“Okay. How did I end up here again?” I sighed as I slouched my body on the seat, turning my head around absorbing

my surroundings here at Incheon airport.

 

*Flashback*

“It’s your grandmother’s wish.” Uhm what? I haven’t even met my grandmother why would she wish something for me??

“She told me to give my successor the opportunity to experience a normal life. And that’s what I’m trying to give you

Dara. But it’s only for 6 months. You know I have to pass down the position to you by May right? And you do know

there are many preparations so it’ll take time. I’m not getting any younger Dara.” Funny. I think I told that to myself a

while ago.

 

“I understand grandfather.”

 

“Go have fun. But please minimize your fun. I don’t want to see my granddaughter’s face on the headline news of

Korea okay?” He chuckled and I winked at him. I won’t be getting into petty fights with thugs there anyway. Well,

hopefully I won’t. At the most I’ll just be seen in street racing or other drag racing. Not too bad.

 

“You’ll leave tomorrow morning. And your things has already been prepared. Oh right, call your cousin Bom before you

leave okay?” BOMMIE! Ohmygod I miss that cousin of mine! I wonder how she is. We haven’t talked for a few months

already. She’s been busy and I’ve been too. Oh well, I have 6 whole months to be with her! Yaaaay~!

“Maybe I should get someone to look after you. But that would be against the conditions of the promise. You should

bring weapons. I’ll personally prepare your weapons then. I should put a gun. A Katana.. what else? A bo-” Oh here

goes the mother hen.

 

“That would totally set the alarms of the airport into a rampage don’t you think?” I took a sip from my tea and glanced

at him.

 

“But I’m really worried Dara.”

 

“I’ll call you if something happens and I could bring a few guns? 3 guns. And how bout 2 micro bombs? I’m gonna be

fine with those.” SERIOUSLY! I’m gonna be more than fine with those! If I bring all those things he wants me to bring

then I would look like I’m on a mission to sweep off a whole gang!

 

“Okay then. Call me when you think something is suspicious. And that’s an order Dara.” He strictly commanded. 

 

 “Yes Ojii-chamaaaa~” I playfully answered while getting up and giving him a hug.

 

“See you after 6 months kumicho.” I waved before leaving the room.

 

*end*

 

I’m waiting for Ryu. He just had to talk to the owner of the apartment building where I’ll be staying. The owner’s a

good friend of my father and he knows my background so maybe it’ll be okay if he suddenly gets phone calls of

frightened tenants saying there are scary looking men looming around the area who are probably assassins out to get

me. HAHAHA! Their looks are gonna be priceless!!

 

“Oujo.The movers will just bring your things to your unit. Let’s go.” Ryu bowed at me.

 

“Did you bring my car?” I asked while walking out.

 

“Yes Oujo.” He then handed me the keys. Cool choice. I was really planning on bringing this Lotus Elise Series 2. Ryu

really knows me well.

 

“Where is it again??” I asked before stepping in my car.

 

“It’s already entered in the GPS. Please drive safely.” He answered and gave me a strict look.

 

“Sure Ryu. You know I ALWAYS drive safely.” I winked at him then drove off. He had to leave immediately so he didn’t

bother sending me to my apartment. I’m perfectly cool with that though. It’s been a while since I last went here.

Maybe I should drive slowly while taking in my surroundings.

 

 

 

 

 

Jiyong’s POV

 

*You’re my ha-ha-ha-ha heartbreaker*

 

Uggh. Who’s calling me at this hour?? It’s just 9 am damn it! I lazily reached for my phone not bothering to open my

eyes. My head hurts like hell. I hate hangovers.

 

“Hello?” I grumpily greeted the person on the other line.

 

“Yah Jiyong! Where are you?” Top hyung answered obviously ticked off.

 

“What?” Now I’m confused. Do we have rehearsals today? No… Recording? No.. We haven’t finished the songs yet.

Photoshoot? I don’t think so.. Interview? Nooo. Oh wait. Of course there won’t be. We’re in a fcking vacation!

 

“What do you mean what?! Everyone’s here already! And we’re taking off in 5 minutes!” My eyes opened immediately.

. How could I forget?!! We were supposed to go to Okinawa for our vacation today! FCK! I haven’t even packed

my things!

 

“Jiyong?? Jiyong? Hey you still there? Anyway, just follow us here when you-” The call was cut off.

 

“Hello? Hyung?” Okay. Great. Just great. When I said I can finally relax, I got caught in this bad luck. I feel like

something really bad is coming my way. Whatever. I sound like a superstitious old man. I got up my bed and took a

shower. Maybe going to the mall and shopping would help me ease this disappointment eating me up.

 

 

 

 

Dara’s POV

 

I parked my car infront of the big apartment unit. Wow. This place is like really big! I leaned at the front of my car to

stare at the tall building and marvel at its beauty. It sure looks so high class. This place screams I’ll eat your money real

bad! I shook my head and smiled. I can’t mess up this place. I better be in my best behavior. I got my bag inside my

car then walked to the entrance when a man bumped me.

 

“Oh sorry.” He apologized with a bit of annoyance in his voice and continued walking. O-kaaay talk about rude much!

People these days!

 

“It’s cool.” I mumbled and glanced back at him. Oh hot ride!! And now that I can see him properly, he sure is hot too.

Hot man and Hot ride. Very nice combination. I grinned then halted when I saw his phone on the ground. We have the

same phone. What a coincidence. I guess I can play with Mr. Hotness for a while. I picked it up and went to my unit

which is thankfully, on the first floor.

 

“113….” Oh there it is. It’s not that quite hard to find. It’s NOT because the boxes infront of my door are really many.

NOT because they are really big! And lastly, NOT because my name is written so  big on the boxes  in Japanese and

WHY THE HELL IS THE SEAL OF THE FAMILY HERE?! I clicked my tongue and opened the door of my unit not bothering

to absorb how big and great the place is and started pushing the boxes inside. After putting everything in place which

was really hard, I collapsed at my sofa and stared at the ceiling. Then I suddenly remembered Mr. Hotness this

morning. I wonder what floor and room he is. Kekekeke Thunder, my Himalayan cat jumped on top of my tummy

detaching me from my dreaming world and looked at me. I smiled at him before putting him down. I better call

Bommie now. I almost forgot. I grabbed my bag and dialed Bom’s number.

 

“DARA?!!! KYAAAA~!! SSANTOKI!!! IT’S BEEN A WHILE!!!” She squealed like a fangirl. Ohmygosh I think my eardrums died

already. Trust Bom to assure the death of your earbuddies.

 

“Bommie~ Stop shouting I’ll turn deaf.” I chuckled.

 

“kekekeke. I just missed you! What’s up girl? Why the sudden phonecall?” Oh so I’m not allowed to call anytime now?

PSSSHHH~

 

“I’m here in Korea.” There was silence in both lines. See? She’s shocked too! Everybody is!! My grandfather is just so

unpredictable at times!

 

“Dara? You’re what?” She broke the silence.

 

“I’m here in Korea Bom. I’ll stay for 6 months.” I answered nonchalantly and looked at my window.

 

“Are they hunting you??” She whispered. HAHA! Okay. Maybe she thought I got thrown out for the mean time because I

got in trouble.

 

“HAHA! No! Grandfather said it’s a vacation.” I explained. I can feel her narrowing her eyes… I knew it. I at hiding.

And she just totally excels in reading through me.

 

“I know there’s more to it. And you woman will tell me everything next week when I get back to Korea.” She’s not

really gonna let this go would she?

 

“Sure. Oh are you on a whole week get away with Tabi?” I teased. HAHA! Yes I love teasing them. I met and befriended

TOP in a drag racing event cause I thought he’ll be racing with us. He said he’s just watching though. It just happened

that Bom went to japan for a vacation and wanted to watch how I race. That’s where they met. Well, surely they’ll talk

to each other seeing they’re the only Koreans there. I don’t know what happened next but since they’re in a

relationship now, I guess they hooked up after the race. And they left pretty-y-cute-loveable-but-single-lonely

me while they go and have fun by themselves. WHAT FRIEND AND COUSIN THEY ARE!

 

“Yes and with other friends. I’ll introduce them to you when we get back. I’ll crash on your place! Oh gotta go. See you

next week Dara and please my cousin dear, pleaseeee. BEHAVE.” She cut the call before I could respond. OKAY! What

the hell is up with people always telling me to behave? I sighed. I looked at the clock to find that it’s already 7 pm.  I’m

hungry. I don’t know how to cook.

 

“I guess I gotta say hello convenience store and hello ramen.” I grabbed my purse and called thunder. That’s weird. He

usually goes to me when I call him.

 

"Where the heck is my cat?? Thunder~!!!" Jeesh I looked everywhere already.. Where is--- oh!! there he is!! 

 

"Thunder come-" OHMYGOD! IS THAT MY MICRO BOMB?!!! FCK!!! DAMN CAT! OH . DID HE THINK IT'S A BALL?!!

FCK!!! Wait Dara. Calm down.. Calm down...

 

"Thundeeeeer~" I called my cat with the sweetest voice i could muster right now which is. SO NOT SWEET!! My voice

was laced with nervousness!! GAAAAH!! Oh wait i think it worked. Ha! He's looking at me!! good!! Now think of the

next step Dara... Make him come to you.. 

 

"Thun-" GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE BOMB IS FALLING!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAMN YOU CAT!!! 

 

In a matter of 3 seconds, there was smoke, there was scattered pieces of glass and cement, my room is a mess and.

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! THERE IS A HOLE IN THE WALL THAT DIVIDES MY UNIT TO MY NEIGHBOR'S UNIT!!!!! Let me die

now please??

 

I squatted on the floor and looked at the mess infront of me. PERFECT! It hasn’t even been a day since I got here and

this is what happens. OHMYGOSH! What should I do?? I need to at least have something to cover that hole…. WAH!

That's a great idea! I’ll just push the cabinet there! Good job Dara! You’re such a genius! I mentally patted my back for

a wonderful idea and went to the cabinet to push it. And with one push, all the relief and happiness I momentarily had

flew away while laughing at my stupefied face. It was a built in cabinet. And I can’t fcking push it thank you very much.

DAMN ITTTTTT! WHAT NOW?!!! I went back to squatting when my cat meowed at my side and rubbed his face on my

leg.

 

“Shut it cat.” I growled and glared at him. He just tilted his head and walked away. I sighed and stared at the disaster. I

looked at the table and saw my phone. As much as I hate to do this. I guess I really need help from Ryu. He’ll know

what to do. I’ll just send him a picture of this mess. Then I’ll talk to my neighbor and wait for the people who will clean

this up. I grabbed my phone and stood up to find the perfect angle to show the whole hole.

 

 

I think this view is okay already. Yep. I think I’ll be a great photographer fufufu. I was about to click the button (a/n:

what do you call that thing you push when you take a picture? XD) when a man opened the door of his bathroom which

was exactly parallel of the hole I made. We stood there. Frozen. Staring at each other with horrified faces. HOLY

SHIIIIT! IT’S FCKING MR HOTNESS!!! HIS RANK JUST JUMPED UP FROM HOTNESS TO HOTNESS INESS OVARY EXPLODING

SON OF A BTCH!!!!! I traveled my eyes down to his neck, chest, y tummy and…. HOLY FCKERY! HE’S GODDAMN

!!!! NOT REALLY BUT GAH!!!!! HE’S ONLY WEARING BOXERS AND HIS EVIDENT IS JUST TOO BIG TO

IGNORE!!! Oh hey it's calling me. Hello there bulge~ Kekeke WHAAAA- NONONONONO!  SANDARA PARK! STOP ACTING

LIKE A ERT!!

 

 At the middle of our staring contest (which is by the way him staring at my head and me staring at his ohlala) and my

internal battle to keep my sanity in place, a chi-ching sound was heard. My head snapped to his face and saw him

looking at me with wide eyes. Then it dawned to me. OH NO. HELL NO! DID I JUST? OHMYGOOOOOOD~! STUPID FINGER

STOP USING YOUR OWN MIND!!!

 

“KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!” I screamed, closed my eyes tightly and unconsciously threw my phone. Then there

was an oof and a blag. I opened my eyes to see the ovary exploding son of a lying on the floor conscious but

looking dizzy and a bloody nose. OHGOD. I just threw my phone at his face! I hurriedly went to his side to help him.

 

“Are you okay?” Oh Dara~ YES HE IS!! HE'S TOTALLY OKAY! After all he just got a bleeding nose right?? OHMYGOD! My

first day is already a mess!!!! Will I survive for six months?!!!
