“I missed you” I said while hugging her tight, but nothing came back; the hug or an answer. “Did you hear me? I missed you” I hugged her tighter, but again, she didn’t hug me back.
“I heard you” she said simply.
I thought about asking if she missed me too, but a sudden fear of a negative answer stopped me.
