I was not prepared to see Minho a second time that day. Although, I couldn't hope to avoid him like I could have this morning at the coffee shop. Thinking back the encounter hadn't gone as I thought or hoped it should have gone. It had been awkward and painful. I had tried to keep my emotions hidden. I had attempted to not let my hurt show. But when Minho said he missed me... I hadn't known what to do or how to react so I ran.

And now there he is perusing the books the next shelf over. Mabe if I just stay here Minho would leave without spotting me. No such luck. Minho had seen me and after hesitating for a moment was heading my way. I felt cornered I wasn't as prepared as I wanted to be. I would want to be well and put together, show him that I was strong enough to move on.

"Hi," he waved at me. I nodded and moved further down pretending to look for a book. He followed.
"Ah, I wanted to talk about this morning." he said his shoulders straightening.
"there is nothing to talk about."
"There is, about what I said-"
"You didn't mean it, it's fine."
"No," he grabbed my arm. "I did mean it." he said looking me in the eyes. I wriggled out of his grasp and broke the eye contact.
"Taemin, I still love you. So much that yes, I am a complete mess without you. Please I'm sorry for what I did and didn't do. I'm sorry I lost sight of you. Please can we try again? Can you give me a chance?"

I was stunned. After these past few weeks of nothing; Minho was suddenly here telling me everything he should have said back then! It made me angry. Did he really think I would be persuaded so easily? Did he think I was stupid?
"why now?" I glared at him. "Why suddenly now?"
"I felt this then! But when you left I thought you needed space."
"Maybe I still do." I said walking away. I seemed to be doing that a lot today.
