Falling For The Bad Boy

ELINA

"What the fu-k?" Taehyung yelled, clenching his fists on the side.

His lips twitched in distaste and all he did was to stare at me with his eyes fuming in anger.

Well...Serves you right!

I tolerated enough of your bull. It's time for me to stand up for myself. Curse me for believing that you're not that bad when you're already worse. It might be fun for you to humiliate me in front of the whole school by saying that we slept together but for me it wasn't just a joke.
I don't want to be labelled as your one time fling, your toy or any other pathetic nicknames.

"You will regret this, I promise." He hissed.

I let out a humourless laugh then turned around to leave but before that could happen, I felt him grabbing my wrist.

"Taehyung, don't-" Jungkook tried to warn him.

"Stay away from it, Jungkook." He deadpanned.

I tried to wriggle my wrist from his hold but instead he pulled me to other side of the park.

"Are you crazy? Leave my hand-" I whispered.

He pushed me against the nearest wall which made me wince in pain. I looked around in nervousness and realized that there was no-one near us.

I tilted my head up and found his face dangerously close to mine. Although I was freaking out from inside but I couldn't ignore the fact that with ice-cream sticking over his mouth and nose, he looked funny.

His warm breath fanned all over my face when he slightly parted his lips. My heart accelerated at an abnormal pace and something weird twisted in my abdomen.

I held my breath when he dipped his head low and his soft lips brushed against my cheeks.

A shiver ran down my spine and I couldn't help but press my eyes shut. I felt his arms getting wrapped around my waist. Butterflies burst into my belly at his touch and something in me wondered that what it would like to kiss him. To kiss the boy who's nothing but trouble.

He pressed his lips against the corner of my mouth and I felt my legs going jelly. To stop myself from falling on the ground, I clutched his shirt in-between in my fists and I dared to open my eyes.

I blinked, realising the intimacy of our situation and my body stiffened. It was as if somebody poured a bucket of cold water over my head.

Quickly I pushed him away with all the strength that I've got and let out a deep breath which I was holding from so long.

Uh. Okay. Woah! What the hell was that feeling? I was so close to kissing him-

I shook my head to clear my every thoughts and shifted my attention to him.

He smirked, witnessing my flushed state but didn't say anything.

After wiping the ice-cream sticking to his face, he threw a wink at me and with that he walked away.

I pressed my palm against the skin of my cheeks where he had his lips and found it heating up in embarrassment.

Fu-king hell!

Wake up Elina for God's sake! How could you lose control infront of that person who's trying his best to mess up your life?

I gritted my teeth in frustration and facepalm myself.

Such an idiot you're, Elina!

I decided to go back after my nerves calmed down a little.

When I saw that and Jungkook talking about something, I couldn't help but stop in my track to hear their conversation.

"What's wrong with you, dude? Why are you doing this?" Jungkook asked.

"And now you're taking her side? You are forgetting about your best friend already?" Taehyung faked a frown but soon he burst out laughing.

"This isn't funny Tae. You know everything yet you're doing all this?" Jungkook sighed.

"It was just a joke, man. It ain't like I actually slept with your girlfriend." Taehyung shrugged his shoulders.

Wow! He's disgusting.

I rolled my eyes and went closer to them. I cleared my throat to grab jungkook's attention. "Thank you for today, I guess I should head back home." I tried to smile but failed miserably.

He nodded. "Take care."

Through my periphery I found Taehyung gaze on me but I choose to ignore him.

Stepping out of the park, I made my way towards the restaurant where I work.

I still couldn't believe that I was actually thinking of kissing that jerk.

Ew. Gross.

Says the girl who was enjoying the warmth of his lips against her cheeks.

My inner concise mocked me and I couldn't help but roll my eyes.

Wow Elina!

"Why so grumpy, sweetheart?" Dustin, my coworker asked as soon as he saw me.

"Hey buddy." I waved at him, ignoring what he asked.

He made a sour face. "Fine. Ignore me."

I sighed.

Dustin isn't just my coworker. He's much more than that. I know him since couple of years and he's someone on whom I can easily count on. It's my bad luck that he goes to different school.

"It's Taehyung." I whispered, clamping my hands together.

He raised his eyebrows in surprise. "Kim Taehyung?"

Off course, he knows that who Taehyung is. After all that bastard is quite popular among the high schoolers.

I nodded. "Well- It's just that he annoys me." I lied.

"You're lying. Your face says that there's something more. But it's okay if you don't want to tell me." He patted my shoulder.

I didn't feel like talking to him about Taehyung. I mean there's no way in hell that I'm going to tell him everything. He's not sweet like Jungkook. Most probably he'll laugh his off.

Yeah, I know Dustin is nice but there's something which he loves to do; irritate me.

I was about to go and take orders when my phone buzzed with a notification. I took it out from my pocket and tapped on the Instagram icon.

The notification popping out that Kim Taehyung tagged me in a post.

I forrowed my eyebrows together in confusion and hesitantly opened the post.

It was a selfie clicked by him; a picture of us in which I had my eyes shut and his lips were pressed against the corner of my mouth.

With a caption that reads- "Oh baby, your lips are divine."
