A little while later, Jongup was on Yongguk and Zelo's porch, the plate of brownies in hand.  He was still in a good mood since Himchan really enjoyed the brownies. 

Jongup rang the doorbell cheerfully and waited for a response.  In no time, he heard someone yell "Hyung!" and excited footsteps running down the stairs.  The door suddenly swung open, revealing a very hyper curly headed Zelo. 

"Hello Jongup hyung!  Come in!  Yongguk hyung is just finishing dinner right now.  Can you smell it?  It's going to be delicious!" Zelo reached for Jongup's wrist to pull him inside, but then he noticed the brownies in Jongup's hands.

"I brought these for--" "Brownies!  Can I have one?  I love brownies!  I love anything chocolate, but hyung says I can't have them or I start talking to fast and being too hyper.  Did you make them yourself?  I wanna try one!" Zelo cut Jongup off, nearly jumping up and down. 

"Zelo, calm down!  I can hear you from here!" Yongguk yelled, presumably from the kitchen.  Jongup chuckled, amused by the ridiculously hyper child.  Zelo pouted, then grabbed Jongup's wrist and pulled him towards the kitchen. 

"Sorry, hyung!" Zelo said as Yongguk came into view.  The dining table, adjacent to the kitchen, had food piled on top of it.  It all looked freshly made and smelled wonderful.  It had been a while since Jongup had eaten a home cooked meal like this.  He remembered the last time being at his best friend Daehyun's house, when Mrs. Jung had made delicious bibimbap. 

Jongup stopped reminiscing when Zelo took the plate of brownies from his hands and set them on the counter. 

"Hello Jongup!  Go ahead and start eating," Yongguk said, grinning that gummy smile of his and handing the guest a plate and utensils.  Zelo and Yongguk grabbed their own plates and followed behind Jongup. 

But Jongup couldn't decide.  He was in heaven right now, surrounded by all this food.  "It all looks so delicious..." Jongup said, starting to take a little of everything. 

"I didn't know what you liked, so I made a lot of different things." Yongguk said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.  "I told hyung to make everything!  He's a great cook!" Zelo said, giving Jongup a thumbs up. 

After the boys all got their food, Yongguk suggested that they watch TV while eating.  Mr. Moon usually hogged the TV at home, so Jongup was excited to watch a show he wanted to. 

"Anything you want to watch, hyung?" Zelo asked, picking up the remote.  Jongup thought for a second.  "How about...Music Bank?  That's on now, right?" He said, just throwing out a name of a music show his friends always watched. 

"Sure!" Zelo turned the channel and suddenly, two blondes popped up on the screen. 

"Hello everyone!  I'm Daehyun!"  "And I'm Youngjae!" Jongup's eyes nearly popped out of his head.  It was his two best friends from Seoul.  Although their hair was now light blonde, Jongup could recognize his two best friends anywhere. 

"You okay?" Yongguk asked, noticing Jongup's change of expression. 

"Ah, yeah.  It's just...I know those guys.  They were my best friends before I moved here." Jongup muttered, eyes glued to the screen. 

"We just debuted, so please give us your support!" Daehyun and Youngjae said at the same time, bowing then waving cutely towards the camera.  Fans screamed excitedly at their aegyo. 

"Really?  That's cool, hyung!  Can you get me their autographs?  They're getting really popular!" Zelo bounced up and down in his seat. 

Jongup laughed and nodded.  "I'll see what I can do." "Thanks, hyung!"

The boys finished up their food and sat back in front of the TV, which was now playing various music videos. 

"Ah!  It's Secret!" Zelo started dancing cutely along to the girl group's song.  "You call that dancing?  Psh, let hyung show you!" Yongguk said, laughing as he got up and danced. 

"Come on, Jongup hyung!" Zelo said as he swayed his hips to the beat. 

Jongup was embarrassed, but he followed the girls' moves on the screen and quickly got the hang of it. 

Yongguk and Zelo stopped dancing and stared at Jongup.

"Wow!  I bet you could've debuted with Daehyun and Youngjae!  You're really good at dancing!" Yongguk complimented.  "Yeah!  Daebak!" Zelo added as boy group B1A4 came on the TV, "Dance to these guys!  They only debuted last year, but they're really good!"

Blushing, Jongup started dancing to "Baby I'm Sorry." For Jongup, it was easier to dance to because there was more of a beat.  He regretted not listening to music like this sooner. 

Yongguk and Zelo finally stopped gawking at Jongup's impressive dance skills and started dancing along with him again.  All three were pretty good, but the two younger ones seemed to really shine while dancing. 

"I can rap too!" Zelo said excitedly, impressively doing B1A4 member Baro's rap. 

Jongup's jaw dropped and he clapped, impressed with the younger boy's rapping skills.  Zelo bowed dramatically as the video ended.  This time the music video was Block B with "Nanlina."  Yongguk quickly jumped up and gently pushed Zelo down to sit on the couch. 

"I'll show you rapping." Yongguk said, bringing the remote to his face like a microphone.  Jongup took a seat by Zelo to watch.  Yongguk rapped Block B's own rappers Zico, Kyung, and P.O's parts with ease.  His deep voice matched the song well, especially P.O's part.  Jongup was blown away by how talented his two new friends were. 

"You guys could debut!" Jongup said suddenly, "That was amazing!"

Yongguk smiled, a little embarrassed by Jongup's compliment.  Jongup was envious.  His old friends and now his new friends were all so talented. 

"Thanks, hyung, but your dancing was daebak!" Zelo said, giving Jongup two thumbs up. 

"Can we watch more?" Jongup asked, smiling widely. 

"Of course!" Yongguk said, turning up the sound on the TV.  Jongup, Zelo, and Yongguk all excitedly danced, sang, and rapped again as another video played.    

Several music videos later, the boys were exhausted as they all collapsed on the couch. 

"I never knew dancing like that could be such a workout." Yongguk said, sounding very much like an old man.  "You're getting old, hyung!" Zelo teased.  "I'm...too tired to get you back right now." Yongguk sighed, causing Jongup and Zelo to burst into laughter. 

"Oh...it's already midnight." Jongup said, just now noticing the clock on the wall, "I should be getting home."

"Oh!  I didn't realize the time either.  Thanks for coming over, that was really fun!" Yongguk grinned as the three walked over to the door. 

"Thanks for the brownies too, hyung.  They look delicious!" Zelo chimed happily. 

"I hope you like them!  Thank you very much for dinner, Yongguk hyung!" Jongup bowed as Yongguk opened the door. 

Yongguk smiled, "It was nice having you over, so don't mention it. Feel free to come over any time!  Company is rare around here."

Jongup nodded and said bye one more time, but Yongguk stopped him as he turned to walk away.  "Yah, it's dangerous to walk around like this at night.  We'll take you back." Yongguk picked up a flashlight that was by the door while Zelo held up a lamp.  Jongup smiled, touched by their gesture.

The three walked along the dark road, laughing as they remembered Zelo dancing along to "Gee."  Soon, they were at Jongup's house. 

As soon as his house came into view, Jongup saw the porch light on and his father's car parked in front of the house.  Maybe his father had already gotten a job and was back to share the good news?  Jongup felt a smile appear on his face. 

"We'll see you later, Jongup hyung!" Zelo said, waving excitedly. 

"Thanks for walking me home!" Jongup said, bowing again. 

"Don't mention it!  Just come over again, okay hyung?" Zelo called as he and Yongguk started walking back to their house. 

Jongup waved until their lights had vanished behind the trees.  With a spring in his step, he walked up to his house, which seemed silent.

Jongup was about to open the door when it swung open, hitting him and knocking him onto the porch.  He looked up and saw his father, drunk.  Jongup gulped. 

It was not good news.
