I sat down across from the guys, hands folded neatly on the table before me. 

"So...whats your story?" I asked, getting straight to the point. 

MM answered first. "I'm Hyunseung, BEAST's best fighter." He said proudly. I gave him a blank look.

"You know? We're a gang? I was trying to kill JR," he smiled at me brightly.

"And he failed," JR said snidely. Hyunseung glared, but didn't move to attack. 

"How..pleasant?" I tried.

"But I didn't know he had a roommate, let alone one so pretty," he smiled charmingly. I blushed, and JR growled.

"Why are your gangs fighting?" I got the feeling that I shouldn't have asked. 

"They-" JR pointed at Hyunseung, "were trading weapons on our territory." 

"We were not! It obviously belongs to BEAST!" JR growled, and I put my hand up to stop them.

"Please, Gentlemen." Hyunseung frowned.

"There is NOTHING gentle about him. Didn't you see him beat me up? Didn't you see-" JR glared harder. I rolled my eyes.

"Listen you two. There will be no fighting in this dorm, or I'll kick you both out." I pouted slightly. "I hate violence."

"I'm sorry, Pretty. But thats just what we do." He shrugged. I got up from my seat, and walked to the fridge, grabbing a bottle of water. 

"Please do not do it in my dorm."

"Why? You sueamish?" JR smirked, and I frowned. "No. I just really don't like violence. Thats all." JR gave me a doubtful look, but moved on. 

"I'm going to find NU'EST." He said before leaving.

"Quite the charmer you have there. Hey Miss, would you like to come out for bubble tea with me? To thank you for saving me?" He looked at me with his big doe eys, pleading, and I cracked.

"Sure. Where's the harm in that?"

After we had bubble tea, Hyunseung tugged me to a near by park, where we sat on the swings and talked.

"I'm from a six member gang," he said proudly.

"Oh. Are you all really close? NU'EST are close." I tilted my head, being polite. 

"Oh yeah. We're like brothers. There's Yoseob, DOngwoon, DooJoon, Junhyung, Kikwang, and me. We always have eachother's backs. Like a great big family!" He beamed. 

"Cool. I have eight brothers. Kevin, Eli, Xander, Kibum, AJ, Soohyun, Dongho, and Hoon. They raised me." I returned his smile.

"No way! You grew up with all those boys? Where are your parents?" I shut down a mental wall at the question. "Where are yours?" I returned.

"Don't got none." I raised an eyebrow at his grammar. "My parents dropped me off in an alley outside the orphanage. Same with most guys who end up like me."

"Gangsters?"

"No. Independent. Even with a gang, I don't rely on them for much." I frowned. 

"You should let people help you." I said softly.

"Maybe. Maybe." His smile grew even more. "I like you. You're great." 

And I liked him as well. Stupid gangster. Why are they so nice?
