She knew him so well, though, that she could read his feelings by his body language: his rigid posture, the angle at which he cocked his chin, the deep furrow in his brow. It was all there: embarrassment, frustration, wounded pride, sadness.
Her own emotions, Soojung realized, were just jumbled and contradictory.
Her heart ached for him, but at the same time, she couldn’t help feeling almost glad that he’d finally toppled from the arrogant pedestal he’d been on for as long as she’d known him.

Jung Soojung and Kim Jongin have been going out for years. Everyone at Yongsan High School thinks they're the perfect couple. Everyone, that is, except Soojung. As far as she's concerned, Jongin's taken her for granted for too long. In fact, she's been looking for the right opportunity to break up with him.
Before Soojung can make her move, Jongin is seriously injured in a car accident. Soojung knows she must stand by him during his recovery, out of duty if not out of love. But Jongin who struggles to get well is so different from the guy she used to know. He's much more sensitive and caring than the old Jongin ever was.
