"Come on, wake up! It's time for breakfast!" Jieun barged into Chanyeol's room, her voice echoing with enthusiasm. He groaned in annoyance, still half-asleep. "Just leave me alone!" he grumbled without realising his harsh tone.

Jieun approached him, observing him closely. He slowly opened his eyes and found her standing so close. Without thinking, he pulled her even closer, whispering, "How about a kiss?" Her cheeks flushed, and she quickly averted her gaze. "I was just checking if you were really awake or not," she stammered, clearing awkwardly.

As Jieun walked away, Chanyeol followed suit after finishing his morning routine. He sat down at the table, taking a bite of the delicious breakfast Jieun had prepared. "How is it?" she asked, a hint of anticipation in her voice. "It's really tasty," he replied, savouring each bite. But as he enjoyed the meal, memories of his mother flooded his mind.

Slowly, his thoughts shifted to how Jieun had taken care of him, reminiscent of a mother or even a wife. She cooked for him, did his laundry, cleaned his room despite his insistence that he would take care of it himself. She listened to his worries and supported him, even when he acted cold and rude at times.

Chanyeol glanced at Jieun, who was busy eating her own breakfast. "Baekhyun asked if you needed any groceries since he's planning to visit us," he mentioned, curious about Jieun's response. Baekhyun had come under investigation, as the police suspected he may have aided Chanyeol and Jieun in their escape. However, no evidence was found, and Baekhyun was eventually freed after a week of surveillance. "I'll give you the list," Jieun replied, leaving the table to retrieve it.

Feeling a sense of boredom, Chanyeol the TV, hoping to find something to pass the time. To his dismay, false news about himself flooded the screen.
