Everybody knows that the Shon family is very well respected and very much well mannered. If people were to look at the Shon family’s first born, you would think that the rest of the future children would follow suit as Son Seunghee was a very very obedient child.

But that’s not the case with Son Seungwan

“MAMA!!!!!!!!!!! CHUWAN’S MOUTH HAS BUBBLES!!!!!!!!!!”

You see, Seungwan is a very-very curious child. Very chaotic, very curious, very cheeky. Not problematic, just strangely chaotic. Huge difference from her big sister. Mama and Papa Shon did not regret having Seungwan as their second child, because that kid is just another bundle of joy. But sometimes, sometimes… all they wanted was a short break. It was never this hard to raise Seunghee

It started with a deodorant

Seungwan went running to her mother with foam coming out of . Mama Shon almost got a heart attack thinking that Seungwan might have tasted something inedible placed around the house, or worse, anything toxin.

“WHAT HAPPENED, SEUNGWAN?!”

“Chuwan tried mama’s lollipop and it did not taste good!”

“Lolilpop??? What do you mean lollipop??”

“This!”

“She ate a deodorant?????”

Joohyun’s mom stared at Mama Shon in shock, almost spitting out the coffee she was drinking. Yes, Seungwan ate a deodorant, or dodo-run, as what Seungwan calls it after learning what the stuff was. You see, when Seungwan entered her parent’s bedroom to get her mom’s purse, Seungwan saw a deodorant on the floor. It probably fell from the table, who knows? But Seungwan curiosity kicked in because it looked like a massive lollipop and decided to taste it. Only for to backfire causing foam forming in .

So now here they are, at Joohyun’s house, because Mama Shon needed a coffee break. Or maybe a little alcohol

“She thought it was candy” Mama Shon sighs

“Oh my god”

At the other side of the room, sat two best friends who were busy colouring and drawing on their respective papers. Joohyun drew a stick figure version of Seungwan while Seungwan was colouring a mini house where apparently she and Joohyun would be living in one day.

“Is Chuwan sick?”

Little Joohyun asked as she stared at her best friend. Because Seungwan had been coughing slightly and brought her koala water bottle with her to Joohyun’s house, and constantly taking a sip from it

“No… Chuwan is otay” Seungwan answered

“Chuwan is coughing” Joohyun looks at her worriedly

“Oh it’s nothing, Joonie! It’s because Chuwan’s mouth had bubbles just now”

Joohyun gasped

“CHUWAN CAN MAKE BUBBLES WITH CHUWAN’S MOUTH?”

“No, no… Chuwan ate a dodo-run”

Seungwan answered, still colouring her house with tongue sticking out of

“What’s a dodo-run?” Joohyun asked

“It is something big people put on their armpits!”

“Why would big people like mama and papa put things on their armpit?” Joohyun frowns

“Chuwan don’t know…”

Joohyun hummed and went back to drawing, adding a dog right next to stick figure Seungwan because Seungwan mentioned she would want to own a dog someday when she is big enough. Joohyun is afraid of animals, but when she saw the look Seungwan had and how her eyes lights up when she mentioned a puppy, little Joohyun reconsidered her choices and decided that maybe she should let Seungwan get a puppy as long as her friend kept smiling

Maybe little Joohyun was just afraid that Seungwan might not want be friends with her anymore if she were to disagree about owning a pet.

But Seungwan is not like that

“Mmm, what does a dodo-run looks like?” Joohyun asked

Seungwan stopped colouring and taps her lip with the crayon, thinking hard

“It was round on top and it has a handle!” Seungwan answered

“A lollipop?”

“It looks like a lollipop, that’s why Chuwan tasted it. But it does not taste like a lollipop” Seungwan pouted

“Mmmm, maybe Joonie should try it”

“But Joonie! Mama said it’s wrong to eat a dodo-run!”

“But Chuwan ate it and Chuwan is otay!” Joohyun said

“Yes, but Chuwan is coughing because of dodo-run”

“Then Joonie should try it too so we can be sick together!”

Kids… really…

“Otay… but Chuwan don’t have a dodo-run now” Seungwan hums

“It’s otay, let’s check if Joonie’s mama got a dodo-run too”

“Okie!”

And so they stopped colouring as little Joohyun pulls Seungwan up and brought her to he parent’s bedroom in search of the massive bubble lollipop Seungwan told her about. Because if Joohyun were to be sick, she might as well be sick with Seungwan. And maybe that’s not so bad after all

Or maybe….

“MAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!! JOONIE’S MOUTH HAS BUBBLES!!!!!!!!!”
