"I always love how you hold your alcohol level," jeongyeon said while looking at Jihyo who is holding a glass of whiskey.
Both were sitting opposite the fireplace and jeongyeon never failed to steal a glance from Jihyo.
"That's one thing I got from my dad" she grinned.
"It's been such a long time since we last talked like this. I've missed you more than words can express"
"yeah" she sipped her drink "Your friendship meant a lot to me, and it still does. I cherish the memories we shared together."

Jeongyeon put her glass on the table and turned to her "Jihyo, I know you've been through a lot, and you aren't over dahyun but.....you were always on my mind. I need to be honest with you, though. When I told you about having a girlfriend, it was a lie. I wanted to protect our friendship, and I didn't want you to think I was still holding onto something that didn't exist between us"
"Jeongyeon, I... I didn't expect that. I thought you had moved on, and found happiness with Tzuyu. It hurt to think that I might have lost you forever."

"I understand why you would think that, but the truth is, I never stopped caring for you. Even though I knew you didn't love me back, my feelings for you never faded. You were always in my heart, no matter the distance or time. I know it might sound crazy, but I still love you."

Jihyo wasn't speaking anything...

"I'm willing to wait, All I know is that when I saw you Yesterday after all these years, my heart skipped a beat like old times And if you're willing to give me a chance, I promise I'll make every effort to make it work."

"Jeongyeon, I don't know what to say. I... I need to be honest with you too. I love Dahyun deeply, even though I knew she didn't feel the same way. It is painful, but I couldn't help how I feel. I don't know if I can ever move on from dahyun"

Jihyo held Jeongyeon's hand
"I can't deny that I still care for you deeply"

Jihyo was on the edge whose eyes filled with tears already.

Tears made their way as Jihyo knows deep down she feels something for this girl which isn't a mere friendship she never gave a chance to her heart to think about others than dahyun..maybe? It's time for her to choose herself? She thought.

Jeongyeon slowly took her in her arms and hugged the short girl.
"I... I need some time to process everything. This is a lot to take in. But I can't deny that deep down, there has always been something between us."

Jihyo took a step forward to whatever the beginning of her life with Jeongyeon.

Dahyun got one rental car and when she was about to go towards the Driving seat, Mina snatched the keys.

"Oh ho! I'll drive" Dahyun nodded and went to the passenger seat and the maps in the car.
"Alright, buckle up, Myoi! We're off to that restaurant, but let's hope our late-night food adventure doesn't end up with us needing a tow truck instead."
"Trust me, Dahyun, I've been practicing my driving skills. I can dodge potholes like a pro now! No need to worry about those tow trucks."
"Well, as long as you don't mistake the gas pedal for the brake pedal, we should be good. Remember, we're aiming for the restaurant, not the record for the fastest lap time." Dahyun joked.
"Don't worry, Dahyun. I promise I won't channel my inner race car driver tonight. Safety first, always!" Mina smirked.

Somewhere dahyun is scared and assures herself Mina will drive well and she just wants to make herself calm...
Dahyun spots a squirrel crossing the road.

"watch out Myoi, for that squirrel! It's on a mission to conquer the world. I swear those little critters have a secret plan."
"Oh no, not the squirrel revolution! Don't worry, I'll perform an evasive maneuver to avoid their tiny tyranny. No squirrel shall conquer us!"

Dahyun lets out a laugh as Mina skillfully swerves around the squirrel.
"Nice move, Myoi! You've just saved us from a squirrel uprising. Now I believe I could count on you"

Mina raised an eyebrow and shot a proud smile
"It's all part of my master plan to protect humanity from those sneaky squirrels. I won't let them catch us off guard!"
"You're a true hero, Myoi. The fearless protector of car rides and squirrel-free journeys. Is there anything you can't do?"
Mina pretends like she was thinking
"Well, I'm still working on parallel parking. Let's just say it's an ongoing battle. But don't worry, I'll conquer that challenge too, one day!"
"Ah, the dreaded parallel parking. It's like the final boss of driving skills. But hey, as long as you don't park on top of another car, I'll consider it a success."
Both chuckled
"Deal! No car stacking allowed. We'll find a parking spot that won't raise any eyebrows or result in an impromptu car pyramid."

Dahyun and Mina arrive at the restaurant, laughing and enjoying the ride.
"We made it in one piece, Myoi! I have to say, that was one adventurous car journey. Ready for some late-night culinary exploration?" Dahyun unbuckled her seat belt.
"Absolutely! Let's go, Dahyun. Time to satisfy our taste buds and create more unforgettable memories. But first, let me just check for any rogue squirrels around."
They both burst into laughter, heading into the restaurant, ready for a night of delicious food and hilarious moments.

After they ate, they slowly walked outside.
"So? You forgave me?" Dahyun asked expecting a yes while moving towards the car to open the door for Mina but she cut her off.
"Let's walk" Mina shouts walking forward and leaving Dahyun behind.
Dahyun looked at the car once and turned back to see the girl who is already a few steps ahead.
Dahyun is walking behind Mina. She noticed Mina trembling, dahyun took a few long steps and held Mina's arm, Mina halted her steps and turned to see dahyun who was removing her jacket.

"It's cold, I think we should head back,myoi" dahyun said after adjusting her jacket on Mina.
"I like it" Mina said which confused Dahyun.
"Do you like being in the cold?" Mina shook her head and whispered

"I like being with you" Mina moved a few steps closer to dahyun and left a small peck on her pale cheeks. Dahyun widened her eyes and looked at her, Mina was smiling with her cheeks red, and Dahyun tried to walk away. But she held her shirt
"I had such an amazing time with you today. I can't believe we met just one day ago, but it feels like we've known each other forever. You bring so much happiness into my life." Mina said happily.

"Mina, I... I had a great time too. I never thought I could smile again after losing everything after Sana...but You... You're such a bright light, and being around you makes me smile even when I don't want to. But there's something I need to tell you."

"I know what you are gonna say you are my photographer? why didn't you tell me before"
"I- umm.." dahyun was thinking to answer but again was cut off by her.
"Now I get to spend more time with you after my shoot" She gave her the best gummy smile and dahyun knows how to make her upset.
"Mina, That's not what I wanted to say!"

When she heard Mina instead of Myoi she knew it was something serious.
"W-What is it, Dahyun?"

"I... I can't stay. I have to leave." When Dahyun was about to say something Mina cut her off.

"Is it because..." She paused whether to say Chaeyoung's name or not..she sure knows they have something going on between them, she isn't that dumb to not notice their talk. and looked at her.

"No, it's not because of you, it's because of me. I'm not good at letting people into my life, especially after what happened to me in the past."

She gets it..it's not Chaeyoung or her but Sana...
"But Dahyun, I care about you. I want to be there for you. Please don't push me away just because of what you've been through."

Dahyun walked closer to Mina, As dahyun gazed into her eyes, her heart fluttered with affection. The gentle Cold breeze played with the strands of her mina's hair, Dahyun couldn't help but notice how Mina's luscious locks cascaded over her face, partially obstructing the view of her radiant beauty. Mina walked towards her room and closed the door. Dahyun was watching as she walked behind her.

'did I just it up again?' She shrugged off her thoughts and entered her room and packed everything as she needed to leave early at 3 am in the morning. As Dahyun entered her balcony, she lighted a cigarette, a whirlwind of emotions and thoughts consumed her. Dahyun internally facepalmed. seriously? Water? You couldn't think of anything?

Mina raised an eyebrow, a hint of curiosity in her eyes. She knew there was more to Dahyun's unexpected visit than a simple request for water. However, she decided to play along, not wanting to expose the vulnerability they both shared. "Water? Sure, come on in," she said, stepping aside to let Dahyun enter.

Once inside, the air was heavy with unspoken tension. They both are standing in the same position for a perfect few seconds till Mina, sensing the intensity of the moment, stepped forward, closing the gap between them.

"you are here to say goodbye to me?" Mina asked as she has no idea when she is leaving.
Dahyun turned to her and hugged her.
"Are you gonna cry?" Mina joked.
"You Wish Myoi" Dahyun smiled.
"Hearing your smile makes me feel so good I don't know why," Mina said
"Jihyo should hear this...she waited for so long to see me smile like this, I don't know this was so easy with you myoi"
"Who is Jihyo now?" Mina broke the hug but Dahyun hands were still on her waist.
"My best friend who has seen me being a loser, doing drugs, smoking, drinking, ing girls.." she received a slap on her arm to stop.
"ouch! What?" dahyun smiled.
Her hand brushed gently against Dahyun's cheek, a tender touch that spoke volumes.

"I see beyond your walls, beyond the cold exterior. I see a beautiful person who deserves to be loved and cherished." Mina said which made dahyun feel so emotional that the walls around her heart feel weak...she is scared again to trust someone entering into her life again just to break it again.

'I can't go through the same again' dahyun thought and removed her hands from Mina's waist.

Dahyun slowly removed the bathrobe knot and her hands slowly moved from her neck to her back, tracing her fingers on the bra clip. she slowly started giving hickeys on her shoulders "not on any visible spots dahyun, remember i have a shoot tomorrow" Mina said, dahyun chuckled and moved down kissing her chest to little down, mina gasped leaving a moan, dahyun stopped when she heard sana voice again.

'Dahyunah'

A voice bringing her back to a place she thought she had left behind. It was the voice of her love, Sana, a painful reminder of the accident that had shattered her world.Dahyun mind is mess...hearing Mina moans and her dead girlfriend's voices...Dahyun's breathing quickened, her body trembling with anxiety and having fast flash memories of Sana and her last moments. Dahyun's head started to hurt and her anxiousness isn't helping and it was getting hard for her to breathe.she struggled to regain her composure, tears welling up in her eyes. She opened her trembling lips, but the words caught in . Instead, she nodded, silently acknowledging the wave of emotions crashing over her. she walking out to the balcony..she was pacing back and forth, trying to lighten the cigarette.
Mina tied the knot of a bathrobe and got down from the bed to check on dahyun. Dahyun took a few puffs of smoke in and threw the cigarette and sat down there..hugging her knees. Mina, with infinite tenderness, wrapped her arms around Dahyun, pulling her close in a comforting embrace. She held her tightly, providing a safe haven amidst the storm of memories and anxiety. Mina's presence acted as an anchor, grounding Dahyun in the present moment.

"It's okay, Dahyun," Mina whispered softly, her voice a soothing balm. "You're not alone. I'm here for you, and I'll support you through it all."

For the first time in three years, she feel safe enough to close her eyes and sleep without fear of nightmares and both slowly drifted into sleep in each other arms.

Dahyun woke up after a few hours..she checked the time it was almost 3 am. She slept peacefully for the first time, she looked at Mina who was sleeping peacefully in her arms.

"You make me believe in the possibility of healing and happiness once again Mina, but I'm scared...to fall in love again, what if...what if you leave me too? Or abandon me too? I don't think I'll even survive the thought...I'm certain about liking you Mina. I hope we cross paths again."

Dahyun slowly leans in and leaves a soft kiss on her forehead.

"This is my goodbye 나의 달(it means my moon)"

'i'll definitely miss you mina' Dahyun thought. She slowly wokeup without disturbing the girl and made her way out slowly closing the door.

She turned around to leave to her room but she wanted to check on chaeyoung.

She went inside the room and saw where chaeyoung is sleeping peacefully.

'i missed you' she thought and left the room.

Sana slowly opened her eyes and looked at her hand where momo held it and caressing it.

"You woke up?" Momo asked
Sana nodded.

"You need to take it slow satang, I know it's a lot...but please for your sake don't rush & strike up your emotions" momo pleaded.

Sana just nodded.

She is broken knowing that dahyun didn't even get to know she is alive all along and she can surely feel the other girl would be broken too.

She turned her face on the other side and closed her eyes again.

Sana paces back and forth in the living room, her face filled with worry. The door opens, and Dahyun enters, her shoulders slumped, and her eyes empty. Sana rushes towards her, her own heart heavy with sadness.

Sana voice trembling
"Dahyunah... I can see it in your eyes. You didn't find anything about her, did you?"

dahyun barely whispering
"No, Sana. I've searched everywhere, asked everyone, but there's no sign of her. It's like she disappeared into thin air."

Dahyun collapses on the bed, and Sana kneels in front of her, taking her hands into her own.

"I can't believe she would do this, Dahyunah. We were all friends, and I thought we meant something to her. I feel betrayed too, and it hurts so much."

dahyun voice breaking
"I trusted her, when she said she won't leave me Sana. She is my best friend, and she left without a word. How could she do this to me? How could she abandon me after everything we had? I thought she wouldn't abandon me like my mom did..."

dahyun clinging to Sana
"I feel so lost, Sana. It's been months, and I can't keep hoping for her return any more. I don't know how to move on from this."

Sana has seen dahyun struggling for months now...Dahyun barely gets sleep, she skips meals, she skips classes...all she does is search for chaeyoung going to all the places they have been to and asking everyone they both knew.

Dahyun sits on the edge of the bed, tears streaming down her face. Sana, visibly heartbroken, sits beside her, struggling to find the right words to comfort her. Sana reaches out, gently placing a hand on Dahyun's trembling shoulder.

As the morning light gently filtered through the curtains, Mina slowly stirred from her slumber, expecting to find Dahyun still nestled in her arms. However, her heart sank as she realized that Dahyun was no longer there. Panic coursed through Mina's veins as she scanned the room, searching for any sign of Dahyun. A sinking feeling settled deep within Mina's chest as the realization struck her like a heavy blow. Dahyun had left without a goodbye, without an explanation. The room felt emptier, colder, as the weight of Dahyun's absence settled upon her.
Tears welled up in Mina's eyes as a sense of loss and confusion washed over her. Questions swirled in her mind, the most prominent being why Dahyun had chosen to leave without giving her a chance to understand or offer her support.

she heard some knocks on her door.
She ran towards the door and opened hoping it to be Dahyun but it was her manager.
"Mina, it's already getting late, everyone has started to shoot set! Get ready in 15" her manager informed.She nodded.
She quickly got freshened up and came out to check dahyun room which is empty.

She left Mina was hurt ..it shouldn't hurt this deep but it is how it is...Doubt began to creep in, and she questioned whether the connection they had shared was as significant to Dahyun as it had been to her. Gathering her emotions, Mina reached for her phone, hoping for some form of explanation. But the device remained silent, void of any messages or calls from Dahyun. The silence only amplified her pain, leaving her feeling even more broken and abandoned..

When Mina came out from dahyun's room she saw chaeyoung staring at the door.

"She left didn't she?" With a broken voice, she can sense the pain. But she is helpless.

"Momo we got the information from the agent..she is in Seoul, they said she works in some JYP studio" Sana's mom said.
Momo nodded plainly.
'will sana choose dahyun again?' momo thought.
"Let's get her to sana, momo" She nodded.
A doctor walked towards them.
"As per your request, we have arranged everything to move Ms.Minatozaki to Seoul, she needs to be taken very great care Mrs. Minatozaki...she isn't stable with her legs or her emotions, so be careful" She nodded.
Momo was confused.
"We moving to Seoul for her further treatment, momo-ya"
"Aunty, can I come too?"
She gently puts her hand on her cheeks
"You left Japan and came to the USA when she chose to stay in Seoul with Dahyun, but now ?" she didn't want her daughter to hurt momo again.
"Aunty I have a hope that Sana will choose me this time" She smiled gently and nodded.
Both walked towards the Sana room.
