I woke up in the morning feeling so down.

This is so funny.

I must do something. I must avoid being so upset about what I heard.

Well, this is reality, not some kind of fairytale.

If Kris doesn’t like me, then so what?

It’s not like I will keep it as a big deal because really?

This is so shallow.

I don’t love nor like him anyway.

I was just upset because I trusted him.

I thought things will be okay sooner.

But no.

I decided to went out of the house early.

The maids were up that time and asked me with some questions but I was too lazy to answer them.

I went out and decided to give myself some break.

Break from all the s lately.
