Siwon – Tiffany

Many have told me that I must be crazy. Well these days, who isn’t? They say Siwon won’t ever comeback but I don’t believe them. I grab an umbrella as it was already snowing. I make a run for the park when we first met five years ago. I still remember him approaching me telling me that my shoes are untied and he begins kneeling down and fixes it for me. Cheesy, I know. But that’s how we met.

I still vividly remember on how he asked me to be his girl right on the same spot. I smile when I see the time – 4:07 pm – the exact time when he proposed. I know he’ll comeback, I just know he would. Only two years serving the military, right? But he was assigned to fight in the war against North Korea. But I know he would comeback someday. I just don’t know when. He stopped sending me letters though. No more gifts as well. The last letter I received was probably hmm, February 10. And I could barely remember what was in that letter. All I know was that I burned it.

I pause for a while.

That letter…

Ugh! It’s giving me a headache! I begin to yell hysterically.

I just realized…in that letter, it wasn’t him who sent it. It was their general saying that…that…that he was killed in the war! NO!

Just then, a bunch of nurses came in running to me, and injects a calming medicine that seems to make me sleep. I seem to be carried away.

What am I doing here again? I should be in the mental hospital right now.

“Miss Tiffany, you shouldn’t run away again,” she reprimands me.

I rub the nurses face and ask, “Siwon’s still coming back right?” I smile.
