The breakup
With my girlfriend right nowJiyong's phone had been ringing non stop for 2 hours straight. He ran from across the room to pick it up."Hello?...oh
yes of course...haha ok...talk to you soon." He walked into, now both his and Sohee's bedroom and put on his jacket.
She walked in and leaned against the door frame and watched him dress. "Was that the same person thats been calling
all morning oppa?" He nodded as he put on his boots. "Who was it?" she asked curiously. He stood up and walked over
to her, "A friend. We're meeting in a bit so I'm heading out now. Be back in a little while." He kissed her forehead and
left the apartment. She shrugged her shoulders and walked into the living to sit on the couch. "Wonder who he's
meeting with. Probably Seungri oppa." She the tv to try and entertain her slef. Suddenly, she heard a loud
ringing. She turned her head and saw Jiyong's phone sitting next to her. "Oh he left his phone. Should I...?" She was
debating whether or not she should answer it. "Nah, he wouldn't like me going through his personal stuff." she let the
phone ring as she watched tv. Not even 3 seconds after the phone stopped ringing, he got a text. "Ugh, I can't hear
the tv with all these sounds." She picked up the phone and read the text message.
~Oppa, can't wait to see you. Your girlfriend doesn't know you're coming over right?~
Her jaw dropped as she read the text. "W-what is this? Is he...cheating on me?" She read it over and over again to try
and make some sense of it. "I can't believe this."
A few hours passed and Sohee sat on the couch, waiting for Jiyong to get home. Finally the door opened. Jiyong smiled
at her. "Hi nabi." He noticed her expression was blank as she looked at the tv that wasn't on. "What's wrong? Are you
feeling ok?" He asked concerned and put his hand on her face to check her temperature. She hit his hand away and
threw his phone on his lap. "Who is she?" she quietly said, not looking him in the eyes. He was confused as he looked
at her. "What are you talking about? Who?" That's when she snapped. "Don't play dumb with me you bastard! Who's
the you're cheating on me with?!" His eyes widened and he held up his hands.
'"No one. I would never cheat on you."
"You liar! I saw the damn text she sent you!"
"Huh? Text?" he picked up his phone and looked at the message she was referring too. "It's not what is looks like
nabi."
She slapped him. "Don't call me that! I want you out, we're over." She stood up and started walking to their room.
Before she could make it in, he grabbed her arm and forced her to look at him. "Will you just listen to me please." He
said with tears in his eyes.
"I wasn't cheating on you I swear."
"Then what were you doing with that girl?"
"I...I can't tell you yet."
She pushed him off and started putting all his clothes in a suitcase. "You're the best bull ter ever. You can't even
tell me what you were doing." she franticly stuffed his clothes, not wanting to deal with his talking anymore. He
grabbed her again, pulling her to his side.
"Fine. You want to know what I was doing with her?" He ripped off his shirt to show her the giant bandaid that was
sitting on his chest. He tore off the bandages and revealed his, still very bloody, tattoo. It was a black butterfly with
sharp, beautiful wings. Under it had her name in old English print. "That girl was a tattoo artist. I was going to wait
until I proposed to you to show it. She knew I was going to surprise you with it." Tears were running all down his face
now.
She was speechless.
"Oppa...I-"
"Forget it. If you can't trust me then I guess there's nothing left for us." He took the bag she had been packing and
started walking towards the door. She ran after him and grabbed on to his arm. "Oppa please don't go. I'm so sorry. I
didn't know." he pulled away from her, put his phone in his pocket, and opened the door. "Goodbye Sohee."
Sohee tossed in her bed. "Ugh, those memories again." She looked over at the clock and much to her horror, it was
already 1 in the morning. She sighed, "I'm gonna have bags under my eyes when I wake up." She shut her eyes tightly
and tried to go to sleep but as soon as she did, Jiyong's face popped up in her head. She sat straight up and frowned.
"I can't take this anymore." She reached for her cell phone and scrolled down to Jiyong's name.
