"Are you sure you want to do this, Byul-ah?"

Kim Min-seok sighs, placing two slices of pancakes on his sister's plate before he hands it to her. The young girl faintly smiles and thanks him. "I'm worried that I'd be leaving you for a few months due to the drama shooting."

"I'll be fine, Oppa." Byulyi states while she absent-mindedly pours maple syrup on top of her pancakes. "Besides, I'll be staying over at Wheenie's apartment. Hyejinie is also living there."

"Careful." Min-seok sighs, urging Byulyi to stop pouring. "I'm just not keen on the idea that no one would look after you while I'm gone."

Byulyi frowns. "I would've been fine living alone for a few months but since you're worried, we compromised that I'd stay over at Wheenie's. It's a thirty minute drive from school and besides, Wheenie's aunt owns the place. She goes there a lot to cook for Wheenie and Hyejinie. Compensated, of course."

Min-seok nods, liking the idea that an adult will still be there to supervise the three young girls.

As his little sister has a small circle of friends, he has already know all of them by heart.

Jung Wheein and Ahn Hyejin are his little sister's juniors at school. They've only met last year but became really close due to their shared love for restaurant hunting.

His sister is also close with Kang Seulgi, a teammate in soccer. 

And of course two of her batchmates, Sandeul and Hani.

"C'mon, Oppa. I had always stayed home by myself growing up."

It can't be helped as Min-seok is working as an idol for a renowned boy group, EXO. He always had busy schedules ever since he was a trainee to the point that he no longer has enough time for other things.

A huge part of him regrets not seeing his beautiful and headstrong sister grow up but the income is more than enough to save for their future while they can live comfortably. It's his last promise to their parents before they passed away, leaving his sweet sister in his care.

"Oppa." Byulyi called excitedly, snapping him out of his thoughts. "Surprise!"

Byulyi is holding a cute cake with a sign that says 'Congratulations!' and a boy made of candy that is sitting on a director's chair.

"Congratulations on your first drama, Oppa!" Byulyi greets, urging him to blow out the candles.

Min-seok's eyes became glassy, overwhelmed with emotions. He has been reaching for his dreams all these time while Byulyi supports him wholeheartedly, not complaining one bit.

"Thank you, Byul-ah. Aigoo. I have the best sister in the whole world." Min-seok laughs, wiping his tears. "I promise I'll spoil you with everything I have!"

Byulyi laughs. "Thom Browne released their newest collection so.."

"Aigoo.."

"Wheein-ah," Byulyi greets her hoobae happily as soon as she answers her call. "Where are you?"

"Oh~ Looks like someone's in a good mood~" Wheein teased. "Did Xiumin Oppa already left for Italy?"

"Yes, I just drove him to the airport."

"Did he cry?" Wheein laughs. 

Only a few of her friends know that she's related to Min-seok. She doesn't really like telling people as some people already took advantage of that information in the past. She can't really blame them as EXO is at the height of their career but it doesn't mean that she didn't get hurt of the betrayal of the people she treated as her friends.
