Key would text Jonghyun everyday. Most of the times the answers would be “I’m busy, can’t talk.”, “” Don’t pester.” or he wouldn’t reply at all.

The brown haired boy couldn’t focus in college; his excellent grades were lowering day by day, he’d spend his days crying with such coldness towards him.

But he couldn’t and he wouldn’t give up on his marriage. Jonghyun had been his life since they were little, it was impossible to live without him.

One day, after texting him, Key got a curious reply.

“I have a challenge for you, Bummie.” The younger raised an eyebrow to the sight of his nickname.

“What challenge?”

“A whole day without any sort of communication between us.”

Kibum frowned confused. Was Jonghyun ditching him? Was he being too annoying?

Despite those thoughts, he decided to play along. “What would it be my reward?”

“I’d love you forever. (P.S – Our ring never leaves my finger, not even to rehearsals.)”

“Challenge accepted. By the way, when are you coming back?”

“The day after tomorrow. I’ll be at SM so wait for me at home.”

“I will. Bye, saranghae <3”

“Bye bye, saranghae my everything <3”
