"Stop!"

    SinB's voice growled out, the hybrid firmly biting down on Yerin's shoulder while her cat ears laid flat against her head in irritation. Yerin paused what she was doing and let out a sigh. She couldn't even attempt to continue or respond before Eunha joined in, a small hiss exiting as she spoke.

"You're hurting her!"

"You know that's not true, Eunha." Yerin said, turning her head to focus back on Yuju, running her fingers through the long black haired cat hybrid's bangs softly. The mentioned girl had her eyes shut and was close to falling asleep, her calm mood unable to be changed even with the other two cat hybrid's practically yelling and whining desperately.

"Stop it!" SinB protested again while she continued to bite down on the older girl's shoulder. 

"All I'm doing is t her hair like I did to both of yours." Yerin replied with a small chuckle, unfazed by SinB's bites as she carefully trimmed off another small section of Yuju's bangs with her scissors, taking the clipped pieces of black hair and throwing them away in the trashcan sitting nearby, the loose strands joining other different colored loose strands inside. SinB and Eunha seemed to grow even more distressed at the sight, both hybrids cat ears flat against their heads.

Neither hybrid reacted well when 'grooming day' came around. But since Sojung and Yewon were coming over the next day, Yerin wanted her girls to look as best as they could when the time came. But if this behavior was continuing with her doing this small of a task again, Yerin was already sure that the upcoming bath time would be even more of a struggle than it usually was. Except when it came to SinB. For some reason, the girl never seemed to mind water too much. Eunha and Yuju were another story, though.

"I don't like it." Eunha whined loudly, tugging at Yerin's arm to try and get her to stop. Thankfully, Yerin was already finished with Yuju's hair. The older girl ruffled Yuju's hair and cat ears gently once she was certain that the hybrid's bangs were the proper length and even, earning a small purr from Yuju within seconds. Yerin smiled, smoothing down Yuju's hair before standing up to put away her hair tools and set the trash can back in the kitchen where it belonged.

Once Yerin was away from Yuju, the other two cat hybrids immediately moved in close, inspecting Yuju carefully with their cat tails swishing back and forth nervously behind them.

"Are you okay?" SinB was the one to ask first, wide eyes scanning over the other hybrid. 

"I'm fine, SinB." Yuju laughed slightly, her purring still rumbling in and growing stronger as SinB and Eunha both pushed in closer to finish their 'examinations'.

"You're not hurt?" Eunha asked, her cat ears lifting up slightly. 

"I'm not hurt." Yuju shook her head, SinB's hands running through the cat hybrid's long black hair to check what Yerin had done to it. "You know it doesn't hurt, Eunha."

   Eunha only huffed at that before resting her head against Yuju's shoulder, wrapping her arms around Yuju's forearm and keeping close. SinB had finished what she had been doing and climbed onto Yuju's lap, loudly purring as she situated herself so she could wrap her arms around the other cat hybrid's torso. Yuju seemed more than happy that her friends were practically curled against her, her purr growing in volume and matching SinB's. Eunha was purring softly, rubbing her cheek against Yuju's arm possessively.

"Such silly girls." Yerin said with a small laugh as she joined the three back on the floor, reaching up and running her hands through SinB and Eunha's also freshly trimmed hair. Eunha let out a tiny whine while SinB only continued to purr, her face pressed against Yuju's cheek while her cat ears twitched around.

"I know that wasn't fun. I'm sorry." Yerin continued. "And this next part isn't going to be fun either but it wont be that bad."

Eunha and Yuju seemed to freeze at that sentence while SinB barely reacted, still nuzzling against Yuju's face. Yuju's eyes were widening, matching Eunha's as the two hybrids stared at Yerin in nervious expectation. Yerin let out another sigh. Yeah, this was going to be difficult like she expected it to be.

"Come on, its time for a bath-"

   Yerin had barely gotten the words out when both Eunha and Yuju moved away from SinB and darted off in different directions in the apartment, cat ears flat against their heads as the two cat hybrids frantically looked for places they could hide. SinB looked annoyed that Yuju had left, her purr disappearing just as quickly as it had arrived.

Yerin couldn't help but laugh. It always was such a funny sight to see the usually calm Yuju and eager Eunha run off like they were being chased by a bear or something in reaction to when bath time came around. When the first 'grooming day' had happened in the past, Yerin had fully expected SinB to be the main one to run away from a bath, considering how the girl reacted to any other type of 'grooming'. It had been such a shock when Yuju and Eunha had been the ones to react like a typical cat would instead of her.

"Alright, I guess you're first, SinB." Yerin said with a small chuckle, holding her hand out towards the cat hybrid. SinB still looked annoyed but she took Yerin's hand even so. As the two walked towards the bathroom and past the bedroom, Yerin spotted a poofy, brown colored cat tail sticking out from under her bed. Yerin laughed to herself at the sight, immediately recognizing that the tail belonged to Eunha.

Sure, she felt bad that the other two hybrids were scared but it was just too cute at the same time. At least she knew where Eunha was hiding. Yuju was probably around the same area as well. Maybe she had joined Eunha under the bed and was just farther back in the space under it. Wherever the hybrid was, she could deal with it later.

SinB tended to misbehave normally but in water she was calm, allowing Yerin to wash her hair, face, cat ears, tail and even her back without so much of a grumble. Even so, Yerin made sure to keep the process gentle and slow, not wanting to accidently scare SinB and cause her to have a bad experience in the water. It was always a fear in the back of Yerin's mind, that she would accidently do something to make SinB uncomfortable and ruin her calmness in water. But the small purr rumbling in SinB's chest as her cat ears were washed with the warm water was enough to ease Yerin's mind. 

"All done." Yerin sang out, wrapping a fluffy towel around SinB as she helped her out of the tub. SinB was still quietly purring but she let out a small whine when Yerin sat her down on the bathroom floor to help her get dry. This was always the part that SinB didn't like since her cat ears and tail tended to be a bit more on the sensitive side, especially to the hot air of Yerin's hairdryer. 

"I'll try to do this as fast as I can, okay?" Yerin patted SinB's cheek reassuringly, giving the cat hybrid her best smile. SinB whined again but allowed Yerin to start the process without a hiss, closing her eyes tightly as she braced herself for the weird sensation of her cat ears being dried. 

Yerin carefully blow dried SinB's medium length dark brown hair before moving on to the cat ears on top of her head. She held the blow dryer a bit father back so the hot air wasn't as harsh, fingers running against the brown colored fur to get any excess water off. SinB was whining for the third time but even so, the hybrid tried her best to keep her cat ears in their normal position, knowing that the process would only take longer if her cat ears twitched around or lowered against her head. She had definitely learned her lesson from the first and only time that had happened. 

Once Yerin had finished drying her hair and cat ears, SinB allowed the older girl to help her get properly dressed and back on her feet, her cat tail still wet with the bathwater. SinB seemed like she was trying to sneak away towards the bathroom door but Yerin firmly gripped her arm, not letting her get out of reach. SinB tried to pull away but it was useless. Yerin was strong and the grumpy cat hybrid had no other choice but to give in and let the final step of the process play out. 

"I'm almost done. Just stay still." Yerin gave SinB's cheek a quick, tiny kiss before taking the blow dryer back into her hand. SinB grumbled but obeyed, her eyes nervously darting around the room. Yerin made sure to keep her hands gentle while remaining firm at the same time, slowly running the hot air against the dark brown fur on SinB's tail to get it as dry as the hybrid would allow her to. After a few minutes, SinB pulled away, her tail twitching around behind her as she turned to face Yerin with another loud whine. That was fine. Yerin had succeeded in getting most of her tail fluffy and dry again. 

"Good girl." Yerin said with a smile, turning off and putting the hair dryer back on the bathroom sink for later. After she had done that, Yerin wrapped her arms around SinB tightly in order to continue her praising. SinB had done even better handling her cat ears and tail being dried this time than last time and that was the perfect excuse to give the hybrid some extra love and attention.

  "You did so good. You're such a good kitty, SinB." Yerin cooed, kissing SinB's cheeks over and over again. Normally, if the other two cat hybrids were around, SinB would have immediately pulled away and grumbled. But since they were alone, SinB let herself lean into Yerin's lips on her cheek, purring loudly and happily as her hands clutched at Yerin's sweater. Yerin grinned, stopping her kisses and taking the time to run her fingers through SinB's soft hair, styling it properly and making sure no strands were out of place. SinB only leaned into the touch even more, her purr growing louder and louder.

Yerin wanted nothing more than to linger in this moment, to take it in as long as she could since it was only during these times that SinB really fully let her affectionate side come out. But there were still two other girls that needed to get clean. 

"Let's get the others now, okay?" Yerin pressed one last kiss against the other girl's cheek, SinB's now fluffy cat ears twitching happily on the hybrid's head. SinB seemed like she didn't want to move away either but allowed Yerin to take her hand again, leading her outside the bathroom and into the kitchen. SinB seemed confused on why they were in the kitchen instead of the living room until the sight of Yerin taking something out of the freezer caught the cat hybrid's eye.

It was the cat hybrid's favorite flavor of ice cream that was always stored away in the freezer for special occasions.

SinB's eyes lit up once the ice cream was scooped out and placed into a bowl, Yerin unable to stop grinning as she placed the full bowl of the colorful cotton candy flavored ice cream in front of the hybrid. SinB seemed like she wanted to place her hands in the bowl to scoop up the frozen treat as fast as she could but she waited for Yerin to hand her a spoon, hands shaking excitedly as she immediately dug in.

"Enjoy it, okay? You earned it." Yerin said as she pressed a kiss against SinB's forehead. SinB was distracted by her treat and Yerin couldn't help but watch the girl eat away for a few seco
