"It...it has been quite some time,right?"
Eli finally break the silence between them two while waiting for their order arrive.They're having dinner in a restaurant,after SooJin ended her shift.She couldn't refuse it since Eli is waiting in front of the restaurant she worked in for almost 3hours.
  "I guess..so..How are you doing?Living well?"Soo Jin try to smile but it's obviously an awkward smile.
"After you leave,nothing have been well for me,Soo Jin,"
Soo Jin didn't know how should she react of Eli's unexpected answer.

"Eli..,please..it's already the past..."
"But how we live today,depends on how we live in the past too,right?"Eli said as his eyes didn't move at all,staring at the woman he missed the most for this past 4years...she didn't change much,her face,remains the same as the last time he saw her.
"I...I miss you so much,Kim Soo Jin.Didn't you share the same feeling with me?"
Soo Jin feels she's short of breath.Don't know what should I answer Eli's killing answer.I'm lying if I said I didn't miss and never thought of Eli at all after their break up.But it's only as an ex,a friend...no longer as a lover.His place is already replaced by someone else,my husband.How can I tell him all that?This is our first meet after a few years...I don't want to ruin it.

While still thinking what should be the answer,the waiter comes to serve their dinner.
"I hope you didn't mind I ordered the Salad pasta for you,"
Soo Jin gulped.It was my favourite dish.Till now.
"Thanks,"Eli thanks the waiter and paid the bill.Soo Jin feel quite awkward of the situation.

"Don't worry,I'm working now and got regular salary,monthly...so after this I'll pay each time we met,"Eli can read what's in Soo Jin's mind and explain  to her so she wouldn't feel uncomfortable.
'Each time?He wants to meet again after this?'
"Why?Don't you like it anymore?I can call the waiter to change it..."
"No,no,it wasn't like that..I...just..didn't get used to this situation yet..."
"Haha...you will,soon...
I just nod my head,smiling too,trying to adapt the situation.
 

When we were dating during university days,we will only pay our own meals.As  students,we always short of money,and we did part time job to survive.I got scholarship but it doesn't enough due to high cost of living in America.Eli is coming from a well-off family,but he wants to be independent without his parents help when studying.I only knew about his background when he brought me to meet his parents to his mansion,on our first anniversary.Only certain people knows about his family.His family is kind too,they accept me as their own daughter even though it was only their first met.
We worked together at a bookstore near the university,the place where we met,knowing each other,get closer and decided to date,for two years...

"So since when you come here,and why?Looking for me?"
I was taking a sip from my drink when he asked the question.I coughed,luckily I didn't spitted it out from my mouth straight to his face.He stand up from his sit,patting my back.
"Are you okay?"
I nodded my head,"Yes,I am...don't worry,I didn't die yet...hehe"
"What are you saying?Die?Are you sick?"
"Haha,Eli,I was just joking okay,don't take it too serious..."
Eli scrath his backhead.Feel kinda embarassed by his childish question.
"Hehe....but at least you laugh,"
 

Soo Jin smiled,"why?can't I?"
Seeing Soo Jin smile,Eli feel warmth.Just like their old days.'Even though Soo Jin still didn't answer my questions,that is already enough for me for this time being.This will take time.I can't rush.Soo Jin,I will make you mine again.I promise.'
