“What?” Samar and Krizzia asked in unison. They were both taken by surprise. And somehow they couldn’t believe what they were hearing.

“I said I’ve decided to stay and do this job,” Ellie said again. This time in a more clear and louder voice.

The CEO of Avex was suddenly very happy with what he heard. “Oh, that’s good! I’m so happy that you’ve finally decided to do this project.”

Ellie smiled. “But on one condition . . .” she said with a certain glitter in her eyes.

“Condition? What? Just tell me and I will surely get right to it,” the old man uttered eagerly.

“Well . . . first . . . who is that guy who embraced me?” Ellie asked.

“Oh . . . that is Micky. Please don’t tell me, you want him to get replaced . . . because honestly I can’t do it. He’s a member of DBSK. So I can’t replace any one of them,” the old man said with worry.

“No . . . the condition I have now is quite different,” Ellie uttered.

“What is it then?” the old man asked again.

“Uhmm . . . tell me how long do you think this project will last? . . . Will it take a month or maybe two months?” Ellie asked curiously.

Samar and Krizzia couldn’t help but exchange glances with one another. Both of them were already very confused. Somehow they couldn’t understand what was going on in Ellie’s mind.

“Well, the shortest is about two weeks straight and the longest is about six weeks,” the CEO of Avex answered. “Why do you ask?”

            Ellie smiled mischievously. “Oh, nothing. I was just asking because my ‘special request’ is somehow connected to it.”

            “Really? Well please do tell me what your special request is. So I can immediately arrange it,” the old man said with a smile.

            “All right. Here is my request . . . I want Micky to be my boyfriend for a period of six weeks,” Ellie uttered bravely.

            “Ellie!” Samar and Krizzia both exclaimed in total shock.

            “What?” the old man asked as his jaw suddenly dropped open with shock as well.

            “Ellie, are you all right? Do you know what you’re asking?” Samar asked with worry.

            Ellie gave Samar a quick glance and then smiled.

            “I’m 100% sane, Samar. So don’t worry about me,” she uttered.

            “Sane? Are you sure you’re in a right state of mind? For god’s sake Ellie . . . you’re demanding a guy . . . a guy you don’t know . . . to be your boyfriend. And to make matters worst . . . you’re doing it in a way, like you’re just buying something from a store,” Krizzia uttered with dismay.

            “Ellie, Krizzia is right. Have pity on the guy. Don’t drag him into such an unusual situation. He’s a human being . . . not a thing that you can easily get,” Samar pleaded.

            “No, I want him! In fact, I want to know him better. That’s why I want him to be my boyfriend,” Ellie replied straight.

            The old man shook his head in total desperation and confusion. Somehow dealing with Ellie was bringing him such a painful headache.

            “I can’t do such a thing, Ellie. I’m sorry. We do have the DBSK boys under contract. But we certainly don’t interfere with their personal lives and affairs. And what you are asking is already way out of line,” the officer of Avex said with a sad and low voice. He was already feeling very weak. And he was already certain that Ellie was going to quit no matter how hard he tried to convince her to stay.

            “I know you wouldn’t agree to my demands. But anyway it was worth a try. Please just send me the letter regarding how much I need to pay for the trouble I made here. I’m sorry . . . but I really need to go,” Ellie slowly replied.

            “Wait . . . don’t I have a say in this conversation?” Micky suddenly interrupted.

            The DBSK boys were very near where Ellie, Samar, Krizzia and the CEO of Avex were talking. So they easily heard everything that Ellie said.

            “Micky,” the CEO of Avex uttered with concern. He was afraid of what Micky might say or do to Ellie.

            Micky stared coldly at Ellie. “What is it that you want from me? Don’t tell me that a simple embrace made you fall in love with me?” Micky said in a mocking manner.

            Ellie lightly laughed. “No, you’re not the first man to ever embrace me. But you’re certainly the first man to ever fight with me.”

            Micky couldn’t help but laugh with what Ellie said. “And I was really hoping that you would say that you have already fallen in love with me,” he said teasingly.

            Ellie’s reaction quickly changed. “Love? I don’t even believe in the word . . . not anymore,” she uttered coldly.

            Micky sighed deeply. “Tell me, why do you want me to be your boyfriend?”

            “Frankly. . . I am just curious about you . . . and I am also attracted both at the same time,” Ellie answered straight.

            Micky felt like something was stuck in his throat. He was totally blown away with Ellie’s answer. He has never met a girl that can answer so boldly and without any hesitations.

            “Have you had a boyfriend before?” Micky asked again.

            “No,” she quickly replied.

            “Have you been kissed before?” Micky asked boldly as well.

            “Yes,” she quickly answered.

            Micky couldn’t help but smile. He was totally amused with Ellie. She was brutally frank and honest with everything.

            Krizzia and Samar who just stood and watched, felt like their heads were spinning with the way things were happening.

            Micky continued to stare at Ellie, as if thinking. Then he suddenly smiled again and nodded his head.

            “Fine . . . I accept your condition. I’m willing to be your boyfriend for six weeks. . . . in return, you will have to stay here and be our script writer,” Micky said with a serious expression on his face.

            Xiah, Max, Jaejoong and U-Know were all stunned with their friend’s hasty decision.

            While Krizzia, Samar and the CEO of Avex were all astonished with what just happened.

            Ellie smiled. “You’re really very different from all the other men that I have met. This would surely be a very interesting experience.”

            Micky smiled as well. “Yes, this is truly interesting. So starting from tomorrow . . . I’m officially your boyfriend . . . and you, my beautiful Ellie . . . will be mine.”

            “Whatever,” Ellie uttered.

            Micky laughed again. “First of all, I just want to warn you that I am a total romantic. So I wouldn’t be surprised that after six weeks, you might end up falling in love with me.”

            Ellie let out a mocking laugh. “Me? Fall in love? I’ve already told you . . . I don’t even know the word. So stop dreaming. Let’s just say . . . I am only doing this . . . for fun. So I wouldn’t get bored while I’m here.”

            Micky shook his head. Ellie was truly unbelievable. “So do you think we can seal our arrangement with a kiss?” he asked as a tease.

            “A kiss? In your dreams,” Ellie answered with a hint of irritation.

            Micky chuckled. He was having such a fun time teasing his arranged girlfriend.

            And as Micky continued to stare at Ellie, a different set of eyes were closely focused on her as well.

            There was a sharp pain in Jaejoong’s heart as he silently watched Micky continuously tease Ellie. Somehow he wanted to be in his shoes. How he wished he could be the one near her.

            As Jaejoong continued to watch her, he then noticed something . . . something so familiar.

            Ellie was looking at Micky, and was obviously already irritated with Micky because of his unending teasing.

            She then slowly bit down on her lower lip and then followed by the upper lip. She did this three times continuously.

            Jaejoong’s heart quickly turned numb and his mind started to wander off into another world.

            “You know, you’re very beautiful . . . if you weren’t so fat,” Jaejoong teased Lena.

            “Fat? Well I would rather be fat than skinny like you,” she replied with a sharp tone.

            “Lena’s temper is rising. . . Any minute she will be bursting,” Jaejoong teased again.

            Lena stared coldly at Jaejoong. Then she bit down on her lower lip so hard that it immediately turned bright red, followed by the upper lip as well. She did this three times before she finally sighed and somehow just brushed aside her anger.

            ----- Reality -----

            Jaejoong sadly stared at Ellie. His heart was already screaming Lena’s name. Somehow his heart can’t be wrong.

            “Lena . . . is it really you? Don’t you know who I am? Don’t you recognize me? Can’t you remember me? Why won’t you look at me . . . even for one minute or even a second. Please look into my eyes . . .I want to know if it is really you. I’ve missed you so much Lena. Please look at me! I am begging you. I want to know the truth. I’ve spent the last six years searching for you. Lena . . . . Lena . . . . Please . . . do you know how much I’ve missed you?” he silently uttered in his mind as memories started to fill his head with haunting images that he had tried so hard to forget.
