Chapter 10: A date, or not?
Ms Author- Idol
I smacked my head, hopeless. What’s this? You were supposed to say: ‘Oh, I didn’t hear anything at all! Let’s go home!’
“I respect you as a senior, but I’m sorry I have no obligation to tell you anything at all.” I firmed up my position. No way, I’m not going to betray my secret even if I offended a senior.
“Kyung Me!” I could hear my manager yelling his head off for me.
“Well, I have to go, excuse me, JaeJoong sunbae-nim,” I turned away immediately, wanting to run away. However, JaeJoong had a sudden grab on my wrist.
“You’ll definitely tell me one day.” JaeJoong gave a mischievous smirk.
WHAT?!
I turned immediately, out of the door. Seriously, how could someone be so ridiculous? The image of him on screen was so much different than real life. I shook my head off the weird image of JaeJoong.
“Oppa!” I called out for manager oppa before he could search any further.
“There you are! I’m so worried!” Manager oppa jogged over to my side.
“I’m sorry,” I apologized.
“It’s alright, let’s go home.” I nodded, exhausted from all the running and thinking. On the way home, I gave up on trying to keep awake till another call woke me up.
“Kyung Me?” Hoya’s voice came through.
“Neh…” I answered with a sleepy voice, my eyes still closed. A deep giggle came through.
“You’re sleeping?”
“Oppa?”
“Neh, it’s me, Hoya. Sorry, you want me to call back later?”
“It’s alright, oppa.”
“Just want to see if you want to have lunch together before going for music program tomorrow?”
“Wae? You don’t have a schedule?”
“Silly, did you forget I’m MC for tomorrow’s program?” Hoya chuckled.
“Oh, right,” I was almost awake, but I couldn’t keep up to the conversation.
“Silly girl, I treat it as you agree to tomorrow’s date! See you!” With that, Hoya ended the call with a happy note. So, what did I sign up myself for?
A date, right…
Wait, A DATE?! I stood up from my seat, causing me to hit my head against the car.
“Ouch,” I rubbed my head, as I sat back down.
“You alright?” Manager oppa looked back through the rear mirror.
“Neh,” I nodded.
Kyung Me, calm down! I used to eat together with the guys all the time! There’s nothing to be nervous about. But, why would he say such confusing word?
