"Guys! How are you?" Jihyo happily greeted once she arrived at the cafe they all agreed to meet at. 

 

Momo playfully rolled her eyes. "If you just asked us to meet you here just to be late and to borrow money, I swear I'll turn you down real bad!"

 

"Right, me too! I have no money" Mina teased as she chuckled.

 

Jihyo dramatically held her chest as if she was hurt by the judgement of her friends. She drank her coffee before crossing her arms and glare at Momo and Mina who seemed to be enjoying teasing her. 

 

"I'm not like that and you both know that! I'm already hesitating if I should invite you or not"

 

Momo shot up her brows as if already sensing that there's "food" on that invitation. She sat up straight and smiled cutely at Jihyo. 

 

"Oh, what kind of invitation is that our pretty Jihyo?"

 

Jihyo squinted her eyes at her and Mina just laughed while watching the two. "Well, it's Jeongyeon's birthday next Saturday and she said I could also invite my friends"

 

"Wait!" Mina butted in, surprised. "Jeongyeon as in the Yoo Jeongyeon?!"

 

"Uh, yeah?"

 

"I thought you didn't gave her a chance?! So are you together now and I didn't even know?!"

 

"Calm your pretty down, Mitang. They're still not together" Momo then leaned in to whisper to Mina. "They're just buddies, you know? Jeongyeon won't give her a damn label"

 

"Yah! Momoring!" Jihyo shouted and thrown a crumpled tissue paper. "We're... we're happy okay?!"

 

Mina shook her head in disbelief upon hearing that hot tea. "Is being happy a label now? But oh well, you do you. I don't know if I can come, I have a work"

 

"No, no, no, my dear friend. You're not using work as an excuse for this. It's Saturday Mina, come on!"

 

Momo put her arms around Mina's shoulder and tapped it. "Loosen up, Mina. You're working too much. This is just like once in a blue moon party you're gonna attend"

 

"Fine. I can't still say yes but I'll think about it" Mina finally gave in, defeated.

 

"Alright! That's our girl. Who knows? Maybe you'll meet someone there who'll help you end your boring single life"

 

"Jihyo, trust me. Even if Mina will meet someone, she won't be interested" Momo teased so Mina elbowed her. 

 

"Why? Don't tell me.. oh my God! You're still crushing over Im Nayeon don't you?!"

 

"What the hell?! Of course, no! It was long wayyy over. Just during our college days okay"

 

Jihyo and Momo both shook their heads. 

 

"No. We're not believing you. But sadly, I heard from Jeongyeon that Nayeon and her girlfriend are still together"

 

Mina cleared and sipped on her coffee. 

 

"Then that's good for them. They really suit each other. Everyone from our college department knows them and they would agree with me" Mina nodded at herself. "That crushing period was long way o-over"

Nayeon together with her workmates slash friends Jeongyeon and Dahyun are at their company's cafeteria eating their lunch. She's still busy typing on her laptop even during their lunch break when Jeongyeon disturbed her and closed it. 

 

"Hey! I'm editing my report" Nayeon glared at it. 

 

"Your work won't run from you and it's lunch break and I have something to tell you guys!"

 

Dahyun looked at her in a bored expression as if she's already so done with Jeongyeon. "What another lame joke are you gonna tell us, Jeong?"

 

"Right! We're getting tired of your antics you're just wasting my precious time"

 

"Don't mock me like that as if you guys didn't even laugh at my jokes!" Jeongyeon grinned. "Anyway, you're invited at my birthday party. Because I have no choice but to invite you"

 

"When?" Nayeon asked with a serious face. 

 

"What when, Nabong?! Are you serious? You! You also don't know?" She pointed at Dahyun and the latter just shrugged while calming herself not to laugh. Jeongyeon's face was plastered with so much disappointment. 

 

"But thanks for the invitation though. I'll go!" Dahyun shamelessly said. 

 

"No, no! I can't believe I'm friends with the two of you" Jeongyeon stood up as if she's ready to walk out. "I'm out of here"

 

"Wait, wait" Nayeon held her wrist to stop her while laughing loudly. "We were just teasing you, ! I know that it's on Saturday"

 

"How can I forget your birthday when I'm always anticipating for it because you give so many alcohols!"

 

Jeongyeon pouted as she sat back down. "Really, Dahyun? Just alcohol? I bet you're just gonna flirt with all the girls there!"

 

"And that, too" Dahyun even winked at her. 

 

"And you, make sure you're gonna show up okay?" Jeongyeon pointed at Nayeon. "You can also bring Sana. It's been a while since I saw the two of you together. 

 

Nayeon's face suddenly changed upon hearing Sana's name, her longtime girlfriend. She suddenly stared blankly on the closed laptop in front of her as her mind traveled to Sana and how their relationship is going right now. 

 

Jeongyeon and Dahyun noticed it and they look at each other as if sending signals and knowing exactly what happened to Nayeon. Their friend is always open to them specially to her own feelings and on whatever is happening on her life. 

 

Apparently, Nayeon and Sana's relationship is on the rocks right now as they were both busy with work and they don't even have the time to see each other. But Nayeon always insisted that even if she's tired the whole day with her work, she always make the effort to at least see Sana. They know how Nayeon always try to persuade Sana to meet up with her or just pick her up from work only to get rejected by her own girlfriend. 

 

Nayeon always say that she understands Sana because maybe she's just also that tired. She always says that Sana will always make it up to her whenever she's being turned down like that. Nayeon is just that too inlove with Sana that she's getting blinded by all the flaws and red flags Sana was giving her. 

 

Jeongyeon and Dahyun don't want to meddle with the couple's problem but sometimes they just want too everytime they see Nayeon being sad and almost not herself. Just like right now. 

 

"Hey, are you okay?" Dahyun asked which caused Nayeon to blink twice and look at them and smile. 

 

"Yeah. I'll.. I'll try to ask Sana if she wants to come. I think she's, uh, busy"

 

Jeongyeon scoffed. Pissed. "When is your girlfriend not busy? Really, Nayeon what's happening with the both of you? Are you guys going to continue this?" 

 

Nayeon smiled again but.. her eyes doesn't. "We will be okay, Jeong. We'll meet tomorrow, I'll fix things up. Don't worry"

 

But Nayeon just wanted to tell it to herself. To not worry. Because even she herself is getting scared and she doesn't even know why. All she want is for their relationship to get back to what it used to be. Not like this. 

 

Nayeon loves Sana so much and she's scared of losing her. Not now, never.

The next day, Nayeon is already waiting for Sana outside the building where she works at. Nayeon get off her work more early than usual just so she could arrive on time. She was minutes early before Sana clocked out and that was a big relief for Nayeon. 

 

Six years of dating each other and Nayeon could say that they already know each other too well. Nayeon always makes sure to never get late whenever they had to meet up because she knows damn well how much Sana hates waiting for a long time. 

 

For Nayeon, it's okay if she's the one to wait than to be waited by Sana. The last thing she wants right now is them fighting. She wants to fix things up today and that's her goal. 

 

Five minutes past five and she could already see Sana walking out from the building. Nayeon couldn't help but to stare at her gorgeous girlfriend walking like a model and looking damn hot in that office outfit. 

 

Nayeon gulped hard as she shook her head for some unwanted thoughts. Really, Nayeon? You had the audacity to get right now?!But then again, she just can't help but to adore Sana. Nayeon just misses her girlfriend so much and seeing her again after a long time makes her giddy and nervous.

 

From the inside, Nayeon reached for the door on the front seat once she saw that Sana is almost here. As soon as she opened it, Nayeon gave a bright smile when Sana and her eyes met. All her worries vanished when she saw that smile, the smile from Sana that made her fall deeper. 

 

"Hi baby!" Nayeon happily greeted but Sana became distracted. She's looking at something on her side and her facial expression changed. "Baby? Hey, Sana"

 

Nayeon got worried and she tried to look at what Sana was looking at but all she could see are cars. Sana turned to her and smiled again, but this time it was a different one. 

 

Sana leaned in to give her a small peck on the lips as soon as she's seated. "Hi! I miss you, baby"

 

"I know, and I miss you so much more" Nayeon caressed Sana's hair and kissed her forehead. "Shall we go?" Sana nodded and she drove off. 

 

A slow music is playing from the car's radio as they were on their way on Sana's place. It helped to make the dull and silent atmosphere become alive. Nayeon kept on glancing onto Sana who became unusually quiet. She's just staring blankly at the car's window while biting her thumb. As what Nayeon know, she just does that when she's anxious. 

 

"Hey, baby.." Nayeon held Sana's other hand that's resting on her lap. She seemed to flinch a little by the sudden touch but Nayeon shrugged it off. "Are you okay? You're so quiet. I'm getting scared"

 

"I'm sorry, I'm fine. Don't worry" Sana removed her hand from Nayeon's because she grabbed her bag and tried to find something inside. But for Nayeon, it looks like just an excuse to be freed from her touch. 

 

Nayeon cleared and tried to focus on driving despite of thinking too much to it. "Are you sure?"

 

"Yes, I'm just tired" Sana put down her bag again and didn't get anything. She glanced at Nayeon and half-smiled. "Can we talk later? I'm sleepy. Please wake me up if we're already home"

 

When they got off the car, Nayeon immediately held Sana's hand as they walked to the elevator. Sana was kinda hesitant that she kept pulling her hands off but Nayeon held it tighter. 

 

"Nayeon, people are looking" Sana whispered in a gritted teeth. 

 

Nayeon looked at her with a mug face and pulled her inside the elevator. "Baby, since when did we care about other people?"

 

Sana became speechless after that. Nayeon let go of her hand and placed her hand on Sana's back, sliding it to her waist. Gently caressing it. Nayeon received a death glare from Sana along with a pinch on her hand but she just laughed it off, as if enjoying every bit of it. 

 

As soon as they entered Sana's pad, the moment she closed the door, Nayeon already pinned her. Nayeon kissed her softly and gently until it gradually gets aggressive that it made Sana go all weak on her knees, dropping her bag on the floor. 

 

Sana encircled her arms on Nayeon's shoulder, deepening the kiss. While Nayeon was also busy with her hands ing Sana's office suit one by one. Her other hand is on Sana's hip and leg, caressing it and making the skirt go up. 

 

"Why are you so off and moody today, hmm?" Nayeon asked in between their kisses. "Don't you know that you're so hot in this ing suit?"

 

Sana groaned as she heard Nayeon cursing. It was always such a turn on for her. "I.. I'm just.. tired" she struggled for words to answer because Nayeon seemed to don't want to let go of her lips. 

 

"Oh, so you're tired" Nayeon left her lips at last and her kisses traveled down Sana's neck. She blowed on it and which made Sana bit her lip, real hard. "Then, you don't want to do it?"

 

Sana groaned painfully once again and kissed Nayeon herself as she pushed her to wall towards the living room. The next thing they knew, they were all over their bodies. Sharing the heat and the warmth as they are huddled on the couch. Nayeon was smiling from ear to ear while caressing Sana's hair who's still panting with eyes closed in her arms. 

 

From that moment Nayeon was so sure that her goal from that day was already achieved. She felt how much they missed each other so much, on how much they still love each other. Nayeon was convinced that nothing really changed between them. That it was just all those stress and hectic works that's making them have a misunderstanding. And nothing more. 

 

Just like what they always do after a hot make out session, the two of them are outside the balcony with their robes on. Admiring the night view with their lit cigarettes and a glass of wine. 

 

They were both leaning on the railings then Nayeon turned to look at Sana. "Baby, do you know how happy am I tonight?" Nayeon said with a beaming smile. "And I wanna thank you for that. Thank you for agreeing to see me"

 

Sana was looking down, watching the glass that she's twirling. "You don't have to thank me for that. You know that I'll always make it up to you" Sana smiled but it didn't reach her eyes. "I'm happy too"

 

A lot of things are running on Nayeon's mind once again but she already convinced herself to not look deeper into it. She already marked her mind that nothing's wrong and Sana's just tired. And lastly, Nayeon doesn't want to ruin this already perfect night. 

 

"Anyway, it's Jeongyeon's birthday on Saturday"

 

Sana shot up and looked at her again. "Oh, is it on Saturday already? I thought it's next month, goodness it slipped my mind"

 

"It's okay, not that big of a deal" Nayeon chuckled. "She's throwing a party, as usual. And you and I are invited-"

 

Nayeon were cut off because Sana's phone rang. She watched as her girlfriend widened its eyes upon seeing the caller. "Wait. I'll be back"

 

Then, Sana ran off inside. As much as Nayeon wants to know who it is or to know what they're gonna talk about, she restrained herself. Instead she just busied herself on messaging Jeongyeon and Dahyun, she boasted that she already fixed everything with Sana. Her friends teased and congratulated her, asking her to buy drinks. Nayeon couldn't help but to laugh and shake her head. 

 

Nayeon waited for a bit long before Sana came back again. She had an unreadable face and out of nowhere, that made fear and nervousness creep on the pit of Nayeon's stomach. 

 

"Hey, you okay?"

 

Sana was clenching her fist, looking down. As soon as she stared at Nayeon, her eyes were dead. 

 

And Nayeon heard the lines she was so afraid to hear, because Nayeon knows that it'll make her whole world crumble. 

 

"Nayeon, let's breakup"
