-Am I calling the Cho’s residence? – A deep voice said from the other side of the phone

-I just called for informing you that Cho Kyuhyun had a car crash a few minutes ago- I felt like my surrounding started falling apart. I couldn’t breathe right. I heard the voice on the phone and Heesica calling my name, but I couldn’t manage to say one single word…

-Wookie what’s wrong? – Heesica’s hand on my shoulder made me come back to reality. I covered my mouth with my hand and handed the phone to her. Tears started filling out my eyes. It couldn’t be true; just a few hours ago everything seemed to be so perfect. I wiped away my tears. Heesica listed carefully, shocking her head no and covering with her hand, just like me a few seconds ago.

-Thank you very much. We’re on our way- Heesica said and hung up; just in that second, Hangeng was coming downstairs. He froze when he saw our worried faces and teary eyes

-Yeobo, what’s wrong? – He asked Heesica as he got closer to her and hugged her

-Kyuhyun… he, he had a car accident. A van lost control on the road and hit Kyuhyun’s car… - she explained and bursted in tears afterwards while I couldn’t fight back mines

-Ok calm down- He said to both of us –Ryeowook please tell the boys about this, but don’t tell Ahra; I think it would be better- I nodded

-I’ll take her home, I’m pretty sure she’ll get distracted with Henly- I said and he nodded

-We’ll go to the hospital; we’ll meet you there- Heesica said and grabbed her coat before leaving with Hangeng. In a matter of seconds, I found myself all lone in my now hospitalized boyfriend’s living room. I walked upstairs and got to Leeteuk’s room. I knocked twice and entered; I didn’t have time for waiting

-Leeteuk- I moved him a little bit but I just got a groan from his lips –Leeteuk wake up- Still didn’t move. Now I knew what Kyu meant when he said Leeteuk was a little difficult to wake up. Tears of fear and desperation started appearing –CHO JUNGSOO WAKE UP! – I yelled and he woke up scared

-YAH! What happened? – He asked still scared; but he got even more when he saw my teary eyes –Wookie, what happened? – He asked again, but the stupid pain in my chest didn’t let me speak

-K…Kyuhyun…- I managed to say –He had a car accident and he’s in the hospital…-

-Mwho!? –He opened his eyes wide and got pale –Where are my parents? – He asked and got out of bed before grabbing a pair of pants; it was a lot of worry I had because I didn’t notice he was wearing only boxers

-They’re in their way to the hospital- I said –Your dad asked me to notify you guys but Little Ahra; I’m dropping her at my house…- I said and ran outside his room for going to Heechul’s one. I explained him everything, and he offered himself for explaining everything to Ahra, since the dongseng didn’t believe me when I told her ‘everything was OK’

-Calm down, everything is going to be ok…- Leeteuk tried (and failed) to calm me down –Hyun is really a diehard- he joked but he couldn’t make me laugh. –Wait here- he said and ran upstairs and coming down stairs again with jackets for all of us. He handed me one and, at the moment I grabbed it, Kyu’s sweet and hypnotizing scent invaded my nose, making me let out a few tears. I could hear Heechul and Ahra coming downstairs, so I wiped off the tears and took deep breaths, trying my best to look normal enough

-Where are we going? – Ahra asked

-We will go to the mall because we need to buy a few things and you will go to my home. Do you want to be with Henly? – I asked with a fake smile

-YES! – She said smiling –he can teach me how to play the violin! – I half-smiled at her cuteness

-Ok let’s go- I said and we got in Leeteuk car; he as the driver, me as the passenger and the dongseng in the back seat

-Please hyung let us get there in one piece, arasso? – Heechul teased since Leeteuk wasn’t one of the best drivers I knew

-Ha, ha- Leeteuk laughed sarcastically and tried to turn on the car, but it seemed the Lord was playing us a bad prank, because the car wouldn’t start. Leeteuk whispered a curse and I took out my cell phone for calling the first person I could think of: Yesung. I got out the car followed by Leeteuk, since he told the dongsengs to stay in the car

-Yeoboseyo? – Yesung said from the other side of the line

-Sung…- I managed to say, since I had lost my speech again

-What happened Wookie? – He asked worried at my voice tone

-I need a favor-

-Anything you want-

-Can you pick me up please? –

-Where are you? –

-At Kyu’s house…- I begged the Lord for him not to get mad

-What are you doing there? What did he do to you? –

-Sung… - I started sobbing –Kyu… he… had a car accident and he’s in the hospital…-

-Mwho? –

-Yeah…- I could barely talk because of my tears –Please, I need you to take me and the Cho’s to the hospital; Jungsoo’s car wouldn’t start-

-I need the address- He said and I handed my cell phone to Leeteuk, who gave explanations of how to get to the Cho’s house. In less than 5 minutes, Yesung was already there. Fortunately for me, my tears had already mingled with the rain drops. We all got on Yesung’s car.

-Let’s go to my house first- I said; Yesung nodded and without a word he drove to my house. Ahra and I got out the car

-Umma? – I said when we entered the house

-What happened? – She asked when she saw us

-Ahra, why don’t you go upstairs and look for Henly? – I said with a fake smile and she nodded before running upstairs –Kyuhyun had an accident- I whispered –He’s in the hospital; the Cho’s and I are going to the hospital- I said as tears started rolling down my cheeks again –She doesn’t have to know… yet- I talked about little Ahra. She nodded in shock

-If you need something please call me- she hugged me –You’ll see your boyfriend will be ok- she broke the hug and I ran toward the door, but froze when I notice something. Did she say ‘your boyfriend’? I looked at her. –Henly- she said and I shook my head. –Remind me of cutting the strings of his violin later- I told myself and ran outside

We got to the hospital and the Cho’s and I got out the car and in the hospital, desperately looking for Hangeng and Heesica

-Ok calm down! – Yesung voice made us stop our paranoia and got to the counter, where a nurse was writing something on a paper. Yesung talked to her and came back to us –He’s still in emergency. We have to wait- he pointed the waiting room where Hangeng and Heesica were

-A van passed a red light and hit Kyuhyun’s car making it flip- Hangeng explained us all. Yesung hugged me, action that calmed me down but not completely.

It was near 10pm and we didn’t know anything yet. Doctors and nurses came in and out the surgery room all the time, making me more nervous

-Boys, we need to go; Little Ahra is going to worry- Heesica said. She was right; the dongseng would get really worried. –Any news you get, you call us. Please- She said and left along with Hangeng

-I’ll go to the cafeteria; I need coffee- Leeteuk said getting on his feet –You guys want something? – He asked and I shook my head no

-Do you want to get in here for Anorexia? – Yesung said a little upset. I shook my head no again –Then go downstairs and eat something- He ordered me. I didn’t want to; sure I was hungry, but my worry about Kyu was even bigger –Go with them. I’ll wait here and notify you guys if I get any news- He said and I obeyed, not too convinced.

We got to the cafeteria and Leeteuk ordered 3 coffees and 3 sandwiches; none of us wanted to eat though. We ate in silence and I managed to eat half of the sandwich

-You will not leave until you finish it- Leeteuk talked to me like I was a kid. I death gazed him –Until he finished it- He told Heechul and left. We stayed silent for a while, until Heechul decided to talk

-Last night I told you I wanted to talk to you, remember? – He said. It was unbelievable how his brother was in surgery fighting for his life and he wanted to get advantage of the situation

-You know Heechul? I think…-

-I wanted to apologize- He cut me off

-Mwho? –

-Last night… I wanted to apologize-

-About what? –

-About being such jerk with you- he looked down –It normally worked, but I think this time it didn’t- I couldn’t help but giggle –Besides, it’s obvious that you and Hyung got something special

-Yeah… I think that…-

-HA! I KNEW IT! – He laughed

-A…about what? – I asked nervously

-I got the feeling…- he said  -He wouldn’t stop talking about you and then, Kyu’s down for a whole week without talking about you and yesterday you came home, he wouldn’t stop smiling- he grinded. THE FUDGE? Now everyone knew about us!

-Then why you kept acting like that with me? – I asked –Even last night, it didn’t seem like you wanted to apologize

-It’s fun to make Hyun angry- he smirked –Shall we go? – He said getting on his feet. I nodded. I got to the cashier and ordered 2 coffees; one for me and one for Yesung. Heechul didn’t let me pay for them. He was a nice guy, but like he said ‘sometimes acting like a jerk works’.

-Wookie I think you should go home and rest- Leeteuk said –If there’s something new, we’ll call you- I was tired indeed, but I wanted to stay for Kyu.

-No Leeteuk… I’ll stay until he gets out- I said firmly; I didn’t want him to insist or I could get mad. I looked at Yesung’s wrist, who was deeply asleep on one of the chairs, so as Heechul. Two in the morning and still no news about Kyu.

-Cho Kyuhyun’s family- The doctor said when he entered the waiting room. Leeteuk and I got on our feet immediately and I woke Heechul and Yesung.

-We are- Leeteuk said and we got closer to the doctor. He looked at us and we all got really worried, like the worst part was about to come. Finally, the doctor talked,

-I’m so sorry…-
