“I just saw that girl’s eyes… and I couldn’t, that’s all.”

 

“You’re always saying you would do anything to accomplish your mission. That was our chance to learn something, and you let it go.”

 

“Yeah, I know what I should’ve done and I told you I couldn’t! I’m sorry, okay?”

Shuhua was built to be a controlled variable. Programmed with over fifteen-hundred anti-deviancy subroutines written into her coding and designed as one last safe hold for humankind, should authorities fail to terminate the android insurrection.

But all this changed since the day she stepped foot into Kim Seokjin’s mansion searching for answers, only to find herself leaving the estate with more questions and doubts that would soon plague her mind.

Fast forward to a few months after the successful android revolution, Shuhua still struggles with deviancy. Although capable of emotions and free will, her programming is still overpowering and disorienting at times. Someone from her past seems to be causing a particularly upsetting amount of confusion for the detective. Someone who might've triggered her downward slope into deviancy itself.

I was supposed to write an update for my Blackpink Android AU fic and thought: “Hey, I think Shuhua and Miyeon would make pretty good androids”, so here we are now.
