Everyone except one person woke up early that day.  And everything was happening in a hurry.  Dongwoon quickly batched up some pancakes for everyone so they can get their daily insulin while Minri and Minhee scarfed down their food and rushed over to clean up the lounge area.  They sighed to themselves, being in the maknae line sure did .  Once, the usual morning ritual was done and over with, one person still wasn't awake and no it wasn't Minsuk because he always woke up early on special occasions. 

Someone rang the doorbell and Youngjin rushed to answer it.  She answered it and saw the only and only, Na Eun.  She looked like she had ran a mile and peeked in"Where's Taehyuk?" she asked.

"Well hello to you to,"Xi passed by.  Youngjin smiled sheepishly"He's still asleep,"

"Wah?!"Na Eun exclaimed,"He's what?!  You guys can't plan a surprise party with him still in the house!" She almost screamed out.

Youngjin tried to calm Na Eun down and offered her some pancakes.

Meanwhile

Byeon Taehyuk didn't need an alarm clock to wake him up today.  He knew it would be a great day today.  Why?  Well he only knew, or atleast he thought.  He happily went to the bathroom to freshen up and he then walked up to the lounge where everyone including the sleeping rock was sitting down.  They all tensed up when he walked in.  He was oblivious of this because he noticed someone else.  He smiled ear to ear and sprinted towards her. 

"NA EUN!" He exclaimed , giving her a large bear hug.  She softened at the sight of him and smiled,"Yah, we promised we'll be going shopping today, remember?"

Taehyuk nodded.  After quickly having some breakfast and then changing into something presentable the two of them left.

Once the two left on their shoping venture , chaos erupted again as everyone split themselves into groups to make everything quicker.  The maknae line (Minri,Minhee,Dongwoon)  stayed home to make the food.  Youngjae,Xi,and Youngjin were assigned to buy the decorations.  Jihyun,Taeyeon, Yumi,Hyun-Ae, and Minsuk were in charge of presents. 

"Come back at six," Minri waved to the departing crowd. 

When she entered the kitchen, Dongwoon was already measuring the flour for the cake  while Minhee was cutting up vegetables.  The maknae line happily got along and everything was like rainbows and unicorns.

While the maknae line continued to make good food, Youngjae,Xi,and Youngjin entered a party favors store.  They had gotten down three fourths of the list and everything seemed to going dandy.

As they walked casually throught mall people couldn't help but stare at them.  They were all in some sort of disquise, either wearing shades or covering their face with a mask.  Still they looked extremely familiar and drew a large crowd as they walked.  While everyone had already gotten their gifts for Taehyuk, these five were the only ones that were still shopping.  From the corner of his eye Jihyun noticed bright blonde hair and his eyes widened when he saw who it was.

"Oh ," He muttered.  "Yumi, hurry up!" he nudged Yumi.

"Alright, Alright, just wait up."  Yumi quickly swiped her card and received the shopping bag from the clerk.  They met Hyun Ae and Minsuk at the food court. 

Taeyeon was on her way to the food court when she bumped into someone very familiar.  She gasped when she looked up and saw the one and only Kim Myungsoo.   He smirked as he looked down at her"Fancy meeting you here,"He grinned.

"How cheesy"Taeyeon rolled her eyes but couldn't help but smile. 

Myungsoo's phone rang and he checked who it was"Dammit, it's Sunggyu.  He want's me to hurry up."   He sighed and waved'See you later,"

Taeyeon gave him a small wave before going to the food court.

Minri answered the door and saw Xi , Youngjae, and Youngjin all looking pretty tired.  They all carried large bags of decorations.  Since their cooking was half finished Youngjin decided to help them out while Xi and Youngjae were blugging in the karaoke machine. 

Minsuk opened the door and hauled in five large bags of presents plus some refreshments like soda and soju. 

5:55 PM

"Minsuk come and help me with the banner,"

"Is the cake done yet?"

"Everyone sign the card!"

The whole dorm was going crazy right about now.  The manager had just informed them that Taehyuk would be here in less than five minutes so that meant they had to pick up their pace.  Something that worried them was that the fact that Taehyuk had the keys with him.  Everything was set and all they all hid somewhere.

Taehyuk lightly knocked on the door before opening it with the key.  He heard the strum of a guitar and Minri appeared out of nowhere,"Happy birthday to you"she sang while strumming the guitar.

"Happy birthday to you~"Na Eun joined along.

"Happy birthday dear Taehyuk," The lights and everyone was singing along.  "Happy birthday to you"

Dongwoon rolled in the cake and almost lost balance, the cake went flying and landed on Taehyuk's face.

Everyone became silent.

"You know I would scream but this cake is really good,"he said.  And everyone exploded in laughter.
