It's the day. The day of Donghae and Hyukjae's marriage. Hyukjae have troubled sleeping, he's so anxious. But Donghae felt whatever and didn't care of it at all.

Hyukjae was dressed up and now he peeked through the slightly open door. It didn't change, there's still a lot of people. He was really anxious. He closed the door again, saw his own reflection in the mirror. He couldn't help but feel strange, the dress was so tight. It's nearly suffocate him. And there's a s addition, well.. Yeah, he married as a girl, so.. Yeah, he dressed like a girl. He use brown wig, and a wedding dress. He looks like a girl now.

"Hyukjae, don't worry. You are pretty." Sooyoung, his personal maid and closest noona said.

"N..noona.. I don't have any confidence. I look stupid." Hyukjae said and look down in his feet.

"No, maybe even Donghae will fall for you."

One of the maid interrupted their conversation.

"I'm sorry but the ceremony is about to start.” The maid said

“Hyukjae, it’s the time, you can get through this.” Sooyoung said and patted Hyukjae’s shoulder.

“Noona.” Hyukjae looked confuse and saw Sooyoung’s face. He looks like in pain. He looks like he was lost.  Hyukjae felt his stomach churned. He’s going to be a married man. He’s going to give his all to Donghae, while he know the other hate him so much. They are agreed to this stupid marriage just because there’s no way out, because they know about the tradition, the prince must marry the mate he fated to, no matter what. So they didn’t argue or even try to argue.

Hyukjae felt his legs betray him while he was walking to the Altar it trembled, even the ceremony in the church – now – not opened for public but it’s still crowded, makes him didn’t want to wonder how crowded the main reception – in their kingdom- be. Hyukjae clutched Kangta’s hand more than he should be.

“Shhh.. don’t be nervous son, you are beautiful.” Kangta said while they both walks towards the altar. Hyukjae tried to relax himself but he couldn’t. He could see Donghae wait for him in the altar with such a fake happy face look right into his eyes. ‘It no use I’m beautiful or not, he hate me by the way.’ Hyukjae thought. ‘And that smile.. Just fake.” He thought again bitterly.

In the other hand, Donghae waited for his very-soon-to-be-wife to appear in that hall, and when he first saw him, he couldn’t believe it’s Hyukjae, he look gorgeous, he realized that Hyukjae has such a slender body and fair skinned, and his face seems so beautiful and cute, why could Hyukjae looks so beautiful to be a girl? He thought, but he shrugged it off, he hates to accept the fact that he like Hyukjae’s appearance, it’s still disgusting though, he is a boy and he looks like that. It’s abnormal. The problem is, he is conscious that he is eyeing his soon to be wife from head to toe, and he cursed himself for it. But maybe he could just take the good side, that people will think he anticipate for the wedding in which he don’t, and he won’t admit, even till he dies that he ever stunned look at Hyukjae.

Hyukjae stepped in the altar and eyeing Donghae anxiously, in fact he felt scared of what’s his life gonna turn to be, and he is not that naïve to think that it will be a happily ever after story because he know so clearly it won’t. Donghae just give him a sweet smile which he know was fake, but he thanks Donghae silently because it help him to calm down a little. Hyukjae couldn’t leave his eyes from Donghae, until heard Donghae said a phrase :

I, Lee Donghae , take you, Lee Hyukjae, to be my lawfully wedded wife, my constant friend, my faithful partner and my love from this day forward. In the presence of God, our family and friends, I offer you my solemn vow to be your faithful partner in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow. I promise to love you unconditionally, to support you in your goals, to honor and respect you, to laugh with you and cry with you, and to cherish you for as long as we both shall live.

Hyukjae awed at what Donghae said, it was touching, every lie that Donghae said was sweet, it’s just he know that Donghae will feel disgust if he know Hyukjae’s touch by his little lie. ‘Lawfully wedded wife’ Hyukjae thought in his mind. ‘Yeah, we are attach by law and stupid fate, it’s against his will, it’s true.. lawfully wedded wife.. Then there’s a ring passed to Hyukjae and he wears it to Donghae’s hand. He bite his lips hard, he felt unsure for all the thing that happened, he is married now, he is a married man. Hyukjae swallowed hard his saliva and gathered some courage to say his lines. He didn’t need courage to face people which watched them with such an anticipating looks, he was way more scared to face Donghae, Donghae that for just a little more time being his lawfully wedded husband. His.. husband.

I, Lee Hyukjae, take you Lee Donghae to be my husband, my partner in life and my one true love. I will cherish our union and love you more each day than I did the day before. I will trust you and respect you, laugh with you and cry with you, loving you faithfully through good times and bad, regardless of the obstacles we may face together. I give you my hand, my heart, and my love, from this day forward for as long as we both shall live. 

Hyukjae felt slightly hurt by his confessions, knowing that those words coming from deep down in his heart, while the words coming from his husband’s mouth was made, was fake. He felt cheated and stupid. But pathetically he still felt a little bit happy, Then he feel the cold material slid down in his finger. Ring, it’s a ring, a simple but beautiful one, and Donghae smile again, as if he is reassuring him, and telling him all the thing was okay, which was not. He felt his eyes getting warmer by the time, because of the indescribable happy feelings. The priest declare them as a husband and wife and that they should kiss. But seriously kiss? Will Donghae kiss him? Knowing that Donghae hate him to death?

Donghae eyed his so called wife with a confuse look, just now, was Hyukjae’s eyes really glisten? Then he groaned silently in his heart when he know he must kiss Hyukjae to seal their marriage. He cupped Hyukjae’s face, seeing his face for some good seconds and leaned slowly, with his hand making it’s way to Hyukjae’s neck while the other hand caressed his cheek. Of course it’s just for the family and relative to feel his love towards Hyukjae.

But when Donghae saw his eyes, he felt confused and lost, it’s not a disgust feelings. Is it because the way Hyukjae eyeing Donghae with his big brown eyes? Like a lost puppy wait to be pet. Like a person feared to be hurt. Donghae closed the gap between them with a kiss, he closed his eyes and kiss Hyukjae, Hyukjae closed his eyes as well and he could feel tears flow down his cheek. Donghae pull himself slightly and saw the crying Hyukjae, he couldn’t help but feel how fake was Hyukjae, how fake was those tears.  While Hyukjae cursing himself to let the tears flow down in his cheeks. But he couldn’t help,  He wiped it fastly and smile.

They heard the crowd cheers for them, they both could see their parents cry because they are very happy. Hyukjae felt happy, at least, even if he is suffering of Donghae’s love, their parents happiness paid it all. It’s worth it. He thinks. Then he could see his very bestfriend Sungmin and Leeteuk smiling brightly to him, also Donghae’s bestfriend Siwon and Kibum smile and raising their thumbs. Hyukjae closed his eyes to register it all to his mind, this is his wedding day, the moment that supposed to be the happiest moment in his life, even if it’s not.. he just pretend it is.

Then they are rushing to go to the kingdom again, for the traditional ceremony. He’s also going in the same car as Donghae. When they are in the car, they are sitting far away, with Donghae facing outside the window and he, himself peeking slowly to see Donghae’s gesture. ‘What a big deal about marriage if they are still as far as hell? What’s the point? It’s not making any differences. Maybe Donghae want to insult him right now, and because of there are the driver, Donghae take a hold of his words.’ Hyukjae thought.

When they are near to the kingdom, Donghae just whispered

“Don’t do anything stupid, and don’t feel too dramatic. You know how I feel. “ Donghae stated as if he want to visibly draw a line to Hyukjae, preventing him to make some space for them. Then they are stepped out of the car, with Hyukjae’s hand clutched his husband’s. They walk to their room with cheesy act like smiling to each other and stuff, then they go to their own room for the traditional wedding preparation. The traditional wedding will be in that early evening until night. Yeah, they will went through a long day.

“Hyukjae, how is it dear?” Sooyoung asked Hyukjae.

“tiring noona. It’s simply tiring.” Hyukjae said and plops himself in his bed.

“This! Nonna this is tiring.” Hyukjae point at his high heels with an annoyed look and he take it off. Sooyoung just smile from Hyukjae’s behavior.

“hmm.. Hyukjae I bet there’s another factor of your  ‘tiring’ right?” Sooyoung asked him

“N..Noona.” Hyukjae eyeing Sooyoung like a lost puppy.

“You know you can always tell me.” Sooyoung smile and patted Hyukjae’s head.

“Now come here! Let me erase your make up and wig, change it into the traditional one.” Sooyoung said and they are begin to undo Hyukjae’s hair and stuff. Hyukjae however still feel weird and thinking hard how will this day turns out to be. And Sooyoung just do her job, while the other maids prepare for Hyukjae’s bath. After the preparation was finished, Hyukjae look at the mirror, it’s reflected his true form, a boy. He caressed his cheek lightly and couldn’t help but think that he was a boy, and he can’t change the fact that he is a boy, even he wished he could be a girl, so Donghae will love him. Then he slapped himself lightly and go to take a bath. After that he dressed up again in hanbok with a heavy wig in his head. He look at himself again. It’s a girl, he is being a girl again. He sigh and force a smile. ‘at least, let me be happy in my wedding day. Because wedding is one in my lifetime, so let me be happy.’ He thought.

The ceremony starts, Hyukjae could hear it from his room that the opening ceremony was started and he feels extremely nervous. He’s in the room, and his turn still so long. But still, he felt anxious.

‘Seriously, I hate this more than the church ceremony.” Donghae thought. Traditional ceremony is a long ceremony that will take so many time, and it’s not worth it. He thought. He was wasting his time for marrying Hyukjae, the guy that he didn’t even love. Donghae shakes his head and wears his hat, ready to go out of his room.

He saw crowd, and he frowns, it’s annoying, and he bet there are a lot of press to, in that place but it’s hideous. He walks out with his butler – Minho – and goes to the ceremony.

And he saw that the opening ceremony has begun, and he sit at his sit and waits for it to end, after it ended, they announce that their family has been joined and stuff and he mentally rolled his eyes, ‘keep talking’ he thought.

It’ Hyukjae’s turn to go out, it’s called the bride parades, he comes with beautifully decorated wagon and he does not show his face until entering the ceremony place. He peeked from the annoying veil, went down to see Donghae. Donghae was always like that, so handsome. And with that dark blue hanbok, and that traditional belt, we can feel his authority. He went down that wagon and face Donghae. He also saw the two candle beside Donghae, seeing the fire dancing in the air and hope for the fire not going to go off, because if the light’s off, it’s mean a bad luck.

He saw Donghae smiling to him behind that veil and he loosened up himself, he’s being too serious, like what he said, he must be happy, it’s his wedding, he must be happy.

He then bow at Donghae twice, in every bow, he really give his heart to Donghae so it’s as if he bow as his whole, not only physically. He really bow down with full of respect despite how Donghae has treat him. He is like giving all that he has to Donghae, and promise that he will really be a good wife for the other and Donghae replied his bow with bow down once and Hyukjae could bet that he bow with no respect and what so ever, and he shrugged it off. Then Donghae remove the veil in his face.

Then there are somebody who hands Donghae a cup of liquor. The liquor will be drank by Donghae half of the cup and Hyukjae for another half, Donghae start to drink it, and when he lift his head a bit high to drink it, Hyukjae stared at him intently, even Donghae is faking all of his facial expression now, he looks happy, and Hyukjae really hope that it’s Donghae real feelings, even he know it’s not. But he thinks fooling himself today maybe is the best way, because he had to be happy today.

Then the liquor handed to him and he drank it. Is it funny? Because it's the first time they are sharing one cup of drink? And today's kiss in the church was the first as well, is it funny?

As a couple drink the liquor means that their body and soul become one, but are they? Because for Donghae it's just pure of formality.

Hyukjae bit his lips for the indescribable embarrassment due to the cup. He's thinking of it as a big deal because he never shared the so-called indirect kiss. And he felt indescribably happy. At the other hand, Donghae just smile endlessly.

Lee hyori walked toward them and give the a girugi - a wooden wild geese - that represents that the bride and groom will contribute only ro each other in their whole life, but when Hyori hand Donghae the girugi, there's a commotion, people start to murmured, Hyukjae glanced to the candles beside Donghae, it's off, the light's off. People start to murmured wildly. 'Bad luck' they said. Hyukjae's heart sank. What happened to his marriage? Even he know that his husband's careless. But after a few second the lights magically up again.  People murmured again. 'The fire is flaming again.' They said and Hyukjae closed his eyes, relieved. After all the fire lights up again.

Lee Hyori then continue to give the girugi. After that, Hyori and Kangta start to read their letters for Hyukjae, as a farewell, because Hyukjae has already given to Donghae's family.

After that, as the closing, yeah, party, again, half of it was the political party. Like you wander here and there smiling, but this time people circling them. Hyukjae giving them a sweet gummy smile, and Donghae gave them a sweet smile. But until now Hyukjae still feel confuse.

After some times, the guest start to go home, and their friends like sungmin leeteuk, kibum and siwon already go home too after hugging them and said some 'congrats' even Hyukjae's friend know that it's not a real 'congrats' they are concern of their friend.

Then there's a family gathering, Heechul, Hankyung, Hyori and Kangta, also of course the bride and groom eat in one table, to celebrate their wedding, after that, Hyori dragged Hyukjae to the kingdom's garden for some times, only they both.

"Hyukjae-ah, you are now lawfully the kingdom's family." Hyori said while cupping his face.

"Umma." Hyukjae said hollowly.

"This." Hyori take an elegant rectangular box.

"What's that?" Hyukjae asked, Hyori opened it slowly, it's a necklace, the necklace that given for hyukjae from the kingdom when Hyori accept that her kid is the prince mate (see chap 1A).

Hyori slowly wears the necklace to her son's neck.

"The moment somebody lawfully wedded with the kingdom, they must wears necklace right?" Hyori asked and smile.

"It's yours." Hyori stares at Hyukjae, and hug him, Hyukjae hug his mother back.

"Be happy Hyukjae, be a good wife for Donghae, even people judge you because you are a boy, just take it, be tough, keep everything in your heart. You are a precious jewel.. Hyukjae."

"Umma.."

"Donghae.. He loves you right?" Hyori asked her son. He hesitantly nod.

"Be happy. Hyori say carressed Hyukjae's cheek. Hyukjae nods, tears flow in his cheek again.

"Live your name.. The precious Eunhyuk." Hyori said and peck Hyukjae's forehead.

Then they go back to the gathering.

"Ah, Hyukjae, there you are." Hankyung said.

"The property in the Mokpo province, the big mansion, is for you. Here's the key, your present of marriage." Hankyung said and Hyukjae just smile. Donghae get the key and smile widely as if he is happy. It’s a tradition after all, the kingdom gives the newlyweds a mansion in province for resting and stuff. So it’s mean that the property in Mokpo was given too Eunhyuk and DOnghae

"Thanks appa." Donghae said.

"Donghae, you wanna go to honeymoon or not?" Heechul asked.

"I think I won't, just in the kingdom. The college's catching up." Donghae said.

"It's okay for you right Hyukjae?" Donghae asked.

"Yeah it's okay, I know that Donghae must study. It's okay." Hyukjae said.

"Ah. Lucky you have such an understanding wife!" Heechul said.

 After some times they go to their room. Hyukjae still wanna open his own room, and it can't. He asked Sooyoung but Sooyoung said she didn't know. Donghae beside him rolled his eyes.

"The key.. I bet it's in my mom." Donghae said. Then Hyukjae decided to get the key in Heechul. He go to the king's room.

"Hey aunty, where's uncle?" Hyukjae asked.

"Bathroom." Heechul smile.

"Aunty.. Can I have my room key?" Hyukjae asked.

"Why?" She asked.

"Mm.. My stuff still there aunty.. I wanna get it."

"No, you can't because your stuff is in Donghae, we have moved it when we are in the wedding ceremony. Hyukjae's jaw opened.

"And Hyukjae dear, I'm an 'umma' for you. Now, speak."

"U..u..uumma?" Hyukjae said awkwardly.

"Yeah, umma. And Hankyung my husband, is an 'appa' for you." Heechul said and Hyukjae nod.

"And, Hyukjae, there's no, entering your room." Heechul said.

"Okay umma." Hyukjae said with such disappointment in his heart. Then he went to Donghae's room with his head hang low. He stood in front of the room with his hand hang in the air. He was scared as hell to knock the door.

You know, it's the first, they are lawfully married, well, it's the first night and I bet you know what it means because Hyukjae is scared as hell, will Donghae do him? It means Hyukjae's all really belong to Donghae.

Hyukjae gathered his courage and knocked the door. Then he peeked inside the door slightly.

"Just come in." Donghae said snappily, he fastly and quietly went inside Donghae's room. He saw Donghae stood with his arm in his waist in his walk in wardrobe.

", this is.. ." Donghae murmured but somehow Hyukjae heard it. He slowly approached Donghae.

"Look, your stuff in the left and it STAY in the left, don't messed up with my stuff. Get it?" Donghae eyeing him. Hyukjae but his lips and nod.

"And don't wear it!" Donghae said. And Hyukjae nod again.

"Good. And why are you here?" Donghae asked.

"Umma forbid me to go to my room. It's lock." He said and looked down in his hand.

"You mean my umma? The queen Heechul? You called her umma?" Donghae asked, feeling unhappy of How Hyukjae called his mother.

"I'm sorry. She asked me to." Hyukjae said and escape, he get a comfortable shirt to wear in his sleep. He went to the bathroom with a pounding heart. He's kinda scared, and felt unsure, how if, Donghae do him?

After he finished changing, he go to the room.

"D..donghae.." He stammered.

"What?" Donghae replied as he walked toward Hyukjae. Hyukjae's cheeks were rosy pink.

"What? Hyukjae? You are blushing."

"Mnoo.." Hyukjae said.

"Hmm.. Seriously. You are my wife." Donghae said playfuly cause Hyukjae's cheeks even more red than it has before. Then he grab Hyukjae's jewel necklace.

"Is this the kingdom necklace eunhyuk?" He asked and Hyukjae closed his eyes.

"As precious as jewel.. Seriously." Donghae said mockingly. Then he walked to the bed. Hyukjae eyeing him carefully.

"Donghae.. W..where will I sleep?" Hyukjae asked carefully.

"Not in bed." Donghae said.

"Huh?" Hyukjae asked.

"Do you really expect me to share this bed with you Eun Hyuk?" Donghae said and in every time he said Eunhyuk, there's the pressure on it, like he mocked him. He really hate the way Donghae say that name.

"C..c..couch?" Hyukjae asked.

"Up to you. Eunhyuk." Donghae said and smirked.

"Donghae, can you please stop calling me Eunhyuk?" He asked, he was annoyed.

"Why Eunhyuk? I'm calling my precious wife." Donghae said and Hyukjae just shrugged it, he won't win Donghae, then he go to the couch and lay his body, he was very unfortunate, really, the air conditionair was right in front of him. So he felt really cold. He then stand up, demand for a blanket from Donghae. Donghae then go to their wardrobe and threw him a blanket made of a thin fabric. Hyukjae just lay back in the couch, covered with the thin blanket.

'So this is my life now, sleeping in the couch, feeling loveless and lonely, I bet for every single day of my life, I will feel this.' Hyukjae thought and cry in his sleep.

And for Donghae, he is still... Careless. He still feel nothing. While Hyukjae clutched the blanket hard. He's freezing, but he is careless because of his brokenheart, to think that he even thought that Donghae will do him..

How stupid that he could be? Even.. In his marriage day, he couldn't be happy. How ironic. How pathetic.
