Yeri really bought a whole chocolate cake which Seulgi couldn’t say no to. It was her favorite but she still hated Yeri for that.

She loved her best friend but she could be so extra and annoying sometimes.

“First- it’s ‘fake girlfriend’ and second, how the hell did you know that I would sign the contract?”

“So, when will they announce the news?” Yeri asked.

While munching her cake, Seulgi answered.

“Tomorrow, I’m kind of nervous. They said they will not reveal my name and blur my face, but you know how scary the media and netizen can be.”

Seulgi choked on her cake.

Seulgi sighed. She regretted her decision already.

Yeri shrugged her shoulders.

Yeri was right. Seulgi has signed for this -being exposed and known by the whole country when she agreed to this agreement. She knew she would suffer for a while, those mics and cameras would follow her and wouldn’t let her breathe. She should have thought about this carefully but everything was too late and she only could face whatever was going to happen now.

“Stop overthinking and finish your cake, Seul. I actually knew that you would be like this so I bought the cake to cheer you up. Don’t forget we still have afternoon shift today, I don’t want to be late and believe me you don’t want to hear our lovely manager’s nags.”

Yeri left to get prepared, and Seulgi sighed for the nth time.

Seulgi couldn’t sleep well last night. She was a deep thinker and she couldn’t stop overthinking since they said the news and statement would be released today. Seulgi slept at 4, glad she didn’t have class to attend to day. She didn’t set her alarm- she wanted to sleep as long as she could since she didn’t want to face and find out whatever was going to happen to her on the next day.
