Soyeon POV

Today is a lovely day off for us, my members have gone to enjoy this precious day of theirs. Despite the fact that today was a day off, I wasn’t really free for anything. Due to my injury from the case two weeks ago, I had a stack of incomplete reports waiting for me. What a wonderful day off isn’t it?

 There was a light knock on the room door and Jiyeon voice came from the back, “Soyeon unnie can I come in?”

“Yeah sure.” I replied with my eyes glued on the screen.

Jiyeon pop her head out from the door and look at me awhile before she close the door behind her. “Wow, you got so many reports to submit?” She took one of files from the stack and read it. I simply just nodded and pointed at the incomplete files, “I still got so many more to go.”

Jiyeon remain silence and sat on my bed, playing around with my soft toys. I took a quick glance at her, “Jiyeon ah, don’t you have any plans for today? You know, we only have a day off every month. I thought you usually have plans with the mall or the theme park?”

“I don’t feel like going anywhere today, I got tired from all the running around, so I thought staying in the base would be the best choice.” Jiyeon smiled and lied down on her stomach.

“What about the others?”

“Uee unnie went to have a dip in the pool, Nana unnie gone to the boxing ring for a game. As for Hara unnie, I haven’t seen her since the whole morning. She had been acting weirdly this few days, going out early in the morning and coming back late, could something had happen?”

“Maybe she got errands to run or she made new friends? Don’t worry too much Jiyeon; Hara is old enough any way.”

Jiyeon nodded, she turned and stare at me, “Unnie, how long have you been working on this reports?”

Since she mentioned it, I stop and look down at my watch, 14:00pm. Time waits for no man. This really makes sense now. “Don’t tell me you had been sitting there since this morning unnie.” How does she know it? I laughed awkwardly at her, knowing that this maknae of the group is going to start nagging at me, and I was right.

Jiyeon got up from the bed and stomp in front my desk, “Unnie, you haven’t fully recover and you are over working like this? Do you know you are still under medication? Including the complication you had from the injury, you took one whole month to recover previously. This meant that you shouldn’t be doing this.”

I only can smile sheepishly at her, “I’m fine, and I did take my medication regularly. Furthermore, it had been two weeks already, I had recover to the extent that I can start working and use my ability, even the doctor said so.”

I pulled down my cap and look at the rear mirror, coast is clear. I stepped out of the car and head towards the in between of the building. I stopped and scanned the surrounding. My target is the ware house opposite the street. That ware house is one of Amber ‘base’, Gyuri unnie told me that many of her goods were kept in there. If I destroyed it, I complete the task Gyuri unnie gave, and also burn a hole in Amber’s pocket. Burning this ware house is easy, but the only problem was the mission I received in Micrope, I couldn’t kill any of the microne, and gather more information. However, Amber and Krystal keep showing up at this stupid place. This only means that there may be important information in there and I could only burn the place down if they were not around. That will means striking lottery.

Hara caught the cap and look at Nicole, “Wear it.”

Dumbfounded by Nicole’s action, Hara put on the cap as told and walk over. “How long has it been since you notice me? Why do you still give me the chance to follow you? Aren’t you afraid that I will bring you back?”

Hara questions were answered by the silence, Nicole merely smiled at her not even wanting to look at her the second time. “You been coming here for the past few days and you even draw out a floor plan. What are you planning to do with Gust and Speedstar?”

This time round, Nicole laughed at Hara’s question, “Why do you even require me to answer you such dumb question when I thought you can read minds.”

Rage at Nicole’s answer, Hara was determined to explain, but she stops when Nicole wore her hoody cap and turned around, facing Hara with a mirror up in her hand. After a minute she could her rumbling sound of car speeding off, Amber and Krystal are both in the car. This is the miracle Nicole had been waiting for.

The two girls swiftly went pass the guards and walk within the warehouse. The place wasn’t heavily guarded, allowing the two to have easy time entering. Everything in the warehouse are just simply boxes and crate, there’re even machineries for unknown purposes. Nicole and Hara had opened one of the boxes, and it was filled with armory, such as machine guns and even gun powder.

“Stop.” Hara grabbed Nicole’s wrist instinctively and pulled her behind the crates and push her down. Nicole being held down my Hara sudden grip holds her yelp. A group of man in four went pass them, without even noticing the two girls hiding behind, they just walked pass and continued their rounds. Both of them heaved in relief when they lost sight of the guards.

Unknowingly, the two girls work along well with one another. Hara was always alert, ensuring that they were not seen. Nicole on another hand was leading Hara to her ‘destination’.

“There’s someone coming.” Hara whispered.

Nicole look around, there’s nowhere they could hide here. Holding onto Hara’s hand, she dashed forward to the room she saw within her range of her view. She grabbed the door knob and turned it, but to no avail.

“What now? They are coming.” Hara asked impatiently as she watches their back anxiously. Nicole let go of her hand and stood stone in front of the door. “What are you doing? We have to hurry.” Hara whispered with a louder voice this time round, somehow she can’t read Nicole mind, it seems like her mind got blocked out by walls. It is either the room suddenly gotten warmer or Hara is worried of being seen by the guards, pearls of sweat roll down from her forehead.

“Nicole?”

Not answering, Nicole twists the door knob and it opened. “Come on, hurry.” Closing the door behind, Hara enter the room with her widen eyes. They remained silence behind the door, until Hara gave the cue, Nicole start rummaging in the room.

“How did you open the door? And what are you looking for?” Hara also look around the room. The room was particularly neat and tidy, shelves of books, computer desk, and even a couch was fitted in the room. She took one of the photo frames and look at it, in the photo was Amber, Krystal, Yuri and another girl with them whom look like Krystal.

“I break the mechanism of the door to get us in. That means, anyone can enter even if the door is lock.” Nicole boot up the desktop and loud clicking was heard in the quiet room.

“Who are you, really? I knew you save me from Cutter (Jooyeon) that means you weren’t bad guy. Yet you are actually working for Wing (Gyuri). What is your real identity?” Hara stood in front of the desk with both of her arm crossed on her chest, she was giving Nicole her deathly stare, but the younger girl didn’t even budge a bit with her mind totally focused with her computer.

Disappointed with the silence she receive, Hara slump down on the couch. Ever since she met Nicole, she knew that she was special. Although she works with their ‘enemy’, she feels that Nicole was a good person, if it wasn’t Nicole who saved her, she would be meeting with the angels now.

“Hara.” Hara turned around to where the voice came from, Nicole had just plug in her hard drive into the desktop. “I’m really thankful for your help today, but there’re things that you shouldn’t know and it would be better if you don’t know, trust me.” This time round it was Hara keeping her silence; she was trying to understand every bit Nicole was saying.

“For now, just know that I wasn’t a bad guy and it doesn’t mean I’m a good guy too.” Nicole shut down the desktop and reached her hand out to Hara with her eye smile, “Let’s go now.”

--- --- Outside the warehouse --- ---

“Move back a little more,” Nicole push Hara backwards till the distance she was satisfied with.

“What are you going to do?” Hara raised her brows, she have no idea what Nicole’s next step was. “I’m going to burn down this place, so step further, there may be huge explosion, given the amount of gun powder they had.”

Hara nodded understandingly and back out further. Nicole checked again that Hara was at a safety distance before she lit up herself. She started burning the warehouse from outside with fire, which came out like pulse of water, from her palm. (Just like Uee skill) Until she saw that half of the building was swallowed by the flame, she went over to Hara and stood with her. Within minutes, the fire consumed the whole building and explosion could be clearly heard. Nicole covered Hara’s body with hers, as the explosion was far more explosive than they had expected. Several men ran out of the building burnt, while some manage to stay alive.

“Nicole?” Hara called out as she felt the weight over her body gone. She stood up and turned around to see no one along the street.

“Thank you for the trust.” Hara shot up as she read this thought, Nicole had left.

Hara stood at the same place for few seconds and sighed, turning around back to the base.

--- --- Micrope base (Hara’s room) --- ---

Hara dry her hair with the towel and took out her diary.

‘Nicole Jung aka Flamon, this girl actually knew that I had been following her this few days. And I had helped her out by entering the warehouse, which probably had become ashes. This was also the second time both of us team up. Although I wasn’t sure what her motive was, but I knew she is someone special, and I must help her, weird.’

Hara drop her pen and stare at the same page for a moment, her thoughts was filled with Nicole who had been with her today. Interrupting her thoughts, she heard her name behind the door.

“Hara unnie are you asleep? Soyeon unnie wants to talk to you.”

“I got it! Tell her I’ll be there in a minute.”

I apologise to A.S fans here, it seems like i didn't write so much about them :( I will repay A.S reader with the next chapter :)
