That Morning

*knock knock*

I was in the middle of Lala land when my little brother Shin Seunghyun was breaking down my door. I had no patients for him so I dismissed him by simply saying "come in." He started off my day with his little whine some aegyo. It was more for fun than entertainment on his behalf. I was getting ready to go back to sleep. I didn't want to bother with him. Seunghyun finally spit out what he came to bother me for: "~~~~-ah noona... Lin Minkyu is here!" Minkyu was not happy; it could be heard from a mile away. She said: "I've known you since you were in diapers yet you don't put honorifics on MY name!!!!? Especially when I am older than ~~~~~~~~" They were bickering and so EARLY in the morning! They didn't even give my ears and eyes a chance to adjust to the new day yet they can bellow out.

I found it strangely amusing, and all I could do was laugh til I cried. They stopped their bellowing and nagging enough to look at me and start laughing as well. It was going to be a long day ahead of us.

I quickly got up and went to shower and brush my teeth while Minkyu patiently waited downstairs. When I finally reached downstairs, before even saying a simple good morning she demanded I close my eyes shut tight and put my hands out. I couldn’t help but think ' oh boy what is unnie going to do THIS time???"

She simply placed a piece of thin paper in my hand. My stomach dropped typical Minkyu always setting me up just to bring me back down to earth. I opened my eyes pouting. She suddenly burst out laughing and shrieking in fangirl squeals. I didn't know the reason why and wasn't in the mood to ask either until Minkyu stopped her "moment" and looked at me puzzled. "Omo! Don't tell me you are over Beast!!!!" My eyes made an 0.0 and I looked at my shaking hands. This is why Minkyu unnie was the best! 

Immediately like on some queue or on one of those Punk`d shows my brother and parents came out of nowhere shouting “surprise ~~~~-ah saengil chukha hamnida!” (happy birthday) I didn’t realize it but I had a HUGE dorky smile. I was much too happy to be embarrassed though. “Minkyu unnie you’re daebak!” I shouted while giving her a death hug. All she could manage was a barely audible “you’re welcome.”

Dad handed me a wad of money and looked me sternly in the eyes “in order for my daughter to have the best birthday ever Shin~~~~~~ you MUST spend ALL the money to enjoy yourself.” With that he placed allll that large amount of money in my hands XD

(I could do some serious damage with it. But enough of that I am going to my first ever Beast concert front row back stage passes!!!!!) Kyaaaa~~~~~

Inner fangirl coming out and the concert is not even a thought yet!!!

I was thinking hard and squealing with random faces but Minkyu unnie didn’t notice as she grabbed my armand headed straight for her car. We drove to the mall to buy something presentable. We want to be the most beautiful Beautys for the Beasts x3

“Lin Minkyu!” I shouted from half way across our favorite boutique. She came running immediately with what she had in her hands. We bought everything! “We can mix and match later” she simply told me like it was pish posh. I shrugged and we went on a wild goose chase for the perfect shoes. Of course unnie being herself chose my AND her pair of shoes. “It's just typical unnie” I murmured louder than I expected. She looked at me like I was going to die soon. I gulped loudly and she just laughed hard! Ones again for the second or third time that day I found myself being dragged somewhere. Minkyu said that we only had maybe two hours to get ready considering the concert starts from 5-12 midnight.

We ended up getting ready in only 1 ½ hours giving us extra time to enjoy being early. We were wondering around when I got lost. ‘Curse my ty lack of directions’ I ended up wasting time just getting BACK to our seats! The show had JUST started. Beast came out singing their opening song: Soom.

We were all getting routie all the beautys wanted a piece of Beast and I noticed that I wanted some too. I let my inner fangirl out for the fourth or fifth time that day. This time it wasn’t going to go away that easily.

Beautiful started playing and I couldn’t help but notice Beast were pulling up lucky ladies to be their beautifuls. My heart flinched when my biases Junhyung and Yoseob both picked girls that were dressed beautifully and were prettier than me.  Then a hand poked me. It was Dongwoon. ‘He wanted ME!!!!’ I quickly adjusted to the situation and kept cool. I breathed hard as he helped me up on stage. I couldn’t help but smile like a huge dork; the fangirl I really am slowly starting to show. Dongwoon had been singing beautifully, although he wasn’t my bias he made my heart flutter. This was one of the best nights of my life. After their ending performance he handed me a freshly picked gorgeous flower. ‘If only those things (flowers) didn’t die. I would cherish this forever….’ As I thought about that flower the song ended. The concert has ended with a big blow out. As soon as he let me down Minkyu screamed out “you lucky button! With a pretty face like mine *pouts* I should have been chosen! I KNEW I shouldn’t have done your makeup.” With that she flashed me a smile and grabbed me again. (for the sixth time??? I lost count. But point is for the plenty-ith time that day.)  We still have backstage she mouthed.
