Sohee's POV

“Sohee unnie… I- mi-mianhaeyo.” My eyes turned into saucers :/

What?

"What?" In case you haven't noticed, I'm ing shellshocked.

"Sohee unnie, I was wrong to have mistrusted you. I, I was... Insecure. You're the cute one out of us two, so I always felt some form of envy around you. Unnie, what I did to you, I never, EVER should have done. Not only did I regret it instantly, but I know now that I was stupid to even listen to Jia's stupidity. I, when your parents kicked you out, believe me when I say that I spent everyday trying to make them bring you back. I- I needed to apologise to you, and I'm sorry it has taken me so long to, but I couldn't find you. Unnie please give me one more chance to prove how sorry I truly am," the sincerity seemed real, her voice even cracked.

"Krystal..." I don't even know what to do or say. What happened next amazed me.

"Let me say sorry, while I'm still breathing."

"Wh-what?" Did she just say 'while I'm still breathing?'

"Sohee unnie, I have cancer," she suddenly sunk to the ground in front of me, her body wracking in sobs.

"Krystal, are- are you-"

"It's t-terminal." Krystal looked at me with a broken face, she really is dy- no. She can't be just yet. Not when she's just apologised to me. No.

"Please tell me it's a sick joke, Krystal..." I whispered, "Please say you're only saying it so I forgive you!" I yelled.

"I wish it was noona, but I was there with her when she found out." We both turned to look at Kris, a sullen look on his face.

"Krystal, how long-"

"They said 3 years, but it depends on my physical strength." The last I remember was both of them calling my name before darkness invaded me.

Heechul's POV

Today was my day off from the station, so I decided to walk around for a bit. The fresh winter air was somewhat bearable today, so I figured I shouldn't stay cooped up in the house. I suddenly craved a coffee, so I swiftly made my way to the cafe I saw last night. Sirens invaded my ears as I rounded the corner to reach the cafe. Wait... they stopped outside the cafe.
