Shina slowly opened her eyes. She felt her skin burn, so she sat up and realized the sun was shining on her body.
She quickly covered the windows with the curtains.
"No way this is happening..." she told herself.
She saw a piece of paper on the table next to the bed she was on.
Shina picked it up and she read it.

I'm sorry... Please remember to drink the blood that I left on the table... Or else, you will get yourself into trouble...

"Sungkyu.... You ..." Shina clenched her fist and crumpled the paper.
She turned and saw a cup of blood on the table. She held her breath and took a big gulp of blood...
*cough cough* she coughed hard. "I had never drank something this bad before..." she thought.

She walked out of the room, it was really quiet.... Shina had wished her parents were there with her.
Her parents escaped to Japan a year ago... To escape from the debt collector from hunting them down for money.... It was a tragic incident that Shina couldn't forget...

-FLASHBACK-
"Shina!" Shina was doing her homework when her friend suddenly shouted at her, giving her a huge shock.
"Shina! Stop being such a nerd!" She said.
"Oh Yeonmi... I cant afford to fail physics again... I need to make sure that I do well..." Shina said.
"Oh come on..." Yeonmi pouted.
"I need to make my parents glad... I want to master in physics when I go on to college..." Shina said.

"Park Shina, may I please see you?" Ms Kim, Shina's dance teacher called her.
"Yes, Ms Kim?" Shina said and she walked to Ms Kim.
"Congrats Park Shina... You have been selected to represent our school for the dance central judging!" Ms Kim said.
"Really?!" Shina said.
Ms Kim nodded proudly.
"Oh thank you Ms Kim!" Shina gave Ms Kim a hug. "My parents will be so happy that I am selected...."
Shina quickly ran back to the classroom to spread the good news.
"Oh Congrats Shina!" Yeonmi said.
"Thanks guys! Thanks for all your support!" Shina thanked.

Later in the day,
"I am so excited to tell my parents about my physics test score and my acceptance for the dance central judging!" Shina said.
"Oh, you wanna call them now?" Yeonmi asked.
"Oh! Of course!" Shina said and she took out her phone from her bag.

*beep beep* there was no answer.
"There's no answer..." Shina said.
"Why don't you call later?" Yeonmi said.
*ring ring* her phone rang.
"Hello?" Shina answered.
Seconds later, her face dropped. Her facial expression looks very distraught.
"Is there something wrong?" Yeonmi asked.
Shina started shivering and she collapsed to the ground.
"Shina! What happened?" Yeonmi asked.
"No... This can't be happening... My parents... They...." Shina cried.



A year later,
Due to her parents' death, she dropped out of the dance central judging... She isolated herself more often now, but still her friends tries to talk to her and cheer her up.
"Shina, you okay?" Yeonmi said. "Usually you are the one who would be studying during free period... Today, looks like you are spending time being dazed?"
"Nah... I'm just thinking about my parents..." Shina said.
"It's okay... You have me..." Yeonmi said.

"We would like to introduce to you a new student, Sungkyu, please come in!" Ms Kim announced.
Sungkyu came into the classroom with sunglasses on. He quickly ran to the dark corner of the classroom.
"He... Looks..." Yeonmi said.
"Different... Looks like some quiet guy..." Shina said as her heart started beating quickly.
"Sungkyu.... Is definitely not worth it.." Yeonmi said lazily.
Shina continued staring at Sungkyu. He's different from the other guys in the class.
"I wanna say hi to him...." Shina said.
"Bwoh?!" Yeonmi sounded shocked.
Shina stood up and walked towards Sungkyu.
"Hi... Welcome to this school!" Shina said in a friendly way.
Sungkyu looked up and Shina noticed that Sungkyu had fiery red eyes.
"Uh.... Are you okay? Your eyes are red..." Shina said.
"Yes, I am..." Sungkyu said.
