Eunji couldn't help but grin and slowly walk into the middle of the room.

Minhyuk laughed and followed after.

"Do you.. like it?"

Eunji laughed and reached up for one of the balloons. "I love it."

Eunji decided to do something funny and in some helium.

Minhyuk and Eunji both cracked up at her high-pitch funny voice. Minhyuk tried some and they burst out laughing even more.

Finding it too amusing, they both fell onto the floor, panting to catch their breath.

"You know, this is the only time i ever laughed so much after being let out of the hospital." Eunji softly chuckled and looked up at the ceiling.

Minhyuk smiled and watched Eunji trying to reach for another balloon.

The sight of how her hair fell perfectly to one side, her round eyes looking up curiously at the balloon, her long arm and fingers reaching up for the balloon.

Minhyuk reached over and held Eunji's face with both hands.

Both looking deep into each other's eyes. Trying to search for answers.

Minhyuk slowly leaned forward and gently pressed his lips against Eunji's.

Eunji knew she shouldn't of. She knew from deep down inside. Yet she couldn't hold back. She was in love with him.

Eunji closed her eyes and kissed Minhyuk back, fighting back her tears.

She decided to hide how she remembered everything. It would bring Minhyuk so much pain, knowing that she regained her memory of him while continuing her relationship with Sungjae.

No matter how much she loved Minhyuk, she couldn't leave Sungjae behind. Not after everything he's done for her.

Sleeping by her bed every night until she finally woke up, talking with her, keeping her company whenever Eunji felt lonely and lost.

Eunji quickly moved back and wiped her lips while awkwardly looking away.

Minhyuk rubbed the back of his neck and laughed nervously, both feeling awkward with what just happened.

"I'm sorry.. I just-"

"It's okay. It was just a moment thing." Eunji sadly smiled. "We should.. go to sleep. It's late."

Eunji slowly stood up and walked out, leaving Minhyuk watching her walk away, knowing he failed.

Minhyuk and Eunji left straight after they woke up and drove back to Eunji's place.

After getting out of the car, they slowly walked up in silence to her house.

Sungjae paitently waited in front of Eunji's house, trying to hold back his anger. He turned his head and saw Eunji and Minhyuk walking side by side towards him.

Sungjae folded his arms and blocked their way.

Eunji slowly looked up at who was blocking the path way and gasped.

"Sung.. Sungjae."

Sungjae looked over at Minhyuk and narrowed his eyes.

"Where were you, Eunji?"

Minhyuk clenched his jaw and stared right back into Sungjae's eyes.

Eunji cleared and tried to explain but Minhyuk stopped her.

"She was with me."

Sungjae laughed sarcastically and grabbed Minhyuk by the collar.

"Oh really? I totally didn't expect that."

Eunji quickly tried pulling Sungjae's hand away. "Stop it Sungjae!"

Sungjae ignored Eunji and stepped closer the Minhyuk.

"You really got the nerves, huh? Trying to steal someone else's woman." Sungjae hissed in his face.

Minhyuk blankly looked back at Sungjae.

"I could say the same to you."

Sungjae taken aback by Minhyuk's comment, loosened his grip.

Eunji finally managed to pull away Sungjae's hand but Sungjae quickly grabbed onto Eunji's wrist and pulled her behind him.

"Stay away from Eunji. We're together now. I don't care if you guys were dating in the past. The past, is the past. It's over. Finished. Don't try and fix things again, Hyung. She doesn't remember you. You were never there for her when she REALLY needed you most. You don't deserve her!"

Minhyuk's expression darkened.

"Finished?"

Minhyuk grabbed Sungjae and threw a punch at his face. Sungjae fell to the ground and wiped his mouth. Blood.

"Nah, not yet."

Sungjae got up and punched Minhyuk back. Both testing each other's strength. Minhyuk took the moment and punched Sungjae again.

When Sungjae was about to hit back, Eunji ran in front of Minhyuk and held her arms wide open.

"Stop it! Just stop it! I'm still with you, aren't i?! Why are you doing this! He was just keeping me company because you never came. Okay? Just please, stop it.. I beg you..."

Eunji eyes pleaded and wiped her tears away, trying to stay strong.

Sungjae gasped for air and swore in fustration.

Eunji slowly walked up to Sungjae and held his hurt hand.

"I'm sorry.. This won't ever happen again. Please.. I'm sorry."

Sungjae wiped his mouth with his free hand and spat blood onto the floor.

"Promise?" Sungjae looked back and forth at Eunji and Minhyuk. "Promise me this will never happen again. You and Him. Never."

Eunji slowly looked down with tears falling from her eyes.

Eunji closed her eyes, remembering all her precious memories with Minhyuk.

Minhyuk watched Eunji from behind and couldn't help but feel his heart drop.

"....I promise."

Sungjae sighed in relief and nodded. "Good. Let's go."

Sungjae held Eunji's hand and pulled her away from Minhyuk, leaving him behind.

Eunji slowly turned around and looked back at Minhyuk.

They couldn't take their eyes off of each other.

Minhyuk's vision soon started to blur. One tear drop after the other, slowly falling down his face.

Minhyuk reached out his hand to her.

But this time, just this last time.. Eunji slowly turned around and never looked back.

Minhyuk.. I'm sorry.

I'm sorry i brought you so much pain. I'm sorry i'm such a horrible person.

I was meant to make you smile. Make you laugh. Make you happy. Yet... I'm making you cry.

Please forgive me?

You know, I will never ever forget you. Never. You were my love. My bestfriend. My life.

It was a miracle that i came to remember you again. Found the last missing puzzle. All cause of you. Thank you. Thank you for everything.

Please smile. For me. Please be happy. For what may happen in the future. I will support you all the way.

Because of you, i learned so much and experienced so much. You deserve so much better.
