Donghae’s POV

So today is her birthday and I’m planning to give her a surprise, I remember last year, it was painful yet lovely experience because somehow that time, she slowly open her heart to me and now this year, I hoping that it will going to have a same result that she opens and give me a chance to make her remember me

The moment I wake up that Thursday morning, I felt very giddy, even though how much I tried I won’t let anyone stop me to prove myself to her, how much she means to me, how much she completes my life

I got my phone and texted everyone to come later at the restaurant I booked, the Italian restaurant we both like and the favorite place we like to hang out, that place is special because that place somehow would make her remember our good and bad memories together, the memories that make us stronger

I got my keys when I heard KyuHyun asked where I was going to

“I was going to check the venue for Jessica’s party…” I said to him with a smile

“You need help?” he asked before he sipped his coffee

“Ani, I can handle this, I wanted to be hands on with my surprise to her…” I said before I walked out of the dorm

I rode to my car and revved up, I was humming with the song reflection by Nell that was played in the radio, the song gives me a light feeling, and this day is going to be great

As I got to my destination, I parked my car and went down, I hurriedly went to the entrance and I saw the manager who always assists us whenever we dine in here

“Mr. Lee, ready for today?” Mr. Geum asked me as he leads the way inside of the restaurant

“Yeah, only for my lady love…” I said with suave as I heard a like chuckle from ahjusshi

“So here we are Mr. Lee, all of the things you order are here, are you with someone who’s going to help you to decorate the place?” he asked as he put the boxes of confetti, balloons and other things needed

I placed my hands on both sides of my hips and proudly say “I‘ll do it alone…”

“Love can really make anyone crazy…” Mr. Geum joked as he helps me unload the things in the box

“No, ahjusshi, Love can make anyone dedicated….” I said with a smile before proceeding in my plan

A light tapped fell on my shoulder as I turned around I saw ahjusshi with a smile “I know you can make it. I leave you alone then…” then I started to work

It was almost lunch when I finished decoration the venue, from inflating the balloons, to hanging the other decorations, adjusting the lights and fixing the tables you name it, I t was all done by me, although beads of sweats dripping from my forehead, but whenever I looked from my accomplishment, everything paid off just for Jessica

I left the place and told ahjusshi to take a look if something is still unfix or missing and immediately make a call for me to check it out after I freshen up back from the dorm

But good thing there isn’t, I slumped myself in the sofa once I arrived, EunHyuk sat beside me

“Seems that Ironman is tired.” Eunhyuk said as he handed me a bottle of water

Hearing something good from EunHyuk for the first time give me a good idea

“Ironman….Ironman…Hmmmm…” I said as I brushed my chin with my fingers

I looked at him and give him a hug “You’re a genius thanks man!!! Charanda!!!”

I ran back to my room and bathe, I must prepare my additional surprise quickly

“Sica-chu, be ready for my surprise…” I said happily

Jessica’s POV

I was at the kitchen dorm, sitting one of the tall stools, munching Tiffany’s ever tasty French toast

“What’s seems to bother our Barbie?” Sunny said as she sat beside me

“Nothing…” I lied

“Oh, come on…tell me… “She said with her punching call Aegyo

“Araso, are you forgetting something?” I asked with my puppy eyes

“Me, nothing. Why?” she acted perfectly

“Araso, I guess, I might celebrate alone today…” she said in an audible tone but still Sunny and Tiffany can hear it, they are hiding their laughter very hard

Little that she knows the pretending and clueless SNSD remembers are just acting, it was all related to DongHae’s surprise to her

“I’m just going to take a bath…” she said as she didn’t finished her food

Sunny and Tiffany felt so sorry for her for making her feel bad but they know after this she is going to be happy because of the surprise

As she met SeoHyun in the living room “Do you know what day is today?”

“hhhmmm???? I know…” SeohYun said delightedly

“jinja?” Jessica asked as her eyes kept sparkling

“I have a date with Kyu oppa…” she said as both of her hand clasped together in excitement

She let out a sighed because of disappointment

She asked the other girls but still no one‘s remember her birthday

“Omo!!! My first day of my monthly period.” Yoona exclaimed as she run in the bathroom

“I have extra pads” Jessica concernedly informs Yoona

“Special Yoga class… I think?” Yuri said as she went inside the room and silently laughed there seeing Jessica’s expression

“I wanna come but I’m not bendy enough…” Jessica thought

“Script revewing for my upcoming drama.” SooYoung said as she munched her French toast

“Good luck with your drama in advance…” as she chew on SooYoung’s toast

“Bonding date with Min, wanna come?” HyoHyeon invited her

“I rather sleep thanks by the way…” she said as sulk down in the couch sitting beside

TaeYeon was watching a random drama “Something’s wrong Jess?”

“Taeyeonnie, do you remember what’s…” she said but she was cut off because TaeYeon’s phone rings

“Yoboseyo?” she greeted

“Is she awake?” DongHae asked

“Neh. Neh~ ah, another OST?” she pretended

“So she is beside you?” dongHae conclude

“Neh. Araso I’ll go ASAP in the agency for the meeting.”  She lied because Jessica was sitting beside her

“Okay, take good care of her.” DongHae reminded

“Araso…” she bid goodbye

After their conversation, she went back to Jessica” What are you asking again, Sica?”

“Nothing. Nothing…I’ll just go back to my room…take care…” she said as she give TaeYeon a hug before she went in to her room

Being depress Jessica just stay in her room the whole afternoon, her members went to their respective so called fake schedules, little that she knows her member s are already in the venue of her birthday celebration. While lazily lying down in her bed, she heard the doorbell rang; she quickly got up expecting that it was her members holding a cake surprising her but she was more surprise seeing an unexpected weird guest

“I…I…Ironman?” she muttered to herself

Ironman chuckled seeing her cute puzzled look, he was holding a white board and a marker, and he decided not to talk for him not to blow up his cover and surprise

“지금 자신을 수정, 난 당신 공주를 위해 선물을 준비 했어 (fix yourself now, I have a surprise for you princess…)” he wrote

Jessica got ready and Ironman lead the way, Jessica is spied up herself to be not notice by fans

“Ironman? Where are we going?” she asked as him while looking at their intertwined hands, although she doesn’t know who is behind this costume but she felt safe and warm with whoever he is

Until they arrived I n their destination, the place somewhat familiar to her, vivid memories play in her mind, she saw a man and a woman cheerfully taking their dinner but she can’t see their faces

Donghae saw her forehead form cringes; he knew she was remembering things

“Gwenchana?” he wrote to the board

She nod and asked “should we go in?” and DongHae led the way

But before they enter, DongHae blindfolded her first; Jessica blushed in their postion, too close, she guess?

Slowly they made their way in, everyone was there holding balloons, party popper, confetti and party hats, and excitement filled their faces

And now DongHae slowly untie her blindfold, her vision first was blurry and when it was all okay, a chorus of happy birthday awaits for her

She started to cry, she looked everyone in their eyes, although she can’t remember these people at first, but she can feel their effort, to bring back what is lost, she muttered thank you to her

Members. SuJu oppas. Dongsaengs. Everyone that is important to her.

But there is someone missing, the person she thinks done these things just for her, DongHae, he wasn’t there

She turned to Ironman and was about to asked him, if he knew where DongHae was

And slowly, Ironman took off his mask and revealed his true identity

“Happy birthday, princess! “ he greeted her with a smile

Jessica felt silent, how can a man be this lovable, even though she pushes him for how many times but still here he is, giving his full effort and love to her

Slowly she move closer and reaching to his face with her small hands, she cupped it and made him looked in her eyes

“DongHae-ah, gumawo…” she said with her tears falling off from her eyes

DongHae smiled to her while patting her head when Jessica gave him a kiss on the cheek

The world stops.

It was like just the two of them.

Like lost in their own world.

Loud cheers and teases bring them back to reality

“Let’s start the party?” DongHae asked as he scratches his nape because of embarrassment

“Neh.” Jessica agreed while still blushing

They started to party. DongHae’s eyes are always on her, watching how happy she is until someone approached him

“Oppa?” the voice called

From a far, Jessica looked at DongHae and saw him talking to someone, and seeing them made her heart feel a twinge of pain in her heart, that somehow she felt that part of her lost memory
