Day 239
“LALALA,” I grunted at hearing obnoxious singing in the room. I took my pillow from behind my back and lazily threw it at the stranger.
“OW. KEV!” It was Xander, of course.
I was wide awake now, to no surprise, so we began chatting. His visit went by awfully fast and I was honestly upset to see him leave so soon.
“Sorry lovah~ Work I gotta do. Talk to you later sweetie!” He mewed. I hate when he acted cute…
“Bye~” I waved at him, giving him my best aegyo yet. He smiled and soon departed. Alexander left me bored and alone…
“Hmm… I suppose I’ll just walk around…for a little while…”
I cautiously removed the plugs and wires, careful not to set off any buzzers this time, and took out any needles.
It was very seldom I was let to walk in the hospital garden, but today was an exception. My specific nurses were on a different floor this specific day helping someone in dire need of more help. So I took advantage of the situation and allowed myself some free time.
The breeze felt magnificent. What was left of my hair was being pushed around by the calming wind. The air wasn’t too cold nor too warm, but just right for me. I sat on a nearby bench and watched the fountain, and animals near it.
My smile soon grew large, as it was the first time in a long time I enjoyed myself outside my room. The little things in life made me happy, and that was just alright.
I soon saw a nurse look out the window and she had spotted me.
“…” I shuffled indoors and quickly into the elevator. I made my way to my room ad slowly redid all of the machinery and needles. Just in time.
“If Kevin isn’t here I swear…KEV-”
“Why are you shouting at me? I’m trying to sleep Lucy…now would you please-”
“Sorry Kevin, my mistake…” She said. Her face clearly showed how confused she really was. I giggled to myself.
“Why am I so witty?”

The night went by slow, and even Kiseop came for a visit. Kiseop was a very good friend, and one of my first crushes to be honest…
Seeing him now, as friends, was awkward yes, but settling. He brought me books to read and puzzles to do. I just love puzzles…sometimes.
We ate dinner together and watched a drama he has been telling me about. It was a very fun visit shockingly.
After Kiseop had left I found a piece of grass in my bed.
I smiled at it.
I smiled at grass…
And the little things in life make me happy…
And that was just alright.
