“Oo na.” napabuntong-hininga na lang siya habang pasan-pasan siya ni Chanyeol sa likod. The heavy rain had left the trail home with flood and a lot of mud. “Ako na mabigat.”
The latter cleared his throat before giving the usual vague reply, “Wala naman akong sinasabi—”
“Alam ko naman, Chanyeol eh.” He really wanted to laugh right now, but he deemed it simply was not right for him to do so. Being a student counselor proved to have gained him the virtue of moderation.
So then, there was silence. Again.
She really hates the attention that she’s getting right now because of this boy. She hates the feeling of being intimidated of all things, and it is everything she’s getting at this moment. People have been staring as they walked (or Chanyeol at least had been doing so for the both of them) home. The girls, especially, kept giving her either piercing stares or awed expressions as she seemed nothing special and on the other hand the guy she’s with—the guy, who was carrying her on his back—was simply perfect.
“Oo na.” she sighs again, giving up on observing their surroundings. “Ikaw na perfect.”
Para hindi naman awkward, hinayaan na lang rin ni Chanyeol ang sarili niya na matawa nang konti. “Uh…will you be making bitter comments until we arrive at your house?”
“Oo na.” sabi nanaman ng nakapasan. “Ako na bitter.”
Ilang taon na rin niyang kilala si Chanyeol at ngayon lang niya ginawa ito. Wala naman nga kasing rason dati. It just so happened that particularly today, he had a reason in doing so.
“Oo na.” she suddenly admits, “Mahal pa rin kita kahit na kaya mo lang ako binubuhat ngayon eh para hindi madumihan yung sapatos ng girlfriend mo na ipinahiram n
