Eunji sat on the floor with her arms wrapped around her knees.

She carefully watched the video playing in front of her.

A complete stranger and herself, exactly a year ago, cooking pasta together.

Eunji examined the boy, wrapping his arms around the Eunji in the video.

She frowned.

Who.. is this?

After being released from the hospital, Eunji was allowed to come back home and live her life again.

The doctor told her parents that Eunji was able to remember everything. Eating, speaking, walking, everything. It was quite a miracle.

She was one of the lucky patients who were able to restore back to their old selves.

Except one thing...

She couldn't remember this boy.

A sudden knock on the door snapped her out of her deep thoughts.

Eunji stopped the video and walked to her front door.

"Who is it?" Eunji called out while fixing how she looked.

"Eunji! It's me, Gaeun."

Eunji broke into a grin and swung open the door.

Straight away she was embraced by her bestfriend.

Eunji laughed and hugged her back.

"I missed you sooooooooooooo much! ..Even though i saw you yesterday." Gaeun hugged her even tighter.

Eunji started coughing. "You're.. choking.. me." Eunji managed to breath out.

"Oh! , sorry!" Gaeun released her grip and checked if Eunji was okay.

They both laughed and walked inside.

Gaeun looked around. "Man, it's still the same from when we were little."

Eunji smiled and nodded. "It is."

Gaeun spun around and grabbed Eunji by the shoulders.

"So, anything about Minhyuk?"

Eunji slowly stopped smiling and shook her head.

"..I can't remember anything."

Gaeun sighed deeply and dropped her arms.

"He's really heartbroken.. You know."

Eunji flopped down onto the sofa and looked up at the ceiling.

"It's not like i'm forgetting on purpose.. I can't help it."

Gaeun looked down and joined Eunji. "I know.. I know you're trying your hardest."

Eunji sighed and closed her eyes.

Eunji walked into her class and sat down. While unpacking her bag, she could feel a pair of eyes staring at her.

Eunji slowly turned her head and looked to her right.

She instantly met eyes with the stranger.

Alittle surprised, Eunji quickly looked back at her bag and continued unpacking.

Their professor walked in and started the lecture.

Eunji couldn't concentrate at all because she knew he was still looking at her.

Eunji shot up her hand and called out. "Sir, could i please go to the bathroom?"

The professor, taken aback, nodded slowly and continued his class.

Eunji quickly stood up and walked out of the room.

As soon as she was out, Eunji tried slowing down her breathing.

Why does he keep staring...

Eunji quickly walked to the bathroom and washed her hands, since she needed to spent some time in the bathroom.

As she walked out, she bumped into a tall figure.

Eunji rubbed her forehead and looked up. "Sorr-"

It was the stranger.

Eunji stood frozen in her spot while he smiled down at her.

"Eunji.. How you feeling? Do you.. remember anything?"

Eunji awkwardly looked down and fiddled with her fingers.

"Uh.. um.. I should.. You know."

Before he could ask her anymore questions, Eunji ran off back to class, leaving him behind.

As soon as Eunji walked out of class, someone popped up beside her holding her favorite lollipop in front of her.

"Hey, noona. Surprise."

Eunji looked up and instantly smiled. "Sungjae!"

"For you." Sungjae took Eunji's books for her and handed her the lollipop.

Eunji laughed while walking with Sungjae.

Right behind, was Minhyuk watching them walk off together.
