Kihyun is forced to have the two spend the night at a hotel so he can do the filming. He has a chat with his manager letting him know an edited version of things. The filming seems to take forever. He invites the other members of Monsta X over to see Hyejin and Ahn. Kihyun forces her to let him order out instead of cooking. Ahn becomes the highlight for the rest of them. Hyejin stays close to Kihyun though. He'd never been happier for her shyness to come through.

"Hyejin right?"

Hyejin nods, "Ahn is adorable. Kihyun said he was only one?"

"Yes. He's just one. Although his birthday is in the middle of the year so... Maybe older soon."

"Wow. How much is he able to speak?"

Ahn tries to climb up on the table. Minhyuk tries to gran him. Kihyun has to grab him and run around holding him. Jooheon grabs him from Kihyun playing rough with him. Hyejin keeps an eye on them scared. She wasn't use to roughhousing being done with Ahn beyond the light stuff that Kihyun did.

"Do you live nearby Hyejin? I thought maybe we could take you home when we leave. Kihyun said you don't drive."

Hyejin looks at Kihyun who pretends he didn't hear anything.

"...I'll leave later. It's easier to leave while Ahn is sleeping."

"We can wait."

Kihyun cuts in, "I'll take her later."

"You sure? I mean it's no problem."

Kihyun's voice firm, "I can take her."

I.M holds up his hands while Hyungwon looks at Kihyun surprised. None of his friends understanding why he was being like this. Somehow it rubbed him the wrong way for Hyungwon to be like that. Hyejin's fanfiction coming to mind. The description of the acts Hyungwon did to a woman. It reminded him vaguely of things she use to about. Things he never thought were ones that she could like... Things she might actually like now as an adult...

"Kihyun..." Hyejin touches his arm drawing his attention to her, "Calm down, please. Ahn doesn't like fighting or screaming..."

"Sorry. I'll remember promise."

Hyejin gives a small small before apologizing to the others. Minhyuk hands Ahn back to Hyejin wrinkling his nose. For all members of Monsta X to see Hyejin laughs, a real laugh. Not the polite noise she would give but a real from the heart laugh. Kihyun beams happy to hear it while the others are more affected by Ahn's diaper smell.

"I'll go change him in the other room. Not on the bed to save the blanket."

Hyejin leaves the room charting with Ahn. His babble sounding like he really was answering her. Once out of sight the others surround Kihyun.

"What is going on?"

"Thought you said she was just a friend."

"That doesn't look like friendship."

"Why are you letting her stay her? Won't you get in trouble?"

Kihyun blinks looking between them all. "Guys... Guys, calm down. I'm just helping her out. Her ex found out where she was staying."

"Why not a hotel? Why your place?"

"Why does it matter?"

"Because this could go so bad for both of you. What happens if the fans found out or if her ex exposes where she's been staying? Do you know what kind of scandal... Do you know how bad this could get for Ahn?"

"I know. But I'm not letting her live in fear or in the streets to avoid him. It hasn't effect me with schedules or her life."

"Yet."
