Outsider) - K.Will (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxOGt2C5MTQ)       ------------------------ Narrator’s P.O.V:     One cloudy afternoon, more than half of the EXO boys were going out to shop for food, while the others were going to play a round of soccer outside.   D.O, Kris, Lay, Suho, Baekhyun, Tao, Kai, and Luhan were on shopping duty, while Chanyeol, Chen, Sehun and Xiumin would play soccer.   Naeun had volunteered to stay home, since she didn’t feel too well. Knowing that Baekhyun and the others would be worried about her, she didn’t tell, but instead told them that she was too tired to go out.   “Are you sure you’re gonna be alright here alone, Naeun?” Baekhyun fretfully curled her hair behind her ear. He must’ve noticed how her smiles weren’t as bright these days, and the colour from her face was slowly draining out.   “I’m alright. I’ll be okay.” Naeun assured, capturing his hand in hers and squeezing it comfortingly, “You just go out with the other oppas and be sure to buy all the stuff we need, okay? You have the list, right?”   Baekhyun dug through his hoodie’s pocket and pulled out a small folded piece of paper, “Got it.” Still, he looked unsure by her faltering grin.   Suho caught his wary gaze and furrowed his eyebrows, “Maybe someone should stay back with Naeun.” Baekhyun eagerly raised up his hand, but Naeun shook her head.   “I told you, I’m fine. Don’t worry about me.” She let out a soft smile and straightened out Baekhyun’s jacket, “I’ll be fine, so go and help out D.O oppa, okay? To be honest,” Naeun lowered her voice, “You’re the best cook next to him. Maybe even better than Kris.”   “Naeun!” Kris looked appalled. Naeun and Tao chortled.   Baekhyun had no choice but to gently chuckle at that, “You sure you’ll be alright?” He searched her eyes one more time.   “Oh, come on, hyung. Naeun will be fine.” Kai waved it off dismissively, wanting to hurry up and get the shopping over with. “Plus, the others won’t be too far from the house.”   “Yeah, one of us will come to check up on Naeun every now and then.” Chen nodded. Xiumin put his thumb up, “She’ll be okay.”   Luhan studied Baekhyun’s hesitant expression and glanced at the boys. “Make sure that you check up on her before every round.” He bargained.   The four boys agreed, and Naeun sighed with a hopeless smile, “Come on you guys, I’m not a baby that needs to be cared for every single second!”   “Yes you are,” Kris mused, “In Baekhyun’s eyes, you’re still a baby.”   Naeun shot a look at him and he backed off, hands up in defense playfully.   “Alright, we’ll go.” Baekhyun ended up agreeing. Naeun proudly beamed. *That’s my boyfriend.* She rubbed his shoulder comfortingly before the shopping team walked out the door and left for town.   “Seriously, I don’t know what you see in that guy. He’s paranoid about you all the time.” Xiumin shook his head. Sehun jabbed his stomach with his elbow, “Hyung! That’s mean!”   Naeun giggled, “I think it’s cute to see him so worried about me, but to be honest,” She motioned them closer, “I think he goes a little bit overboard sometimes.”   “A little bit overboard?” Xiumin raised an eyebrow.   “Sometimes?” Chen added.   Naeun laughed it off. “I thought Baekhyun oppa was your friend!”   “He is, but it’s the first time I’ve ever seen Baek be so overprotective over anyone or anything, and I’ve been his friend the longest.” Chanyeol explained.   “You’re the first.” Sehun agreed, plastering a bright smile on his face. Naeun’s eyes softened as her heart quivered, “Is that so…”   Chen looked at the time, “Shouldn’t we go outside now? We’ll come to check up on you at the start of the next round, okay, Naeun?”   Sehun instantly snapped out of it and flung his hands around her, “Yeah, Naeunnie! We’ll take turns, okay? Be safe!”   Naeun gave Sehun a light pat and smiled to the others, “You really don’t have to. I’ve learned to stay by myself for a while now on Earth.” She rolled her eyes.   “Yeah, but we already made a promise with Luhan hyung.” Chanyeol grimaced.   “Curse him and his eternal baby face that can persuade everyone to do things for him!” Xiumin shook his fist comically. Everyone burst out laughing.   Chen shook his head, “Minseok hyung, you pabo.” He waved everyone out, “We’ll see you a bit later then, Naeun!”   “Have a good time!” She called out and waved when they disappeared into the woods. As soon as they were gone, Naeun’s smile dropped and she felt the sore pains on her arm flame up again.   She hurried back inside the house and slowly pulled up her long sleeves, revealing dark purple bruises. They dotted her arm in evident patches.   Naeun lightly traced over them with her fingertips, but winced when they stung even
