Something is missing….
I can feel it….
And if I tried to think about it ….
My head aches…
I close my eyes…..
And relax my body….
“Laura , are you alright?” I heard Seunghyun ask me.
His driving the car.
I don’t know why but until now my name sounds strange.
“Do you feel uncomfortable?” He asks me again and shift his body to face me after stopping the car near a gate ….
I glance to him….
To tell him that I am ok….
Its just there is a sudden longing in my heart that I can’t figure out what is it…?
And then something caught my attention….
The place is so familiar….
“Laura…?”
But Seunghyun’s voice is too hazy for me….
My attention is occupied with that house…
I open the car and let myself out….
My heart is beating so fast…
As if….. breathing, suddenly makes it more difficult for me…
I walk slowly to the gate…
The house is a bit gloomy…
The flower’s in the garden starts to wither…
And to my surprise….
I can see flashes in my head….
Me laughing with someone…….a faceless man...
In that garden……
“Laura….?”
I realized Seunghyun followed me.
He put his arms around me…
“Something wrong?”
He asks me again…
I look up to him….
Then remembered the first time I saw him…

I woke up feeling dizzy…
The smell of alcohol and antiseptic made me want to vomit…
I tried to move my body but someone hold me to stay still….
“Don’t move yet…. Just relax….”
He said.
Then a slicing pain hit the side part of my head…
I touch it and felt the bandage…
“Where am I ?”
I manage to ask the person beside me….
His wearing a white gown with a stethoscope on his neck.
“You are at the hospital..”
“What happened?”
“I can’t answer you that but I just found you unconscious and bleeding in an alley…”
“I was..?”
“Yeah. Can’t you remember it?”
“ I……I don’t know….. can’t remember a thing…”
My head aches when I forced myself to think of what happened to me before I got here in the hospital.
“You have a temporary loss of memory….”
“What do you mean?”
“Don’t worry, your memory will return eventually. Just don’t force it..…”
“Oh….”
“By the way, I found this beside you…” He gave to me a white hankie. .. “I bet your name ends with “…Ra”…..”
He said as I studied the torn part of the hankie where my supposed full name is embroidered.
“Do you remember your name at least?”
I shook my head.
“Then I’ll just call you Laura…..”
The name don’t ring a bell to me but I just let him.
I am too tired to even think about it.

I sighed....
That time I also discovered that I am three months pregnant..
Do I already have a family?
Why can't I remember any of them?
Did my husband wondered where I am now?
Did he even tried to look for me?
That made me sighed again...
Was I even married?
“Laura…? Something wrong?”
He asks me again.
I sighed, and shake my head.
“N-nothing….” I said.
“Then let’s get inside in the car, the rain is starting to pour. Its not good for the baby if you catch a cold….”
I reluctantly move ….
It felt so hard for me to leave the place…
But I let Seunghyun to guide me back to the car…..
The rain poured heavily as soon as we reach inside..
Seunghyun step on the accelerator slowly…back to the main road..
But……
Something caught my eyes…..
That person standing on the rain….
That familiar figure….
My heart wildly thumps…..
“Seunghyun! Stop!!”
I manage to tell him just about we pass by the stranger…
“Huh?” He slow down the car.
I slowly shifted my heavy body….. now four months on the way…
Tried to see clearly that person from the heavy rain…
“What is it Laura?”
Seunghyun ask me…
“I…… think….. I know that.. person…”
My voice trembled…..
I can hear the nervousness in it..
Why am I feeling this way…?
