A few weeks have passed since the club fair. Surprisingly, Minjeong and Jimin became close after the fair.

There were a few shy and awkward glances when they woke up. Jimin accidentally bumped her head when she realized she was practically sleeping against the smaller girl.

All it took was Jimin’s extroverted self inviting the other girl to explore the other fairs to erase the awkward tension.

Jimin signed up to a dance club, while Minjeong debated on either joining the music club or the homebody association club.

It was a tough decision but she eventually joined the music club after Ning Ning tore up the homebody association club’s application paper.

Coincidently, the two clubs rooms were close to each other in SMU’s Art building. Minjeong switched her recitation section to match Jimin’s so that she can walk with her to the building after class.

Anytime Aeri met up with Jimin she would see Winter right by her side. It was as if the girls were glued to each other.

“Are you sure nothing is going on between you two?” Aeri asked one night.

“What are you talking about?” Jimin replied.

“You two seem pretty close. And I mean close close.” Aeri emphasized the word close to get her point across to the girl.

“I’m close to everyone, Aeri. If you miss me just say that.”

Aeri scoffed, “Have you officially lost your mind?”

“Have you?”

“Huhh, everyone thinks that there is something between you two!”

“We’re literally just friends. The same way I’m friends with you and Ryujin!” Jimin argued back.

“Friends don’t throw love sick eyes to each other! Jimin, look I know you’re dense and it seems like Winter is too. But, I won’t let my ship sink just because you two think this is how friends act!”

Aeri picked up her phone and dialed someone.

“I need reinforcement fast,” Aeri shouted.

It didn’t take long before Jimin heard a knock on the door. Aeri got up and opened the door, revealing a now brown-haired Ning Ning.

“I came as soon as I heard your message. Has Jimin finally realized her feelings?” Ning Ning asked, as she got comfortable on Aeri’s bed.

“No, but we’re getting there!” Aeri said, putting on her detective clothes.

“I’ll play the good cop, you can play the bad cop. I refuse to let this ship sink like this.” Aeri turned off the light and shined her table light towards Jimin.

“Yu Jimin, you are in custody because of your denseness towards Winter.” Aeri began her interrogation.

“Are you guys drunk?” Jimin finally responded.

“Hush, you criminal! Now answer our question, do you have feelings for Winter? Yes or No?” Ning Ning asked aggressively.

“W-what?? Are you hearing yourself?”

“You didn’t answer the question!!” Ning Ning shouted, slamming her hands on the shared carpet.

“Jimin the only way you’re getting out of this is by telling us your feelings. Now answer officer Ning’s question or it’ll get ugly really quick.” Aeri said softly, playing into her good cop role.

Jimin chuckled, “This has to be a joke, right?”

“Hold me back officer Aeri, she’s just playing with us now!” Ning Ning was really immersed in her role.

“Yu Jimin, do you like Winter?” Aeri asked one last time.

“I-I don’t know.” Jimin answered back, she felt like she was corned by the two girls.

“That’s not a good enough answer!” Ning Ning yelled. Aeri looked at the brunette, totally shocked at how good the girl was playing her role.

“W-why are you yelling? I answered your question, did I not?” Jimin’s patience was slowly going down.

Aeri leaned down to Ning Ning’s ear, “Maybe I should take over?” She turned her attention back onto their “suspect”.

“How many hoodies did Winter “borrow” from you?” Aeri asked.

“…5.” Jimin softly said.

“And how many times has she slept over?”

“…3.”

Aeri sighed, “Do you ever get any funny feelings when you’re around her?”

Jimin didn’t answer immediately. She looked back at the last few weeks, and she had to admit that she has been feeling happier. And that’s because of her.

Does she get funny feelings when she’s around Winter? Of course she does.

But does she want to admit that right now? Not really, and that’s because she doesn’t want to ruin their perfect dynamic.

Jimin knows that she is slowly falling for the other girl. Whenever Winter gets clingy towards Jimin because she’s sleepy, her heart melts.

She doesn’t mind that she only has two hoodies left in her closet. In fact, Jimin’s loves it whenever Winter wears her hoodies. It almost felt like a possessive connection between the two.

And Jimin knows that friends don’t feel that about one another. But she refuses to have those feelings be exposed prematurely to these two goofballs.
