Seulgi and her time didn’t even sweat to find where Suho is. After they were able to locate Sungjae’s location they were able to find Suho after he answered the phone call from Sungjae that Somi dialed using his phone. Locking Sungjae inside his own hideout, they called the cops to arrest him after they left him alone in his room.

They reach their destination and realized that Suho and his men are hiding at an old warehouse. The place is dusty and old but secured. “There’s no way this place has advance tech to be hacked.” Chayeong said.

“We will all be in the field.” Seulgi informed them. Instructing the ladies what they will have to do. She will be locating the main switch of the place, Somi will be a look out from above, while Chaeyong and Jisoo will attack as soon as the lights will be turned off. 

Analyzing the position of the armed men, Chaeyong and Jisoo were able to plan how will they attack. Seulgi found the main switch and after pulling down the lever, the lights switch off and the ladies attacked. Breaking and snapping bones, bruising faces, twisting limbs and taking away their weapons.

And even they were doing well. Seulgi couldn’t focus as she tries her best to keep her eyes focused on Joohyun in the dark. She was hit and hurt so many times since she failed to avoid the attacks of Suho’s men. Until she was hit with a bottle of beer on her head that pissed her off so she grabbed the wrist of the men and pierced the sharp broken half glass bottle on his throat.

When the lights were buy Somi, All of the men were lying on the ground in pain and their guns and knives are thrown away on the other side of the warehouse. Seulgi’s eyes are on Joohyun as soon as she could finally see a clear vision of her. Tied on the chair and blindfolded its pretty obvious that she’s terrified and uneasy. 

Seulgi kneeled down and took off Joohyun’s blindfold gently. Her eyes are still swollen from over crying and she blinked a few times to see clearly and when she realized its Seulgi smiling at her she cant help but to have mixed emotions. She’s glad, worried and she cant help but to feel really emotional.

Its just that Suho made a noise that caught Seulgi’s attention. She immediately ordered her team what to do and she run after Suho. Joohyun almost fell on her chair as she tried to stop Seulgi but she is tightly tied in the chair. Luckily she was caught by the two agents before her face could land on the ground.

“Ms. Bae you have to calm down. We will take you somewhere safe.” Chaeyong told her as she carefully untie her hand.

“No. We cant leave until without Ms. Kang.” Joohyun refused. “I have to run after her.” Joohyun said but before she could ditch the two agents, she was already hold firmly in her arm and carried her at the opposite way where Seulgi and Jisoo went. “You don’t understand! Ms. Kang might be in danger.” Thinking that the two ladies might just be some bodyguards at Seulgi’s agency. 

Reaching their car, Joohyun still tried to escape but before she could, Somi already pressed the babylock causing her to get stuck at the back seat. “Unlock the doors.” She said firmly but calmly. The two still doesn’t listen since they’re ordered by Seulgi they stayed for a while ignoring Joohyun’s complains and threats to make sure the two are still safe. The lead agent asked them to go back in the underground and they’ll find their way back.

As soon as Somi started the engine, Joohyun freaked out. “Yah! We have to go back where with Ms. Kang. Are you deaf?” 

“Ms. Bae, could you please calm down? We were ordered to bring you at protection terrain.” Somi said. “There’s nothing to worry about and everything is under control.” 

“Under control? Ms. Kang just ran after my dangerous husband.” 

“That’s your husband?” Chaeyoung asked.

“Can we just stay here until we have Ms. Kang with us?” Joohyun said.

“We can’t do that.” Somi said and she pressed a button that separated them just so they could have a peaceful travel.

Meanwhile, Seulgi and Jisoo are still running after Suho who’s in a distant from them but still can be seen from afar. Dodging the people that blocked their way, they maintained their eyes on him as if he’s running for his life. “Agent Jisoo, take the way to the next street. There is a way to where he is heading to.” 

“Ne.” Jisoo said as she turned right as fast as she could.

Her instincts didn’t fail her. Suho took the way where there is a dead end. A tall fence blocked his way. He climb on it but before he could reach the other side, Seulgi was able to grasped his ankle and pull him down causing him to fell on his back. Panting and struggling to get up, he obviously broke a part of his rib but he made strange laugh. Laughing hard enough that his sweat drips on his face. “I can’t believe I hired someone who will catch me.” He said. “Bodyguard Kang. Seemed like I under estimated you.” 

Breathing heavily, she smirked. “You’re an .”

Suho laughed once again. A sarcastic one that he hopes he would offend her. “You know what’s weird? The lights were also turned off in Paris when I was interrogating someone.” He gazed at her. “Was that you Ms. Kang?”

Seulgi didn’t admit or deny but it frustrates her to hear him laugh as loud as he could as if he’s a crazy psycho. “Why did you do this?” She asked. “Why did you betray someone who adores, trust and loves you so much?”

“Ms. Kang you are overdoing your work. Imagine, your work is just to look after my wife and you’ll earn a thousand dollars a month but why did you have to run after me in Paris? And in here?” He’s also curious. He doesn’t want to answer her question or it may just made him feel guilty.

“Why?!” Seulgi asked him back as she yelled at him. 

“Because I wanted the company! I wanted what she have and I never wanted her!” Suho yelled back at her frustratedly answered her question as his eyes widened. “I we born smart Ms. Kang, but coward. I hide by the shield and courage of my mother and when I found that Joohyun could build me as well. I took advantage of it.” Then he smiled with his insulting and honest confession. “And she fell for it.”

Seulgi cant take it anymore. She punched Suho on the face but not as hard as the way she hurt his men back at the old warehouse. She even felt guilty for doing it. If there’s one thing that makes the top secret agent weak it is her emotions. She cant endure Suho’s words when Joohyun has nothing to say to her but good thoughts and remarks. It hurts her twice than she could ever imagine. 

Getting emotional makes her out of focus. She recalled how the way Joohyun admired Suho and she could imagine how hurt Joohyun will be if she founds out her husband’s dark secrets. Being occupied by the thought of her Boss, Suho took a folded knife on his pocket and he attacked Seulgi stabbing her on her stomach. 

Jisoo who lost her way just arrived and saw what happened running towards them, she grabbed her gun and pointed it towards Suho. She fired her gun and Seulgi immediately took the bullet instead. “Agent Kang!” Jisoo worriedly scream. She climb at the tall fence that divides them. 

“He must be arrested alive.” Seulgi said as she endures the pain. She pulled Suho’s legs and twist both of them, temporarily dislocating her knees. The man groaned in pain. “He as a wife waiting for him.” Seulgi said. “Call the police.”

“Let go of me!!” Joohyun screamed at the top of her lungs and she was thrown at the couch in her room. The two panting agents who struggled to bring her at the protection terrain just watched at her really pissed. 

“What’s happening here?” Lia asked and she was shocked to see her sister. “Unnie, you’re alive!”

“Lia…” 

“Alright. Family reunited. We will make our way back to the headquarters.” Somi informed them.

“Unnie what happened?” Lia asked her. 

“Lia, over here!” Yeji called her and the two went to the living room from the receiving area of their room. 

“One of the velvet group’s director Mr. Kim Suho, was found hurt and alone at a street around Seoul. He was immediately arrested and os currently declared under investigation after his name was mentioned by one of the known drug lord in Europe.”

“Your husband is a drug syndicate?” Lia asked her sister rudely as if she’s totally disgusted.

Joohyun just looked down staring on the floor. Embarrassed and disappointed, if she could just deny she would but this time all of the good thoughts that she have with her husband was washed away.

“Lia, you’re being rude.” Yeji held her girlfriend’s arm.

“No!” Lia said as she gazed at her sister strongly. “She insisted to get married with that . She let that man ruined our relationship and she even let him take over her position at the company! And now knowing that he is a criminal… cant you imagine how your life could be so dangerous everyday with that man?” She asked in a worried tone.

“I am sorry Lia. I should’ve listen to you and aunt Taeyeon as well.” Joohyun finally cry and before Lia could feel guilty for what she did she walked out and went straight to her bedroom.

“Miane Joohyuh unnie.” Yeji said as she gave Joohyun a tight hug,

“No I am sorry Yeji.” Joohyun said. “I put your sister in danger.” She confessed with a heavy heart.

Yeji nods. “Its not going to be ok Unnie knowing that as of the moment she could be in danger but I have faith in her unnie.” She forced a smile. “Let’s keep our hopes up Unnie.” 

The atmosphere at the room isn’t really comfortable. Everyone is worrying about Seulgi and Lia couldn’t feel anything but to be upset to her sister. They shared the table with some meals that Yeji cooked but unlike having meals together, this time no one’s chatty and complete silence surrounds the room. 

Its not that the dish doesn’t taste well but Joohyun doesn’t really have the appetite to eat. So she placed her spoon soaking in the bowl of soup and placed her hands on her lap. “Miane.”

“Unnie don’t force yourself to eat. If you need to rest you can lay down for a while.” Yeji said.

But Joohyun burst out crying. Her worries kills her. She badly wanted to know how Seulgi is doing as if at the back of her mind she’s having a vision of her dead. “I’m sorry for making your meal so unappetizing.” She apologized. 

Joohyun didn’t finish her meal and just walked out inside the other room. Leaving the lovers alone having their meal but Lia also lost her appetite after seeing her sister crying. Its not that she hate it but she dislikes the feeling of feeling sorry towards her. “I’m going to the pool for a while. I need to unwind.” Lia said and gave Yeji a peck on her cheek before she leave. 

After Lia left Yeji couldn’t also finish her food anymore so she decided to tidy up the table, wash the dishes and set aside the meals that were seemly untouched. Yeji slowly opened the door in Joohyun’s room and found her quietly sobbing under her sheets. Its not that Yeji cares about her girlfriend’s sister so much but besides that she could understand how she feels, she could see Lia on her and she doesn’t want that.

“Unnie. I brought a glass of water for you.”

And since she has been crying too much, Joohyun feel dehydrated and so she lift herself up and took the water. Somehow it soothes but it didn’t washed what she’s feeling away. “Unnie… I know you’re not crying because you were traumatized that you were kidnapped.” 

“What do you mean?” Joohyun looked at her with a swollen and flushing eyes.

“You like Seulgi unnie don’t you?” 

Joohyun just looked away. “Am I too obvious?” Joohyun asked her and she cried. 

“Too obvious not to notice.” Yeji said. “You and Lia are really looked a like. I see the way how you look at her.” 

“For once I hated that fact that I really looked like her.” Joohyun made a joke that caused her to slightly laugh but she cry again. “Once Seulgi made it out alive… I promise to use whatever I have to protect her.” She said. “But the last time I saw her, her head was bleeding.” Joohyun said and suddenly whine.

Yeji slightly smiled. “You know when I learned that she already quit her job as a flight attendant I felt relieve.” She said. “Cause whenever she comes back from a different country she always comes home with new bruises, bandages, wounds and often a broken bone and that’s when I realized that she’s not just a flight attendant.” 

“What do you mean?” Joohyun asked. “Like? Is she a bodyguard of someone before me?”

“No. I have a feeling she belongs to a special task force agency.” Yeji confidently said. “Maybe that’s the reason why she’s brave and tough.”

Suddenly a knock on the door interrupted them. Yeji immediately went to the front door to open it and it was Chaeyong. “Yeji, you are requested to down stairs.”

“Wait.” Joohyun jumped out the bed as soon as she heard chaeyong’s voice, running towards the front door she worriedly asked. “Any news about Seulgi?” 

“I apologize Ms. Bae but I am not allowed to disclose anything about her as of the moment. Right now an immediate family is requested.” 

“I’m going.” She said

But Chaeyong just pulled Yeji out and closed the doors for Joohyun. Locking it from the outside so she wont be able to follow them. Yeji was hesitant to ask question but she hopes her sister to be okay. Reaching the underground’s medical ward, she found Seulgi sleeping with a bandage on her head by just looking at her from afar, Yeji already knew that she’s still alive. She always sleeps with open.

“Relative?” A Doctor approached her after Chaeyong left her inside the ward. “Probably.” She said after Yeji bowed at her. “I am Doctor Rose.” She introduced herself with a bright smile. “Just a slight injury on the side of the forehead. A skin was partially tear off and it wont stop bleeding so we did some stitches. Stabbed with a knife two inches on the lower rib, no organs were damaged and a gun shot on the left shoulder blade but there’s nothing to worry about.” She explained.

“You’re done here. Let’s get back to the terrain.” Chaeyoung said as soon as the Doctor excuse herself.

“What? No. I’ll be looking after my sister.” Yeji refused.

Chaeyoung point at every corner of the medical ward. “This is a CCTV built facility. No one will hurt your sister here.i guarantee that.” 

Two after Yeji left the ward, Moonbyul who’s currently recovering came to visit Seulgi with her crutches. Her face is still badly swollen because of the bruises she got but she managed to visit Seulgi on her own. Just as the moment she took a sit at the edge of her bed, Seulgi finally woke up not minding the pain of her stitched wound. 

“Moonbyul.” She said. Even her vision is still blurry due to oversleeping she recognized her as if she knows her a hundred percent.

Moonbyul slightly smiled. “What are you? Man of steel?” She giggles. 

“Oh quit joking around.” 

Moonbyul maintained her smile. “I came cause I am worried. I never thanked you for saving me.” She said. “So thank you very much.”

“This is not the right time for drama. I am really in pain now.” She slightly giggles with her. Seulgi’s tummy suddenly growls. She haven’t eaten anything  and now she is starving. “You ok for a cup of ramyun?”

Swiping her ID in exchange of two cup of ramyun and cans of beer, Moonbyul hand everything to Seulgi and they paved the way to their favorite spot. The open balcony of the underground agency. “The smell makes me more hungry.” Seulgi said as she placed two cups of ramyun clasped with chopsticks to soften the noodles on the long wooden bench of the open area.

“Don’t you think our agency’s name is a bit ironic? ‘Underground’ but we’re 30ft above the ground.” Moonbyul said between her giggles.

“Geez, your jokes are really lame but I don’t know why I am laughing.” 

Moonbyul stopped laughing expressing a straight face. She snatched both of the cup of ramyun and placed it on her other side. “I’m-going fo take this.. unless you answer my question.” And an awkward silence surrounded them. “We used to be four agents hanging out here.”

Seulgi nods. “Right I really owe you an explanation.” She said but she couldn’t face her colleague nor look at her eyes. “I met this woman which turned out to be Mr. Yook Sungjae’s fiance. We’ve been into a romantic relationship until she confessed that she was pregnant. That night…” she paused as if she was hesitant. She made deep exhale. “When I realized Yook Sungjae was my target I never wanted their son to grow up without a father.” 

Moonbyul looked at her and realized how hard was it for her to choose the woman she loved mored than her mission but instead of despising the lead agent. She cant help but to admire her for having the courage to choose other’s happiness more than hers. “I wonder how did you endure that.”

“To tell you honestly… after learning that the other agents died and failed their mission, I’ve been blaming myself. I told myself that if I also failed to save you I will never forgive myself for failing that mission.” Seulgi confessed.

“So what does it have to do with Ms. Bae? Why did you put her under P.O? and why did you covered her husband when the other agent fired the gun on him?” 

Seulgi giggled then whine. She couldn’t help but to feel sorry for herself and the other agents as well. “Maybe I was just too in denial to admit but I am falling for is wife and I don’t want her to feel bad if she found out that her husband was hurt.”

“Are you really like that? You will choose other’s happiness rather than your own happiness and safety?” Moonbyul said expressing how disgusted she is. “And why are you attracted with woman that are affiliated with men.” She asked again and placed the other cup of ramen back on Seulgi’s side.

“I don’t know.” She forced a laugh again. “But you’re right. We used to hangout here with the old team. Want to ask the new team to join us?” 

Moonbyul raised her eyebrow to Seulgi and took her phone. “Calling Team Deulgi here at the open balcony. Bring your meals and be around less than a minute. This is an order.” Moonbyul said and laughed hard as she could after turning the call down.

“Really? You called my new team that name?” Seulgi asked her pretending she’s totally offended.The three new agents came in a rush an were panting in line. “And you guys didn’t even said anything about it?” 

“Omo… did I put them in trouble?”

Unfortunately they also brought a cup of ramyun and bottled water with them. “Do some squats until your noodles isnt softened.”

“Ne!” Everyone answered in chorus and obey without questions.

After enjoying their night meal, Moonbyul decided to go back to her room to have some rest. While Somi and Chaeyoung rushed to the programming night class to enhance their skills. When Seulgi and Jisoo were left along at the open balcony, Jisoo took the chance to pull out a roll of tuna kimbap from her loose pocket. “Agent Kang. This I am sorry for what happened. I shouldn’t have decided quickly.” 

“I’m not going to say no to this. The cup of ramyun didn’t fill my stomach.” She politely grabbed it and unwrapped the covers. “Don’t feel bad Agent Jisoo. To tell you honestly if it wasn’t for your gunshot I wouldn’t able to hold myself to do more than just dislocating his limbs.”

It wasn’t what she’s really expecting. Ever since Seulgi was brought to the emergency room and lost her consciousness she has been very uneasy and uncomfortable. She thought she will get a pretty scolding but she didn’t. “Kamsamnida Agent Kang.” Jisoo thanked her and she cant help but to blush.

“I’m looking forward to do more missions with you.” Seulgi said munching the slice of tuna kimbap. “Nice work today Agent Jisoo.”

“What? That was so stupid. How could they not let you look over at your sister?” Joohyun asked Yeji as soon as she informed the siblings that Seulgi is safe. “How is she? Does she lie on a comfortable bed? Is her room spacious enough for her to feel relaxed? It is well ventilated? What?”

“Hang on unnie I cant answer that once but she’s staying in the ward.” 

“Ward?” Joohyun gasped. “How cheap! Let’s request for a better room.”

“I think she’s more comfortable there and besides, the Doctor said there’s nothing to worry about.”

“Why are you asking too much questions?” Lia annoyingly asked. “You should be staying in your room and taking a rest. You have to put your mind at ease…” she paused as soon as she sounds like she’s worried to her older sister. “And besides you look terrible.” 

Lia pulled Yeji with her inside their bedroom but Yeji made sure to wish Joohyun good night. Leaving her alone inside the living room she suddenly get bored and thought she already cried all the tears in her eyes. 

Folding her knees towards her chest and hugging her limbs, she placed her chin over her knees and starred blankly. Having the good thoughts she had with Seulgi. Right. She miss her. She miss her so much. She badly wanted to see her but she can’t for some reasons her alibis of being a married woman is no longer applicable to herself to deny that she’s already falling in love with her bodyguard and of course the guilt that has been bothering her for not trusting Seulgi.

Joohyun took the pen and press the button to buzz Seulgi. It’s the only thing that connects the two of them. “Right. Let’s pretend that you’re going to come to see me.” She talks to herself as she keep on pressing her pen.

She spent more than half an hour pressing the pen again and again. She was so focused to her pen that she didn’t realize that Seulgi already entered their room. “You didn’t head. I supposed?”

Sticking her eyes on her thumb and at the button of the pen. Her uneven twitched after hearing such familiar voice. She turned her head on her right and found Seulgi standing five steps away from her. Smiling at her with her pajamas on and a bandage on her forehead.

“Ms. Kang…” Joohyun said. Hoping that she’s real.

Seulgi pulled herself away from the wall she is leaning to and drop her hands from being unfolded. She snatched the emergency pen from Joohyun. “I knew it. This was with you all the time. Why didn’t you use it to buzz me?”

She’s real. Joohyun looked away from her. “I was tied.” She lied. 

“You could reach for it in your front pocket.” She said.

“I don’t want to put you in danger.” She confessed as she closed her eyes and her tears started to fell down from her eyes. “I’m sorry if I put you in danger.” She apologized. “I should’ve deal with this on my own. I already fired you, you shouldn’t have shown up.” 

“Wow. You’re apologizing as if it was my fault.” 

“Yes it is!” Joohyun raised her voice enough not to wake up the two lovers inside their bedroom. “It is all your fault, because… because you dated too many successful women that I feel so cheap compared to them. I found all the mismatched reports in the company. Which means I will really question Suho about it and I will end up being kidnapped even if you didn’t give me a heads up.”

Seulgi was honestly surprised with what she said but there’s one thing she’s sure about. Joohyun is not good in hiding her feelings. “Uhmmm.. you could just thank me?”

“I won’t and good night!” Joohyun marched frustratedly in her room and slammed the door close. She leaned her back on it and hit her head. “What the hell is wrong with you Joohyun?! She’s already standing in front of you.” She quickly opened the door again but Seulgi is no longer around the living room and the receiving area. “Ms Kang?” She called her name but she’s no longer there.

She went out and searched the whole floor of the terrain thinking she might still glance at her but she didn’t. “Why am I always acting tough around you?” Joohyun sniffs again as she cries. She just lost her chance to confess to her. Everything that bothers her and everything she’s feeling.

Joohyun came back to their room. Closing the front doors gently and she walk towards her room. “Don’t make me leave. I have nowhere to sleep inside Yeji and Lia’s room.” Seulgi said as she lay comfortably pillowing both of her hands on Joohyun’s bed. 

“Miane… Ms. Kang.” She finally apologized and lay beside her. Pillowing Seulgi’s arms and wrapping her hand around her. Pushing her head towards her neck. “I am sorry for not trusting you. The truth is. I was so jealous and annoyed to see you hanging out with another woman at the Central Station. You guys are exchanging laughs and it made me pissed and jealous.” She confessed. “I learned from Yeji that you’ve dated a lot of women so I thought you were flirting with her and I don’t want you to play with my feelings.” 

Seulgi just made a cute laugh at her. “I was expecting for a thank you but there’s nothing to apologize.” Seulgi exhales. “I know as a wife, it is your sole responsibility to trust your husband and I understand that.” Seulgi cupped Joohyun’s face to look at her. “To tell you honestly, it was really my fault that this happened. If only I didn’t fail a mission back then this won’t happen.”

“What mission?”

“I’ll tell you once we get out of here.” Seulgi said as she brushed her fingers to her still smooth and silky hair. “What did you do to me Ms. Bae?”

“Your lips is too near to mine Ms. Kang.” She cutely said.

Seulgi pursed her lips and she turned her head facing the ceiling which made Joohyun disappointed. She badly wanted that lips on hers but she couldn’t say it. “Miane.” Seulgi  apologized. 

“No you don’t have to say sorry.”

“I am apologizing in advance.” Seulgi said as she looked at her and when their eyes met, she didn’t spare a second to land to her former Boss. Sliding her tongue and scooping her upper and lower lip aggressively. Joohyun was surprised with her aggressive way of initiating romance but she doesn’t want her to stop either.

She pulled away gently and tucked her hair on her ears and swayed her hair on her back. Exposing her neck causing Seulgi to crave more on her. She made soft to hard at every inch of her neck near her nape leaving some love marks unintentionally on Joohyun’s skin. 

The wet and moist lips of Seulgi just made Joohyun really feel delighted. Soft moan escapes and she couldn’t help but to grasped Seulgi’s nape. Biting her lower lip as she indulge on her neck she didn’t even flinch when Seulgi placed her hand on her right . 

Pulling up Joohyun shirt and pulling down one cup of her bra, she her s as hard as she could but then she stopped. “I’m not going to make love with someone married. You should settle your marital status first if you wanted to go further.” Seulgi and passionately kissed her before she detached herself from her and wished her goodnight.

“Yah Ms. Kang?” Joohyun annoyingly stopped her from leaving.

“Joohyun.” She said in an alluring tune. It made Joohyun bite her lower lip. Somehow hearing her calling her by her name turns her on. “You moan so loud. You’ll gonna wake up the two at the other room.” Seulgi said and gave her a peck. “Good night.”

Joohyun pout at Seulgi but she was right. She will end up getting caught by Lia if they go further.
