I am Geun Young, a Korean-American undergraduate. I have been an “average” all my life – that is, I have never been particularly prominent. I was the one you rarely noticed down the hallways and the one whose name was often forgotten at the end of the school year. Don’t get me wrong. I am fine with the way my life has been – predictable and relatively smooth-sailing. I liked it that way.

Yet, the life I knew was almost bound to be thrown into chaos the moment that mysterious man fell from nowhere onto my lawn on the first day of Christmas. He was the typical unpredictable and irresponsible individual and the kind that lives life like a frivolous brat. He was the kind I would hate. And he thinks he is Santa Claus’ helper! What’s up with that really?

I have yet to even get to the worst part of all: I have to live with him for the entire twelve days of Christmas, whether I liked it or not. Welcome to my nightmare.
