Yesung never thought he’d feel this.  His heart was dead.  That’s what he thought.  It was supposed to be.  He’d had it broken too many times.  He would never be able to love again.  Not after what happened between him and Siwon.  When the younger boy had crushed his heart in his bare hands, the older man had sworn to never fall in love again.

But then he walked in.  Kim Kibum.  The charming boy with the blinding smile.  He’d wormed his way into his life, bringing him coffee in the morning, deliberately going out of his way to make him laugh.  When was the last time he’d had such a whimsical time?  Not since before Siwon.

He walked into the office as per normal, seeing the familiar turtle mug sitting on his desk, along with a loving note.

‘Morning Hyung.  Hope you have a good day.  How about lunch today?

And even if he had sworn not to fall again, Kim Kibum touched his heart a little too well.  And he took his first step, accepting the lunch date offer for the first time from the handsome boy in the next booth.
