Cute Character Chart
Wallflower Tutorials [ G I M P - GRAPHIC C O N T E S T OPEN]
Original size is 600x500
Today's lesson is designing your own character chart! It can be in many types of shapes of couse but what we're doing today is that one up there! It features Block B cause I love them , lol okay let's start! (: I still at character charts, sorry!
Open a new canvas with a scale of 600x500. Then select a part of the bottom part with a rectangle select tool and color it with any color you want using the bucket fill tool. But here, I use green. I don't know why.
One thing, let only one part of the character chart be a solid color and the other a texture or something. Like so.
Then you look for your character's pictures. Here, I used a png of an ulzzang and used a lasso tool for Zico. I've also added textures and a thingy there I forgot what it's called.
Then you add the other characters. I've added the rest of Block B. Make sure that all of them are the same size and are arranged neatly.
Now it's time to add the names and title, creator, quote and author! Just a reminder, don't use too many different fonts. most probably not more than 2 or 3. Also, I've added another texture lol.
To me it looked empty....so I've added domo kun!! So cute ><

Tips
Don't use too many fonts. Don't make your character chart look too full. Try using textures and play with modes. To deal with a blur image : Duplicate the same image > Put it on the previous image > Set mode to overlay > Change to any opacity level.
